I did not expect this place and their food to be the way they are. For being in the middle of Barcelona, they're very traditional Chinese food and delicious too!
I don't think you can really go wrong ordering anything here given what I've tasted.
I got their grilled prawns and grilled fish tofu. Both were deliciously seasoned and cooked. The prawns were pretty damn small but they were also only €1.2 each skewer.
Two anorexic prawns per skewer and 4 tofu per stick.
Also ordered the fried chicken, I don't know the name of it in English but Spanish is- Pollo Picante - and that's pretty good too except that the chicken were cut smaller than I'm used to. They're.. surprisingly not as greasy as one would expect, considering how oily the cauliflower was.
The cauliflower (whole dish) was also delicious. You can't really go wrong with cauliflower except overcooking it but they did a good job seasoning it. It is too greasy for my taste though. But still good. Or maybe I was just really hungry that night.
Tofu dish (also don't know it in English)- Spanish - Toufu El Estilo Casero - was good too. Came with a bunch of sautéed onions and bell pepper. Good flavor and good sauce. Reminds me of Taiwan.
Everything was very very well priced for the portion. If I lived here, I probably would come here more and try their giant-as$ Noodle. The bowl, I snuck a peak, was HUGE.
Anyways, it's not the best food I've ever had but it's the best Chinese/Taiwanese food I've had outside of California and Asia. But then again, I haven't really wanted to eat or seek out Asian food when I'm traveling so.. don't etch my words in stone just yet.
Above all, the price is what really impressed me. I'm sure there's cheaper food here but for this kind of touristy area.. they deserve a 5 star rating.
