If you're in Broward County and craving authentic Dominican street food, look no further than Super…read moreChimihurry El Malecon. This food truck has quickly established itself as the go-to spot for the best chimi--a Dominican burger--around. From the moment I arrived, the vibrant energy of the location caught my attention. Nestled in a lively area, Super Chimihurry offers a perfect blend of urban flair and community spirit. The outdoor seating enhances the experience, allowing diners to enjoy the delicious smell of grilled meats wafting through the air. Now, let's talk about the chimi. Each bite is a delightful explosion of flavor; the perfectly grilled beef patty is juicy and well-seasoned, while the fresh toppings--cabbage, tomatoes, and a zesty sauce--add the perfect crunch and tang. The bread is soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without overwhelming the savory filling. Service at Super Chimihurry is exceptional. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend their favorite dishes or customize your chimi to your liking. They make it a point to ensure every customer feels welcomed and satisfied. In summary, Super Chimihurry El Malecon is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Dominican flavors. The combination of delicious food, a lively location, and outstanding service truly sets this food truck apart. Don't miss out on what might just be the best chimi in Broward County! Right smack in the middle of Valero gas station on 8th street & SW 44th ave (yes, it's across the street from the cemetery). The truck looks brand new and they have cute little tables & chairs set out behind the truck. The guys in the truck could not have been nicer! Super pleasant We ordered the Guacamole & chips, I got the Chicken Tacos, my dad went with a fully loaded hot dog & we ordered 2 other Taco orders (Carne Asada) to go for my son & his girlfriend. My dad loved the hot dog & although my tacos & the guacamole were good, the prices were INSANE! 3tacos for $15?!? I small guacamole (literally what in any other place would be considered a side) with a few chips for $12.50?!? We are ALL about supporting small businesses but the owners of Takitos should really reassess the situation. There are a million GREAT Mexican restaurants in close proximity. People come to food trucks for good eats at low prices. Charging restaurant prices to sit outside in a gas station just doesn't make sense. Not to mention it is in a working-class neighborhood. Wynwood/South Beach prices don't fly here. On a side note, my son & his girlfriend LOVED their tacos so the food is good. It probably just tastes better when you are not the one paying :/

So I'll say this; This is probably among the top five barbecue places I know of in the entire United States and the world in my travels. This has become the favorite place for barbecue of my South Florida family. The good: Beautiful barbecue, great bark on the brisket and the "Dino rib" also, I thought it was delicious. We also had some pork ribs which didn't go over as well as the other two, but I felt were quite good. The reasonably generous with their sauces, but we ran out of the very spicy version and the Carolina mustard based sauce. I had to whip up a batch of my own when I got home to the northeast as it was a decidedly serious favorite in my secondary family space. The bad; Everything is all a cart. Even the sides. Although they do have some combos, you're not walking away without some pain :-) And, it's Takeaway only. I mean, you can eat in the car, but I don't recommend it at all considering. The ugly: By the time we got done with 2 1/2 pounds of brisket, a Dino rib ($20), a few sides, including their coleslaw and cornbread which were enjoyed immensely, we were roughly $150 into it. It's not something you would do every day. And for four or five people, it will feed them and have a little bit left over, but you're not getting away without leaving some skin behind. Unfortunately, for me in my wallet, I will be back because it's just-that-good. The place opens at 2 PM which gets you the freshest I imagine as they smoke overnight, and they close at 2 AM the next morning. In our case, we missed the chicken because it wasn't ready when we were there in the later evening. You get what you get and we got what we could. It makes sense to order ahead of time that way they can time your order with Wots coming out. Had I known that, I would've done that first thing and known when stuff was available. Appears to be family owned, and operated at least to some extent. Be prepared to have your clothes smelling of barbecue when you leave.

Delicious tender brisket. Baked beans, cornbread and rice was also really great. We will be backread more
