My doctor and nurses are very thorough in their questions, they listen to my concerns and address them, and they provide me with clear information regarding test results and any inquiries I may have. I was just there and I'm thinking about stepping into the vision office and the dentistry office to see what they have going on. Nothing like having all of my orifices satisfied in one spot.

I have been a patient at Ponderosa Family Physicians for almost two decades, and for much of that time I was deeply grateful for the care I received. In 2016, Dr. Draper diagnosed my melanoma early enough that I was able to have it removed and become cancer free. For that, I will always be thankful. They also monitored my thyroid condition for over 10 years, and I placed significant trust in them with my ongoing health. When I changed insurance carriers and learned Ponderosa was no longer in-network, I personally contacted my insurance company and arranged to have them added so I could continue my care there. After receiving written approval, I brought the documentation directly to the office, believing that nearly two decades of loyalty and history would matter. Instead, I was sternly told I could no longer remain a patient. I asked to speak with the office manager, Steve Elliott, and was told he would call me. That was two weeks ago, and I have not received any follow-up. When I have called since, I'm told that because I am "no longer a patient," they cannot transfer my call or assist me in any way. After almost 20 years, the lack of communication and compassion has been deeply painful. It's unsettling to suddenly feel dismissed by a practice you trusted with your life. I now find myself searching for a new primary care physician -- someone who will see me as a person, not simply as an account status. I share this experience because long-term patients deserve TO BE TREATED LIKE AN INDIVIDUAL, A PERSON AND NOT A NUMBER with communication, respect, and basic follow-through. I sincerely hope others are treated with more consideration than I was.

After a week, I found out that the person that I'd left the paperwork with has never given it to the doctor and no one could find it. I reprinted and dropped off form again. When I received the completed, some information was missing that needed to be included. I asked for a letter to be written and what the letter needed to say to fill in the gaps that were not covered in the form. Instead of doing as I asked, I was given a newly dated copy of a letter that I'd previously been given that didn't provide the needed information. I stressed to everyone that I spoke with regarding this matter why it was so important and the timeframe which I had to work within. I never received what I needed. They are all very nice people, my impression now is that they don't care. This matter was very important to me, but I don't feel that I as a patient, or a customer matter to them. I went to the doctor because I was not feeling well. I didn't need this in top of already being sick.

On the two visits I've had, I had the opportunity to have had both doctors and they are both great doctors. I have recommended this office to my family.

He has always had an answer for every question I've asked. He knows what he's doing. He is exactly as confident as he should be. Dr. Herron is professional, respectful, and attentive to patient needs. He explains the range of available options and treatments with as much detail--or simplicity--as is appropriate for the situation. His explanations are neutral yet comprehensive, covering potential side effects, expected timelines, follow-up schedules, and cost considerations. I have always felt empowered to make informed decisions about my health based on the information and guidance he provides. At no time have I felt pressured into pursuing unnecessary or "add-on" services. I disagree with the negative reviews I've read here, and find them to be quite inappropriate. It makes sense that compounded services could produce better results; it can be expected for the price to go up. These are medical services, not McDoubles. The clinic's prices are fair. The staff provides a comfortable and relaxed environment. They may be a little giggly, but they're beautiful! Plus, they have great snacks. 5 stars. Make an appointment, see for yourself.
