Both Sydney and the person working the front desk were extremely nice and friendly; offered me tea/coffee/water, took my coat, etc. and made me feel welcome. Sydney introduced herself and after a quick consultation, she got right to work, starting with a relaxing scalp massage. Throughout the cut, Sydney was extremely professional and efficient. She asked for my preference in shampoo and styling gel (I don't like the men's line Aveda has) and used all of my favorites. I'll definitely book again with Sydney based on my experience yesterday.

The first time I went, I did one streak of highlight called a flash highlight (over 200$) to test the waters and it turned out great, so I came back expecting the same quality. This time was completely different. Paige double-booked another client and had her assistant handle most of my appointment. The assistant was extremely rough while washing my hair even after I repeatedly asked her to be gentle. She seemed annoyed that I said something and actually handed me the brush and said "do you want to brush it?" I shouldn't have to explain the same thing twice to her assistant when I already paid for a consultation to make sure this wouldn't happen. Paige barely checked in, didn't review my foils before they were rinsed, and my hair came out yellow and orange instead of the cool blonde I asked for. I didn't even get to choose the toner or discuss the results before being told by the assistant to pay. I also asked for thicker highlights and ended up with baby lights that looked uneven in tone. I walked out in tears and paid $265 for results that look like I used a bottle of Sun-In at home. I'm beyond frustrated and will not be going back. Letting an inexperienced assistant take over while charging full price is completely unacceptable.

I connected with Aimee after months of following her (and many others), and I'm proud to say that I had my eyebrows done by her! Today was my first color re-touch after completing my Microblading appointment almost 12-13 months ago. My eyebrows held up beautifully for this time as an active professional who loves face creams, masks, and exfoliating (careful to avoid my brows). I really only started to notice fade where I had to fill around month 9-10, but I do boot camp daily, and hot yoga several times a week, so these brows were (and still are) bangin! I was so happy to go in today and get my color retouch done in less than 90 minutes and Aimee remembered exactly how I like my brows, what good colors work with my skin tone, and is a wonderfully intelligent woman to have a nice conversation with during your appointment.
