I had an injury on my toe and made an appointment with Dr Conforti. I am so glad I did. The staff is very friendly. They were able to get me in same day due to the injury on my toe. When I arrived everything was easy and efficient. They do have an X-ray machine on hand which was helpful to be able to make sure my toe wasn't broken. I had a lot of blood built up which was causing a lot of pain in my toe and he was able to drain it out there there and then and nearly immediately started to feel relief. I am so excited to tell you about this podiatrist!! He is definitely the one you need to go to if you have any foot or ankle issues! I had an ingrown toenail situation and those of you who have had this issue know how much it hurts. Well, he had to deal with me, being psychologically damaged from dealing with my previous podiatrist who made me feel like I was having three babies at the same time!! Yes!! After visiting 2 local Podiatrists in my area I had no relief, was told to stay off, ice and rest. Nothing changed. I reached out to Dr. Conforti's office and got an immediate appointment. They were courteous, and pleasant and made the signing in effortless. I saw Dr. Conforti right away and he took his time asking me questions and making me feel comfortable. We did some x rays and and he read them right in front of me. He came to a possible diagnosis but needs to be confirmed by a MRI. His staff helped me set that up. I walked away feeling some relief knowing there was something that needed to be addressed. I can't wait to go back and get some more answers and hopefully some treatment so I can feel better ! I have been to Dr. Conforti 3-4 times now. There is really nothing worse than foot pain! And, there is nothing better than finding a doctor who knows exactly what's wrong with you and treats you expediently. Dr. Conforti is knowledgeable with a happy, pleasant demeanor. I recently went through treatment for plantar fasciitis and an ingrown toenail. I loathe needles, but Dr. Conforti got me through each procedure feeling confident that soon my pain would subside. Good doctors that don't gaslight you or speak in a condescending tone are hard to find! My partner and I went to this doctor for a second opinon, as I held her hand the doctor entered and stared at me. He said hello to both of us and preceeded to only make eye contact and speak to my partner. When I asked a question, I was asked who I was in relation, he then answered the ques and went back to only making eye contact with her only. He assumed (incorrectly) where the pain was and precceeded to push harder until she said, "yes that hurts but not as badly as the tendon." After observing how she walks he took her shoe and suggested she wear padded heels. He ripped the sole out of the sneaker, which was intact as u could hear the tearing and said, "these come out, you can place it underneath." I work in the medical field and although you want to be careful of what you say due to HIPPA I was in the room because she wanted me to know first hand what was being discussed. A good doctor knows patients get nervous and forget to mention things or at times dont mention things not realizing its important knowledge. A good doctor acknowledges the whole room shifting eye contact so all feel involved. A good doctor would also send the script to the right pharmacy! After repeatedly telling his medical technician what pharmacy we use he sent it to the wrong place. We tell him that was updated with his tech and so he resends it after checking 3 more times and STILL the wrong place!! We left feeling discouraged as it seemed he was more interested in our connection then doing his job. As we left not one person said goodbye or "tried" to set up a 2nd appointment. Is this what the medical field is becoming? Doctors that don't listen but tell you where the pain is in your own body? Thanks Doctor for making an already painful situation even worse! read more

I agree with the previous reviewer. This doctor has no bedside manners. I had a toenail infection and he put on his gloves and nearly touch me as if he never seen this condition before seriously. And not any better on the second visit when he said Oh looks like you got some sun and I said yes a little but then he proceeded to point out saying to me "well what is that other thing on your face" I touched my face and it wa that my blush wasn't blended in and I didnt realize it". Just the way he said it was rude and condescending manner". Listen up young Dr. You get paid to see patients so get a grip and act as if you are one. Rude Dude. read more

I had a small bunion on my foot and crooked toes that I was led to believe could be straightened with surgery. I booked my appointment with the local surgical center and Conforti joked that he'd never done this surgery before and he'd just watched how to do it on youtube. Ha ha - I thought he was trying to make me comfortable with humor at the time - until I woke up after being given anesthesia intravenously with NO ONE in the room on an OPERATING TABLE and a sheet drawn across me, etc. I have extremely poor vision (I can't see the big E on the test) so this makes it even scarier for me, since I obviously am not wearing contacts or glasses because I'm in the middle of surgery. I eventually started yelling and screaming and finally someone comes in (presumably the anesthesiologist) and has the nerve to ask me "What's wrong?". My very reasonable answer was "I am awake" His response was that the surgery was ALMOST finished....no one else was in the room. Were they all out on a smoke break? SO, the anesthesiologist asks me "What's the problem?" - my response was "I AM AWAKE" - he goes on to ask "Do you NOT want to be awake? The surgery is almost over." - I say "NO - I DO NOT WANT TO BE AWAKE". Isn't the point of going under anesthesia to not be awake for the surgery? So, he gives me more anesthesia, but then I guess I was too sleepy for too long because Conforti had my husband and I exit out of the BACK DOOR of the surgical center and HOP to the car with no assistance - the anesthesia was DEFINITELY not out of my system at all. I was still totally out of it and Conforti knew it but he literally made us leave through a back door and didn't even give me a wheelchair. Then there's the aftercare - minus the care part. He told me that I didn't need physical therapy and my foot would heal on its own just from walking. That didn't work out. My foot is now WORSE than it was before he operated on it. After speaking with others who are familiar with this surgery it does not appear that Conforti is qualified to perform certain procedures, including the one that he performed on me. What kind of doctor allows their patient to be left COMPLETELY alone on an operating table and shoves them out of the back door??? The best part is that I only inquired about my minor bunion because I took my son to see Conforti to have plantar warts removed from my son's heels. Otherwise, I never would have sought out any surgical remedies for my feet. I really don't think that Conforti is qualified to perform surgeries and I just happened to fall in to his lap and my surgery was just some fun experiment for him. After writing all of this and revisiting everything that happened I am seriously grateful that I am still alive and survived that mess. I would actually do no stars but there is no option for that. I went to Dr. Conforti for a routine (that's what he called it) ingrown toe nail on both sides. He operated on it on my lunch hour and that was 5 weeks ago. I have a bad infection - and have now been on 4 antibiotics already with not much change. His bedside manner is very condescending and cocky - he tried to tell me that everyone else he has done this on is fine. It's just how my body reacted to the chemical!!! NOT! I think he made a terrible mistake on my toe and I am very scared about the fact it is not healing. I have gone to another doctor to try to get relief. I rarely write a review but I did want to share my experience with this doctor because I think it is warranted. I visited the office several months ago because I wanted to get a pair of custom-made orthotics. I had two visits to the office and this is how they went. Appointment #1: After a quick introduction by the doctor (I had never met him), Conforti did not initially ask me why I was there, but instead went on to talk about how he received a negative review by a patient on a review site, I AM NOT KIDDING! I had to listen to him complain about every detail of the poor review, remember, I have never met this guy and I was like WTF??? Once he finished, he then finally asked me why I was there. After explaining my condition and a quick look, he said that I was a good candidate for the custom-made orthotics and that I needed them to prevent long-term issues. I told him I already spoke with my insurance company and that he would need to provide a justification letter in order for the orthotics to be covered. He said "no problem" and he knew exactly what that the justification letter required. I scheduled my folllow-up appointment and was on my way. Appointment #2: Arrived at the office and was ready for my orthotics. I reminded Conforti I was there for my orthotics and told him that I would need the justification letter since the office did not yet provide it to my insurance company. He acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and that he did not know anything about a justification letter. I was completely flabbergasted and kicked myself for ever going back there after his behavior during my first appointment. The shock quickly turned to outrage knowing I would get stuck with a large bill for the orthotics. If I could give this doctor zero stars I would but it was not an option. I found the doctor shady, very unprofessional and would NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO FRIENDS OR COLLEAGUES. read more

Dr. Conforti is a good doctor however he needs to work on his bedside manors. He's cocky; which I don't mind because he's very sound medically. But like I said, he is condescending at times and not very thorough. First time I went to him; I thought he was joking around but the second time he was in a horrible mood and I realized its just his personality. read more

One of the most unprofessional experiences I had ever dealt with. I am a returning client who will never go back to Dr. Conforti's office again. My appointment had been set up a month in advance and we let the office know what my insurance company was. They said to confirm with the company that we would be covered and we did. Everything was set up so we proceeded with the appt. The day of the appt I have to wait an hour to be called in, and then another half hour before Dr. Conforti comes in. He does not even have on file that I am a previous patient. He tells me I have to wait more because they would need to call my insurance to confirm that I would be covered. He comes back in and says that he can't get a hold of my insurance company and that I would have to wait even longer. I then decided to leave because as a person of business I have clients to attend too. He and his team should have done their job correct and confirm with insurance before they have a patient come in, sign agreements, give a co-pay, fill out paper work, and waste their time. After I leave my insurance calls me to re confirmed with me that I am covered. Not only did they loose a previous patient but also one that would of been a potential patient for life. My 9 year old daughter went for the first time a year ago. After her ballet shoes bothered her. Pain escalated up ankles towards knees: This after two months of no ballet classes! I knew something was wrong. Looking for a doctor with experience and of great reputation I selected Dr.Conforti. He was so charismatic with my daughter and really took the time to listen to her and diagnosed her arch dropping. I never noticed I'm not a specialist. She was fitted for arches and pain ceased to exist. We recently went and we resized her for this year and we found out she had a wart instead of a splinter. My daughter was made to feel comfortable and confident in the care of the doctor as it was removed. You will not be disappointed and staff is welcoming. Office is clean and easy to park. I will continue to drive twenty minutes to go consult with him. Thank you my daughters ability to run and play without difficulties means a lot to me. read more
