After three weeks in Europe (mostly Spain), we were craving something international, so we went…read morewith this Chinese restaurant. The menu was quite large, and all the food surpassed our expectations. Yummy shrimp dumplings, and a flavorful (if not very spicy) Ma Po Tofu was a hit, as was the pineapple chicken. The service was friendly and all quite affordable. Highly recommend.

I ordered it muy picante. Con Sabor! Loved it so much! Fried Rice Macao: with shrimp, beef, octopus, and veggies. Not greasy and flavorful. Vermicelli with 3 delicacies: The thin glass noodles need to be eaten quickly as they get mushy and soggy quickly. Lightly seasoned and couldn't stop eating it. Delicious! Beef in Oyster sauce: a little too salty but nice beef slices with squash and onions. Very similar to a mongolian beef style! Sweet & Sour Pork: Fried light and crunchy and topped with diced onions and pineapples. Cooked well but the sauce could have been sweeter for my liking. Our server Laura was great. They deliver but not during peak hours which is understandable. We Asians need a break from delicious tapas. Macao will be one of those places where we recharge to satisfy those cravings =) We will be back!

The dishes are not delicately decorated, but it is exactly why it wins my heart: the home style cooking! All the ingredients are fresh without the excessive artificial flavor. I love their beef noodle soup because the noodle is made after the order so it's really chewy and fresh. They also have a set menu consisting of soup, salad/spring roll and fried rice/fried noodle for only €5.50 throughout the whole day. If you are craving for some fresh homemade cooking Asian dishes, this is the place for you!

I would give it a 0 rating but I can't. To start off the waitress was rude the entire time while…read moreordering, she kept on cutting me off and answering back very rudely. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was salty, I could taste the fish sauce and peanut sauce. Trust me I live in the bay area and I know what Thai food is supposed to taste like. Out of the 6 plates we ordered we didn't touch 5 of them, we only touched the fried rice because my kids were hungry. I explained the dad I wasn't going to pay for the untouched plates and he got furious. Started yelling and slamming the tables. I'm not sure if these "Chinese" owners even know how to cook Thai food. They should stick to maybe making chow mein, or just stop cooking!!!
