I was nearly certain that I had already made up my mind on another brand and I was just stopping in out of curiosity. I am so glad I did. I met with James who is extremely personable and down to earth. He was very patient and professional as he helped me as we compared the features between the different trim levels. After discussing my main concerns and comparing things like pricing, warranty, and the available safety features between the crosstrek and the other model that was on the top of my list at the time, I discovered that the Subaru is an excellent value and suddenly made it to the top of my list. The first time I brought it in was to service the parking assist and to fix the front end from shaking when the brakes are applied. After picking the car up the second time, I was told that the parking assist may now be a wiring issue. The brakes work great now. No more shaking! I bought a certified vehicle, but had to request several minor things (headphones and remote control for the entertainment system) after the sale which I would have expected to be part of a certified sale. The vehicle, although used was still expensive. I'm still waiting on the remote control. That said, I have found the service team so far to be very helpful in working through the issues.

That amount was then reduced to $7,500, and after the vehicle was inspected, the final discount dropped again to only $6,800. The numbers and explanations continually changed throughout the negotiation. They also ran my credit three times. When I questioned the interest rate, I was initially told, "The rate is the rate," and that it could not be negotiated. After I pushed back and waited another 30 minutes, Joe returned and said they could lower the rate by an additional full percentage point--directly contradicting what I had just been told. I was then informed that the Cadillac had to be driven 200 miles and kept by the manager for 10 days before it could be released to me. After spending five hours at the dealership, their only explanation was that this was "protocol." If that was truly required, it should have been disclosed at the beginning--before running my credit multiple times and wasting hours of my time. This dealership wasted my entire Friday, which cost me even more as a business owner. Based on my experience, there was a serious lack of honesty, transparency, and respect for my time. I would not recommend Bergey's Cadillac.

We have been a customer of Conicelli for many years and this is another reason why Conicelli really…read moreis a NICE place to do business. Our oldest son has a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek that he drives from Thorndale into Philly (Jefferson Hospital) in the very early AM hours for work. He recently noticed a strange noise/vibration coming from what he thought was all four wheels, mostly when he would hit small bumps or potholes. He took the car into Christian Brothers Automotive (Downingtown) thinking they would give him an honest appraisal of what the problem was. After looking at the car they told him the front and rear Tie rods/CV axles needed fixing or replacing and that there was also a hole in his muffler. They said it would cost around $5000 to repair. Chris called me and asked for my advice. I immediately contacted Luis Rivera in the Conicelli Toyota Service Department. Luis is the Service Manager, however he had been our Service advisor for as long as we have been with Conicelli. Luis set up an appointment for us to come in. Wade Albright (Mechanic) put the Subaru up on a lift and checked things out. After Wade did his assessment, Luis allowed my son and I to come out into the shop so he and Wade could show us the issue. The strange noise from the bottom of the car was actually coming from one of the heat shields which had rusted away from the bolt that was holding it into place, and was therefore rattling whenever the car would hit a bump or pothole. The Tie rods/CV axles which Christian Brothers Automotive said needed replacing were fine ... there was no oil or anything leaking from any of the four boots and the tie rods were also fine. The noise/vibration was coming from the heat shield which Wade said would be an easy fix. The issue with the muffler was rust that was starting to cause a small leak along one of the pipes, plus one of the ties or hooks that holds the pipes in place needed some fixing. Luis gave us options ... replace the entire muffler assembly or do some repair work that required some welding. The second option would be less costly and would/could give us another 2-3 years before the muffler and pipes needed replacing. BOTTOM LINE ... what would have been a $5000 repair bill at Christian Brothers Automotive turned out to be significantly less at Conicelli. And at Conicelli we had well-trained, highly qualified people doing the work. Conicelli really is a NICE and TRUSTWORTHY place to do business. We have been customers and will continue to be customers because we know we can TRUST Luis Rivera and his Team. I am in my senior years and have been to many Automotive Shops and Dealerships through the years. We will continue to come back to Conicelli because we know we can trust Luis and the Team of mechanics. I know I speak for countless people who worry whenever they have to bring their car in for work because they just don't know what is going on in the garage/repair shop while their car is being inspected. I don't worry about this when I come to Conicelli. In addition to Luis, who is the reason we continue to come back to Conicelli, our sincerest thanks and a shout out go to the following people: Wade Albright (Mechanic). There are certain people that when you meet them you know right away they are good people ... that was the vibe we got from Wade. He went over the issues on the car; he and Luis talked about the various options we had; and they allowed us to make a choice. There was no pressure put on us. Thank you Wade! We went by to pick it up around 12:15 PM. I went in for her to the customer service area, there were about 5 representatives who ignored me for about 7-8 minutes as I walked back and forth to be very visible. After a period of time another customer walked in, one of the representatives who had been ignoring me said to him, "can I help you?". Finally the representative on the far right side (facing the counter) helped me after I initiated with him. It was like they were all trying to avoid helping me. It was a horrible experience. My wife previously went to JL Freed Honda in Montgomeryville to service her former car, the customer service was excellent there. Conicelli Toyota's Service Department staff was some of the rudest, most ignorant customer service people I've ever dealt with. Next time I'll drive farther away for a better service experience. Young female with good credit. Call it an age old truth that car dealers are smarmy con artists, but Conicelli (privy to this notion) wanted to be different, they wanted to be "a nice place to do business." I'll break the suspense and let you know, dear reader, that I indeed purchased a new vehicle. And while I feel warm and fuzzy about my new Subaru (save the jokes), the process by which I acquired it was not as pleasant. I'll break this up into parts and take inspiration from lolcats (just because there's really nothing fun about car purchasing). Car Knowledge - u haz nun My car salesman didn't know anything about the Subaru I was interested in buying. When I asked him why the tiptronic feature, he replied, "oh, that's just for fun." Really? Negotiation - Ladiez don't know maths They really frowned on the fact that I was attempting to negotiate the price. They didn't seem willing to work on it, but then when I decided to walk away from the purchase, they bit with fervor and lowered it to my offer. Then when I signed off on the paperwork, I found that yeah, the agreed price was there, but then with everything else tacked on, the total looked exactly like what they wanted me to pay in the first place. Coincidence? I think not... Contracts - Just papers, they don't mattah The paperwork process was a set up. They had me sign off on everything and transfer my insurance over before even letting me see the price breakdown. I was set on the car, so I wasn't about to change my mind, but they were really slimy when it came to letting me see the raw figures. Flattery - Nice bracelet, I haz one too No matter who I talked to, they were sure to compliment me on something. "Nice bracelet! Is it John Hardy? Oh my god, I love John Hardy. This is my David Yurman." I think this was their attempt at making me feel comfortable. Like I could open up to them. Tell them stories like they were telling me stories. So, yes, Conicelli might welcome you with a smile, offer you water and compliment you on your attire/jewelery/handbag, but I still left feeling like I'd been inappropriately felt up by a dirty uncle or something.

With Conicelli the process of trading in a lease early and getting into a used vehicle seemed so…read morequick and easy at first, but I should have known it was too good to be true. My salesman, Charlie Blue, was your typical sheisty salesman, fast and smooth talking with quick answers to all questions (I came to learn most were not correct). He quickly got me through the process of trading in a lease and getting a used SUV I wanted. He swore profusely he knew the process of trading in a lease early and that he looked up my contract at the Conicelli Hyundai dealership. He promised there would be NO early termination fees since Conicelli was affiliated with Hyundai. A few weeks later I was notified by Hyundai there would be an early termination fee assessed. I immediately reached out to Charlie who along with his supervisor, Rich Greco, told me Hyundai was wrong and to give them time to sort it out. Once I realized it was Conicelli that was in the wrong and pushed the issue I was given the run around by Charlie and supervisors at Conicelli, Rich Greco and Oliver Woolfolk, for weeks on end. I even contacted Paula DiGiacomo the Customer Relations Manager with Conicelli who was no help at all, telling me to contact the people I've tried to that already weren't calling me back! In the end, despite being promised a call from a supervisor to discuss the charges I received a very short, unempathetic email from Charlie saying Conicelli wouldn't help or fix the issue they caused. I tried calling and emailing back and have received no response (this happened numerous times throughout the process). I had to pay the termination fee I was assured there wasn't originally, and then was promised Conicelli would take care of since they made the mistake. I don't understand how I can be blatantly lied to by a Conicelli employee but they won't do anything to resolve or even show their client a bit of respect and good customer service. If you want to buy a new car which shouldn't have issues, or like to take risks with a used car, Conicelli could be the place for you. If you want a dealership that cares about not only selling vehicles but also their customers well being after the fact Conicelli isn't the right place. It is by no means a "nice" place to do business.
