Amazing restaurant which we stumbled onto by mistake and had a most amazing and delicious meal Lovely dim sum selection. Interesting wine list and most amazing Peking duck which I can still taste in my mouth Quiet atmosphere and smiling service. I'd super recommend this place.

Very nice decoration.

Very good food. Beef thin noodles, pork soup, and pork sweet and sour!! Very good service. The restaurant is calm and clean, with very nice ambience!! Very good price!! More than recommended.

If you like Chinese food , great dinning environment and amazing service, come here . No more explanation needed. My GF and I live in the States and I only hope we can find this kind of restaurant in The US because comparing to Melojia basically all the American Chinese Restaurants are just .... bad bad bad .

This is more like a 3.5 since the food was not as flavorful and authentic as what I'm used to. However, if you are like us and are craving Asian food while on your Spain trip, I would say give this place a try. It's cute and clean inside and they have English menus. Service was good, they do add 10% service charge. The shanghai dumplings were too thick, but did the job. The eggplant was pretty good, and the stir fry noodles was just okay.

Spring rolls, fried rice and Mango Ximilu

Came back after a year and the whole menu was updated, with more great options and very simplistic and elegant design. The table setting also changed to better. Food was still amazing. Ordered 3 dishes (fried rice, chicken, and beans) plus 2 spring rolls, tea, and dessert (ximilu). All together only 25€... such an amazing deal! After coming back from the States where dishes are extremely greasy and salty, where service is not even half as good, and where you have to pay at least 40-50 bucks for a meal like this one, I'm more than happy to always come back to Melo Jia. Waiters and owner recognized us after a year and came hug us... VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

It's a pleasant looking location with the same helpful and friendly servers as we're here on my last visit. Sandra and I started out with the shu mai and onto the seafood hot and sour soup which was flavorful and light without being overwhelming. The soup was excellent. Main course we had the roasted duck and the Cantonese fried rice. The duck was extremely tasty and delicious. The duck was accompanied by an orange soy sauce that gave hints of duck ala orange which again gave a very light zest to the duck without being overpowering. We enjoyed the fried rice which had shrimp in the recipe. The only drawback was I would have enjoyed roast pork in it as well but all in all it was still an enjoyable dish. For desert we had the fried chocolate wantons which we very unique and delicious especially accompanied by a raspberry dipping sauce as raspberries always compliment chocolate. I really recommend trying this restaurant if you are in Barcelona. I know I'll be back again next year.

Great atmosphere and service.... delicious food. My husband was hungry for some dim sum and they had it! We also ordered Peking duck which was also delicious! A great Chinese food choice in Barcelona.
