The day of my facial I was rear ended on the freeway literally on my way to the appointment, so I called her to cancel, still shaking from the accident (both cars were totaled) but apologetic that I had to cancel so last minute. She wasn't very sympathetic even though I was audibly tearful, but whatever she's not my mom, I don't need warm and fuzzy. When I called to reschedule after things had resolved with the accident she had no upcoming availability and made no attempt to accommodate me. Fine, she doesn't know me, for all she knows I made the whole thing up. I rescheduled for 5 weeks later, the earliest availability. She said she'd put me on a cancellation list, and in the 5 weeks I received no call. Today, the day of my appointment, she texted to tell me she was cancelling citing broken equipment. She instructed me to rebook online, and what do you know, no openings for another month. I texted her, inquiring if there was any way I could get in sooner since my first appointment over 2 months ago at this point also had to be cancelled due to the accident. She again offered the cancellation list and referred me back to her online scheduler. At this point there have been multiple good faith assumptions on my part and I'm very disappointed she made no attempt to accommodate me. I feel like she doesn't want my business. Maybe because I purchased a Groupon, maybe because of my completely unavoidable first reschedule, I dunno. In any case I requested a refund from Groupon and applied it to another aesthetician who was happy to book me. These Groupons offer an immediate cash pile to people - maybe ensuring they can't book means you never have to provide a service? In any case, buyer beware.

I'm absolutely obsessed with pretty lashes so I'd always wear fake ones (because mine were short, sparse, blonde and stick straight - the combo from hell.) On my first visit I told her about the serum I had just started using, she advised me that I could bump up my usage of it, and oh my gosh! Within a few weeks they were drastically thicker and longer. The results have amazed me. Paired with my lift/tint, they absolutely look better than ever and I don't even wear my falsies anymore! Which is a big deal for me haha. (I've considered lash extensions but the maintenance really doesn't fit with my lifestyle so this is undoubtedly the next best thing!)
