I had booked a French pedicure with Summer and instead today I received pink, thick and messy paint on my toes( see photo). She was unable to properly cut my toe nails or remove cuticle ("we don't do that here"), and didn't remove dead skin from feet and left the end of the large toenails rough. She also didn't know how to put white on tips (which would never have worked over the thick paint anyway). It took 40 minutes including some soaking time at the beginning. Cost was $35 without a tip. Entire waste of my time. Now, I have to go get another pedicure elsewhere today. People were nice... just not qualified for doing pedicures. Please stick to hair services or learn proper pedicure processes.

Once seated, I took a look at the brochure that disclosed prices. I was in for a perm. It said "$75+". I've been getting perks for the better part of 15 years and this is what I am accustomed to paying. Usually around $80. I've even paid $90 at high end salons in Atlanta. The hairdresser was fantastic. Kind, funny, and chatty. I showed her a photo of the perm style I was looking for and she began. I was there about 2 hours. That's the norm. When I checked out I asked for a recommendation on a good shampoo and left with one I love. (Try Loma, you won't regret it) however, when I was checked out the total was $175!!! One hundred dollars more than what's disclosed in the salon brochure. I have paper thin, chin length hair so I was shocked. I didn't question the total there because the hairdresser was so awesome but after speaking with other stylists and friends and neighbors, they encouraged me to review such a discrepancy in the price. Maybe the shampoo was $100? I still have sticker shock 2 weeks later. I've never paid even close to that price so I was appalled. For this reason I did not recommend the salon to friends or neighbors and can't recommend on yelp. There's a host of salons in this area (excellent ones) that seem to be more upfront and honest in their pricing.

Either the top was spot on but the fade sucked or the fade was perfect and the top was an absolute hack job. This year I started getting my hair cut and styled by Caleb at Covenant. Caleb is able to do the perfect mix of a stellar fade and top styling. He is patient, respectful and listens really well. The salon is in a great location and is really nice inside. Everyone I have met that works there is friendly and it seems like they all get along well. I highly recommend Caleb and Covenant in general.

Truly unbelievable, the lack of sympathy was simply astounding! I did have some cancellations but explained the situation and thought some grace and compassion would be extended to me during an actual life and death situation with my father. I was told previously if your account ever got flagged for short notice cancellations, you would simply be required to put down a deposit towards future appts which seemed perfectly reasonable to me. My stylist explained if you cancel with short notice again or have a no show, then you will forfeit your deposit (again this would have been perfectly understandable). After several emails back and forth with the owner, she explained that she felt the "cancellations would continue to happen" to which I responded how/why would you think that when I explained the situation and that my father is DEAD now?! I started going to this salon in 2020 and have spent a lot of money there. I've had just about every service offered including hair dyes (one of which was so awful it had to be corrected but not before the stylist tried to convince me it looked good when I asked for dark brown and came out looking like Morticia Adams). I will give credit where credit is due, I obviously was pleased with some of the services but thought others should know you will be told one thing regarding their cancellation policy and then afforded zero grace, compassion or empathy if you have to cancel for an actual life and death emergency situation.
