This was my first time at this store and I was blown away! I was expecting to walk into a bakery with mostly cookies and maybe some cupcakes. I didn't expect to see so many different products! Confetti Sweets had a Confetti Collective Christmas Market during my visit. A wide variety of products from more than 40 local vendors and businesses were for sale. Most of these local products were displayed upstairs on the second floor. What a excellent way to support local, especially when small businesses have been struggling during the pandemic. This is a great place to buy some holiday gifts. I spent a lot more time in the store than I had anticipated. Today, I bought a dozen Confetti Sweets cookies in the following flavours: Chocolate Candy Cane, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Gingersnap and a Jam Thumbprint cookie. I also grabbed a couple bags of Eggnog flavoured Kick Ass Caramels and a bag of Maple Walnut Brittle. In the past, I bought Confetti Sweets cookies from our local Farmers Markets. I know their cookies are delicious. However, coming to this store was pleasant surprise! It was so much more than just a bakery! What a sweet way to support local!

Ok I came here on a whim since I was in the area for an in-store pickup. It's actually not too far from Sherwood park Costco, so pretty easy to find. TBH, I was expecting a basic bakery, but I was so unprepared...there was sooo much stuff to buy... I got overwhelmed quite easily (in a good way cuz now it means I have to come back to browse more). The decorator cookie kits and the cookie mixes packets seemed very enticing to do with my kids, but I am trying to watch my waistline since pandemic, so trying not to overdo it. When I was at farmers markets and catch them there, I'd buy at least a half a dozen cookies pre-pandemic ...they are that good... soft, chewy and fresh and all the flavours are delicious! I didn't realise they sold cupcakes too! I ended up buying a couple cupcakes and I'm glad they are individually packaged since one was meant as a door drop off for my dad. The mini cookie or chocolate that they add on the cupcake icing actually helps hold the cupcake in place and it looked perfect when it came time to eat it despite being jostled around in my car all morning. My kids gobbled up the cookie despite one kid being a cookie hater. The red velvet cupcake was amazing. I couldn't stop myself from eating the whole thing in one sitting: decadent, moist, tender, and not too sweet... and now I want more just writing about it. Maybe I'll go with a dozen mini cupcakes for smaller doses of goodness to share with the family for next round. Side note: I super appreciate that there was feature products from local farmer market vendors that I recognised and have been missing this past year. Glad I could get my fix here too!

First and foremost... as soon as you walk in , your nose is overloaded with the smell of freshly baked goodies.. OMG !!! It smells amazing in there. In a way, I could not work there because I would be eating a cookie every 20 minutes or so. This is not your typical cookie bakery. There is a great variety of food - from frozen pizzas to pastas, sauces and more goodies than you can possibly imagine. I walked around for about 5 minutes looking at the cookies and the layout of the store.. it has a great appeal . What amazes me is the story of how it all started. From baking cookies at home for the farmer's market to being featured at the Oscars - really !!! In 2014 she supplied the Canadian Country Music Awards and a year later at the Oscars in Hollywood. I bought a dozen of my favorite - gingersnaps, shortbread and chocolate chip ( with crumpled up candy canes mixed in ). The second floor features an assortment of christmas decorations and other products. As soon as I left , I could not resist the urge. . My car was smelling like cookies. So I dipped in and ate a gingersnap.... HOLY CRAP !!!! These are amazing !!! I mean I love a good cookie just like the next person .. but these ones are simply heaven ! Soft and very chewy.. perfect ! Unfortunately ( or fortunately .. depending on how you look at it ) I could not eat just one.. three gone by the time I got home. .. It may be a long way to go for cookies but I did get told they have a table at the farmers market by the Costco southside Edmonton ( the employee tried to sign me up for their loyalty card - which I declined ..then she told me about the farmers market.. I will have to think about it ) . Any way.. the store is laid out nicely and very clean everywhere ( I peaked into the baking area ) the staff and owner are amazing .. and best of all... those cookies are damned delicious.

I've gotten their cookies from farmers markets before, but it was the first time seeing the shop! I love that there was small market full of other local goodies at the front of the store and on the second floor. I picked up some dehydrated morel mushrooms from untamed feast and can't wait to try it in risotto! Always great cookies! Perfectly chewy! If you are to try I definitely recommend the coconut and ginger snap cookie!

I was really impressed with how much different stuff is inside this shop! It's far more than just cookies - but don't get me wrong, the cookies are the stars here. The cookies are big and chewy and don't skimp on flavour! I tried the candy cane Christmas feature cookie, as well as their peanut butter choco-chunk. I also bought a package of frozen cookie dough to take home and bake up a delicious batch of gingersnaps. I was well aware of this company as they have products available through Uproot Food Collective, but their store location also sells a variety of the popular Uproot brands, which makes for convenient shopping. This is definitely a great place to stop in and pick up a delectable treat - or a great option if you are looking for a way to mark a special occasion with something other than cake.

Where do I begin!? This bake shop it a wonderful place to stop and shop. They have tons of locally made products that you might recognize from the farmers market. Everything from dips to jewelry. There is even a holiday market up the steps inside the bake shop, everything is locally made so you can get all your gifts in one stop! As far as the bakery they make the most delicious cookies!! I had a sugar cookie with colorful sprinkles, a chocolate chunk peanut butter and a shredded coconut cookie. They were all amazing, chewy and soft with a little crunch on the edges just how the perfect cookie should be. I see they also make cupcakes, and a few other treats. They sell cookie decorating kits so you can take them home for some family fun. Supporting local has never been so delicious!

MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE APPLE FRITTER IN THE ENTIRE SOLAR SYSTEM…read moreI travel quite a bit and I love to try donuts wherever I go. I stumbled upon the Sherwood Park Bakery and built my airport departure around trying something from the shop. [They open at 900 am which is late for me.] When I pulled up, there were about 5 people loosely waiting for the bakery to open. THIS was a good sign. As I walked to the door, 2 others queued up in front of me, but the cashier was familiar and quick with their orders. My go-to donuts are always apple fritters. I saw them on the shelf, but was a bit concerned because it wasn't "knobby" like the ones I've tried at other bakeries. Nonetheless I ordered one and I was surprised! It was still warm, NOT knobby, but the dough was almost like a brioche. There was a sweetness to the smooth texture and a crunchy exterior with just the right amount of glaze. AND, unlike apple fritters in the US, this version had slices of apple which was a welcome change. [The apple bits are usually small cubes down south.] There is no doubt that if ever Edmonton, I would make it a point to return for another apple fritter. AND, judging by what other patrons ordered, the assorted/variety box is a popular choice!

Excellent and well priced donuts and other treats. If you live in Edmonton it is worth the drive.read more

It was so good I went back to the lounge to have another peice when a friend joined me for drinks. Anyway it was so good that I asked the staff where it came from because it did NOT taste like other commercially produced GF crap. We had a surprise party for my mom's birthday yesterday and I purchased 2 cakes from them on Friday. 1 GF Very Berry Cheesecake and the Chocolate Caramel cake for the gluten eaters. They both came presliced with parchment paper between each slice so it made for super easy serving. The cake had 16 portions and the cheesecake had 14. They are in super sturdy cardboard boxes so I never felt once that these cakes would get squashed at anytime. They come frozen but I was told to let them thaw for 2 hours before serving for a whole cake 45 for a slice. I was told if left frozen the cakes would last 10 months in the freezer. Anyway all the guests devoured the cakes. Even though there were only 2 Celiacs the gluten eaters couldn't resist the beautiful cheesecake. I'm not sure if anyone but myself and my aunt knew the cheesecake was GF. I will DEFINITELY BE buying all my birthday/anniversary cakes from them from now on. I didn't feel like I was being left out of the gluten party.

Sounds like their cakes should be ordered before you just stop in. Their cakes are made in house and I would love to check out and get a tour of their facility one day. And their front staff were super lovely and friendly. Plus a bonus is they have their own parking and lots of it! I stopped in for their open house and they had a delicious display and samples available. That sold me on purchasing some of their tasty morsels! Who could resist a festive rum & eggnog cheesecake? They have some super open house special deals so if you need a dessert hit this place up! I got the thrifty cakes, which are the imperfect ones knocked back in price- they taste amazing so I don't mind what they look like! Sampled the carrot cake, which I had heard some raving reviews about, and hot dang they got a good carrot cake! Shredded coconut, pineapple, cream cheese icing! Super drool! I picked up the festive candy cane mouse for my GF friend, which was super lovely to hear that some of their most popular items are gluten free. Not so much available options for the diary intolerant people so be wary of that! But skimming through their book they have some really neat cakes and presentation- like a baklava cake, or the Mayan pyramid cake! Enjoy a sweet treat from Wow! Factor Desserts I know I will definitely be back here again!

I already miss it. While they never successfully had EV charging insofar as I understand it, everything else was good (if pricey) but they couldn't make the business work in the long run so it is no longer there and definitely no longer open.

It's hard to resist all the pastry goodies lined up so pretty at the window so of course we got a few. My personal favourites are the cannoli's. We stopped and had lunch and ordered 2 different pizza's, which came out pretty quickly considered how busy it was. The Margarita pizza $14.00 (tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil) was delicious. The house made pizza dough is cooked perfectly by the way! And we also got the feature pizza. Nice clean bathrooms near the back of the store, plenty of parking out front. It still feels welcoming like the smaller store layouts with how they designed extra areas to display items. Smartly located north of Greenland Garden Centre, the hospital and the newer shopping common in Emerald Drive & Cloverbar Road. Easy to access going on and off Yellowhead from this location and plenty of room for whatever vehicle size you have. Handicap (several stalls) is right up along the building and not mixed amongst other parking spots. I need to applaud the staff. I've always thought the Italian Centre has friendly and helpful staff but tonight they were incredibly thoughtful. For someone like myself that is mobility limited, I use what I know at that time is going to give me the least amount of pain while shopping (that's 9 out of 10 times a shopping basket). Not only did the cashier bag the groceries well enough for me to carry with one hand, but while she was doing that, she asked another to grab me a cart. Both noticing my cane and how many bags I was about to try and carry did that favour before my shopping order was finished being scanned. I was very impressed she went a step further and offered to assist with the remaining groceries I was yet to load when she spotted I was still in the parking lot (colder weather means I move slower). This is definitely a first for me to experience that at an Italian Centre. Greatly appreciated as reaching into the cart for unbagged items is sometimes tricky for me (pumpkin was the culprit tonight). The layout of this place left me feeling impressed from the spacing of the aisles and the thought that went behind allowing extra room where there most likely would be more people gathered waiting (like at the deli). With the amount of items in there, I'm confident there was a lot more specialty items than at other locations. Even the kitchenwares was displayed in a such a way along the windows that I could actually see what was all there (and reach it easier if I did want to buy anything from an assortment of spoons, rolling pins, pans, pasta press, coffee perks and even icing applicators). I wasn't surprised to see they had a very large layout for all the vinaigrette and olive oil but the way it's showcased makes you feel like you're shopping in a wine store but you're definitely not. As directly to the right there's a very large display of cheese rounds attractively lit beside the deli. The deli and bakery counters seem longer than at the other locations (or maybe it's because again it's very well lit in key areas?). Definitely lots of choices for packaged or freshly cut meat and cheeses. The bakery area probably took me the longest in the store. As I needed to narrow down the options (as there's so many wonderful looking desserts!). Spinelli's café that has its own entrance and looks like during this time it is kept separate from the grocery area with the rope barrier. Looks like a generous amount of tables and next time I'll go earlier with the thought to check out that side too. Overall, The store impressed me. It's definitely worth the extra bit of driving time home if you're out that way already for other things or in need of a place to visit friends and grab a good coffee.
