I didn't get his name, but the assistant who got my information and hx was amazing. He made small gestures/small talk that made all the difference while I sat there nervous about the outcome of my ankle. I saw Dr. Schmidl. He had the best bed-side manners out of all of the doctors I had seen in the past year for numerous things (& I've seen a lot). He listened to my concerns, validated my feelings, and reassured my recovery. He didn't push any treatments, therapy, accessories... Between his assistant, myself, and Dr. Schmidl, we laughed during my appointment which took a lot of the edge off. Who knew going to the doctor would be fun A week post my appointment I'm doing much better. Still now 100% but I'm getting there. Well I took a shower and it was soft and ended up removing it myself. Now I finally have a healthy nail back after 20 years from a nail sitting underneath the whole time. I even expressed I wanted half orthopedic pads, but ordered full length which did not work at all because it pushed my feet outside my sneakers. Please don't become a doctor if you truly don't care. Since I needed to see a doctor as soon as possible I was worried I'd have to wait days for an appointment. I was very happy when they offered to see me immediately considering my injury. The staff is incredibly friendly and understanding. They actually get to know you! Each time I visited the office (weekly) I felt like family. Dr. Caputo is charismatic, professional but friendly, humorous and engaging. He wants only the best for his patients. He ensured I was at ease and completely understood the extent of my injury. From the minute I entered the office I was welcomed by a very polite front desk girl. They answered my questions as far as payments and stuff with no hesitation, and respectful.
