We were a group of 6 and got their combo menu for 5-6 people. It was the right amount of food for us. It also included drinks, soup base and sauce bar. There was a great variety, and the ingredients were fresh. They do not have AYCE option here. There is a sauce bar and the side dishes (kimchi and cucumber salad) plus fruit (cherries) are unlimited. The service was really good. The table for our group of 6 was a bit tight but they have semi-private spaces for larger group. The restrooms were individual stalls and fairly clean. We came on a Tuesday evening and the place was busy. We made a reservation online a few hours in advance.

Not sure if this place has any relation to the Liuyishou Hotpot chain but looks like it's pretty legit. They have a membership plan that you can sign up for & gives discounts off your meal price. We didn't inquire more about the membership since we aren't locals & don't know when the next time we'll be back haha. Broth is ~€14, regardless of whether you decide to get one singular broth, two split broths, or if you were to get 4 different broths. It is about €4-5 if you opt for the individual hotpots. Ordering is done via QR code assigned to each table, & can order drinks from CoCo Bubble Tea from QR Code, as well. We ordered two drinks from Coco & they brought the drinks over to us from down the st. We ordered the angus beef, sirloin, lamb, quail eggs, enoki mushroom, veggie set, fish, roe bag fish balls, and more. For broths, we did four: pork bone, chicken, golden, & tomato. My favorite was the chicken broth! They also have a sauce bar for €1.80/pp. Our meal total was supposed to be ~€150, but they applied a discount in which the final total was €116! We ended up ordering an extra two plates of meat & we were able to take it to go. We cooked the rest of it there & it is €0.20 per container. Overall, not too shabby meal! It ended up being a lot better than I expected. I would come back again ;) Staff was very kind and helpful.

Finding gluten-free Chinese food is next to impossible, so when I found out about Out of China, I…read morehad to visit during my trip to Barcelona! Most of the menu already is or can be adapted to be gluten-free. All ordering is via a QR code at your table, and you must connect to their WiFi in order for it to work (Mobile Data not allowed!), the online ordering was easy and had an allergen/notes option, it also automatically recorded my table number so there was no scrambling trying to find that. It also had an English language option. I ordered the King Pao Chicken with some meatballs and rice, the portion sizes were large, and I would say that this is the ideal place to come as a group, and order multiple dishes to try. The food came out very quickly after ordering. I was also given a soy sauce for my table but was not advised if this was gluten-free or not. The chicken was really good and tasty, with good quality meat and veggies. It was advised as spicy, but I didn't get any spice at all. I still enjoyed it though but would have liked it to have more of a kick. The beef meatballs were really good, and the sauce was nice, they were big and tasty, although I wasn't a huge fan of the mushrooms. They were also piping hot. The rice was poor, it was stuck together and didn't taste good at all. For my drink, I had their fresh lemon iced tea, this was fairly nice and I ended up ordering another. The interior looked good, but the chairs weren't particularly comfortable. Chopsticks were provided by default but the staff were happy to provide me with a knife and fork on request. 4* - Many positives for sure, being able to get gluten-free Chinese food alone is rare, let alone when it's pretty good too!

And I must say, one of the better Chinese restaurants I've eaten- the spicy wonton has an amazing sauce much different from the USA version. Asian problem- I need some fresh jasmine rice after how many days of Spanish food. The owner has the best English for a Chinese person- they really do cater to the tourist. Service is excellent. You order thru an app on you phone- food comes out pretty quickly. Dimsum late night is awesome!!!

After we walked to three restaurants not very far from our hotel, but all closed for holiday! We remember we saw Chao Zhou was open the day before on Sunday. So we designed to give them a try. We are very happy to found out they are open for dinner! Later we found out they are not open for lunch time on Sunday and Monday! I don't have a big hope after we tried another Chinese restaurant few days ago in the island city, Tenerife, Spain. We have a table inside the back dinning room section of the restaurant. It is very quiet before a tour bus drop off a lots of customer here. Fortunately, we ordered our foods before the tour bus arrive! We ordered Brine Duck, Stir Fry Water Spinach (tong-choy), Ginger Spring Onion Fried Crab, and a Cantonese Style Claypot Rice with Lap Cheong. Oh boy! They are so delicious! I cannot believe we can found a Chinese restaurant in Spain even better than most of the restaurants in California or some restaurants in Hong Kong! Another good thing about Chao Zhou is their excellent service. Everyone in Chao Zhou is working hard to take care the customer. Yes! I know, it is not very normal for Chinese restaurant! But they did, they have good customer service! Specially, our waitress, Yan ( 燕 ), she is go above and beyond to gave us the best service even when they are supply busy! Good foods and excellent service in a Chinese restaurant! Where you can find this. The answer is Chao Zhou in Barcelona, Spain!
