I have purchased many appliances from Johnston's Home Center and they have always been so helpful and very careful when setting up the new and removing the old. It was very fortunate that Black Friday sales were going on so got a great value for my new GE Washer.

I didn't have the cash, they have a program, and a couple of months I'd have it paid. OK. I applied for the program a day or so later, the washing machine was delivered, no paperwork. Long story short, according to SNAP Finance, the Extended Warranty can not be paid for in payments. Johnstons says I had a balance on the washing machine, delivery charge, and tax for $290.?? Not the $149. And I paid over $700 to pay SNAP off. If I can keep from it I will never use Johnstons or SNAP Finance again. If you knew what horrible service I've received there are not one not too, but seven different occasions in the last couple of months. This is about Home Depot, I drive from Diamondhead because they offer excellent customer service, a better selection at better prices and their employees actually seem to be happy. They're there and interested in assisting you. Tonight I have the pleasure of working with Kris in the lumber department. I was a bit stumped on. Not only was he personable and professional, but he quickly found exactly what I needed, made some great suggestions, and did so in such a pleasant manner that I will definitely ask for him next time I come back and need help. Not only is Home Depot. It's right off the freeway, but like I said, it's worth the drive when you can get good customer service which seems to be to Lowe's. Buying extremely expensive machines can be a bit nerve wracking along with anticipating the delivery and set up. All that worry disappeared as soon as they arrived! They were knowledgeable about the machines, put the pedestals together easy peasy, they put both machines in a VERY tight fitting space without a single tiny scratch! They took their time to make sure they were connected and running correctly and did it all with very friendly smiles and even cracked a few jokes along the way that got a good laugh from me! They both had top notch customer service skills. They definitely deserve a ton of praise! Bravo on having these 2 on your team Home Depot!

Two years ago, I rated them 4, but not this time…read more First and foremost, what they sell is absolute junk. In my earlier review I noted having my warranty furniture replaced. Make sure you get the warranty, because you are going to need it. My first piece I bought from them was a 3500 power sectional. I replaced it under warranty because the motors went out. It took over a year to get the issue resolved. I finally had to get it replaced completely. I replaced it with another piece, a $2,000 power sofa. The sofa motors have stopped working. I purchased a protection plan, and all I need is the invoice number from my purchase. Unfortunately those documents were destroyed. Now, this brings me to Debra. Debra thinks this is all hilarious. Debra thinks that she should laugh in the customer's face. Debra thinks it's funny to humiliate someone. Debra thinks trauma is hilarious. Not that is any concern of Debra's, but the documents of mine were destroyed when my mother's home was destroyed in a fire. Debra thinks homeowners should cover furniture that wasn't affected. Debra thinks insurance fraud is funny, too. Debra cares about her sales. Debra was also rude in person to my partner and me two years ago. Debra was the reason I didn't give them five in the first place. It appears you shouldn't expect much more out of Debra. Regardless, I was told by the district manager and Billy, you'll get to know Billy, with promises upon promises upon promises and no action from American freight Corporate. American Freight Corporate has taken absolutely no action in helping me. Don't think you're going to contact them either. Contacting them as an endless loop. They don't care about the customer. They can't help you, and they damned sure won't try - especially that "lovely" Debra (I won't be nasty like Debra - Debra knows how I feel, but I think Corporate needs to know, too). I hope the district manager is reading this one for sure. Got to give it to Billy... he would help if he could. But Debra is a horrible, terrible, nasty person and should be fired immediately.

This is an outstanding facility that is so good that people from outside of Saline County join…read more What you'll find at the Benton Gun Club are plenty of ranges for everything from shotguns to long-range rifles and everything in between. The facilities are very safe and well policed by members to keep any mishaps from happening. For example, it is within the rules of the Benton Gun Club that all members will make sure to put up all weapons when someone announces they are going to go downrange to put up targets. No one is to touch a weapon when someone is downrange and violating that rule can get you tossed out of the gun club. Furthermore, members are expected to sweep up their brass, strictly observe firearms safety rules and generally do what they must to keep the facility safe. And, there are also plenty of shooting competitions that go on at the range if you like that kind of thing. A schedule of competitions is maintained at the Benton Gun Club Website and entry fees are cheap. In fact, membership is cheap -- $75 a year and you can bring guests. In my family, that means $75 covers my wife and me, our kids and a friend or two that wants to check out the Gun Club. Members get their own key to the range gate, can access the range 24-hours a day and have around eight ranges to choose from. So, why only four stars? Because you have to be a member of the NRA to join. I don't like lobbies one bit, even if it is one I generally agree with. Being forced to join the NRA rubs me the wrong way, but I still maintain my membership because the range is fantastic. Also, joining is kind of a hassle. You have to go to a meeting at a funeral home in downtown Benton (no, I am NOT kidding), pay a $100 range maintenance fee and go through an orientation before you can be considered for membership. That is all a hassle, but I suppose it's worth it because the folks who run the range want everyone to know they are serious. All in all, this is a great facility for Saline County. Any gun enthusiast wanting a safe place to shoot should consider joining.
