The is a sweet stop, literally! As soon as you open the door the sweet aroma makes your start to salivate and the sugar rush is on! I love the variety of fun other items they carry- definitely vibes of a Makers space with pickled goods, hilarious sponges, take and bake cookie and cake kits, jewelry, and more. A great idea if you're looking to put together a gift and want a one stop shop. We had a hard time deciding between their cookies vs their cupcakes but in the end settled for a 1/2 dozen cupcakes ($24) otherwise it would have been $4.50 per cupcake. Cookies were priced at $2.50 per cookie. I loved the flavours of the cupcakes and am always drawn to the carrot cupcakes with cream cheese icing. But we also tried the Oreo/cookies and cream cupcake, the coconut cupcake with coconut buttercream with cookies and cream cheese icing, the chocolate cupcake with chocolate buttercream, and the red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing. Very moist and rich cupcakes. In the past I've bought the cookies that were pre baked in the freezer section and these were actually also very tasty and a great idea so to with your extra cookies. And I've tried the kits as well and always enjoyed the results. read more

Delicious buttery cookies. Wide assortment of sweet indulgences. Locally made. Fresh. Tasty. I've been a fan of confetti sweets since they started at farmers markets. The cookies are tantalizing and are so buttery they melt in your mouth but don't make that crumbly mess. Thats how you know they make them right! The cookies do not disappoint and are always tasty. The staff are exceptional and so friendly. I really appreciated it, leaving the store happy with a bagful of sweets. What surprised me was the evidence assortment of other items like cupcakes, fudge, brittle, Pinocchio ice cream, frozen cookies, soups, shelf stable snacks and so much more. Walking out was so distracting bc so many items caught my eye. Definetly worth another visit. I love supporting local and this cookie place is the best in edmonton area! Ps. They have the best covid safe facility for a small business. Hand sanitizer is plentiful, mask use and physical distancing made my visit so much less stressful than usual. I didnt pre-order but the staff helped me quickly and efficiently and I was in and out within 1 min.. Epic!!! read more

I love these cookies! I tried the cupcakes for the first time recently and enjoyed them just as much. My favourite cookie flavours are ginger snap and oatmeal chocolate chunk. I've tried all the other ones and many of the feature cookies but I always find my way back to these two. The peanut butter choco-chunk is a close third in my hierarchy. My wife loves the oatmeal raisin so I've tried these as well but I'm always disappointed that the chocolate was replaced with raisins. The store in Sherwood Park is amazing but I usually get my cookies from farmers markets. The cupcakes and so much more are available at the store. Kathy has brought in products from so many different vendors that it's become a mini farmers market. I love the story of this business, how it started from a basement and grown into an international success. Support this local Albertan sweet shop! read more

Confetti Sweets - Bakeries Near Me - Sherwood Park, Alberta

This was my first time at this store and I was blown away! I was expecting to walk into a bakery with mostly cookies and maybe some cupcakes. I didn't expect to see so many different products! Confetti Sweets had a Confetti Collective Christmas Market during my visit. A wide variety of products from more than 40 local vendors and businesses were for sale. Most of these local products were displayed upstairs on the second floor. What a excellent way to support local, especially when small businesses have been struggling during the pandemic. This is a great place to buy some holiday gifts. I spent a lot more time in the store than I had anticipated. Today, I bought a dozen Confetti Sweets cookies in the following flavours: Chocolate Candy Cane, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Gingersnap and a Jam Thumbprint cookie. I also grabbed a couple bags of Eggnog flavoured Kick Ass Caramels and a bag of Maple Walnut Brittle. In the past, I bought Confetti Sweets cookies from our local Farmers Markets. I know their cookies are delicious. However, coming to this store was pleasant surprise! It was so much more than just a bakery! What a sweet way to support local! read more

Ok I came here on a whim since I was in the area for an in-store pickup. It's actually not too far from Sherwood park Costco, so pretty easy to find. TBH, I was expecting a basic bakery, but I was so unprepared...there was sooo much stuff to buy... I got overwhelmed quite easily (in a good way cuz now it means I have to come back to browse more). The decorator cookie kits and the cookie mixes packets seemed very enticing to do with my kids, but I am trying to watch my waistline since pandemic, so trying not to overdo it. When I was at farmers markets and catch them there, I'd buy at least a half a dozen cookies pre-pandemic ...they are that good... soft, chewy and fresh and all the flavours are delicious! I didn't realise they sold cupcakes too! I ended up buying a couple cupcakes and I'm glad they are individually packaged since one was meant as a door drop off for my dad. The mini cookie or chocolate that they add on the cupcake icing actually helps hold the cupcake in place and it looked perfect when it came time to eat it despite being jostled around in my car all morning. My kids gobbled up the cookie despite one kid being a cookie hater. The red velvet cupcake was amazing. I couldn't stop myself from eating the whole thing in one sitting: decadent, moist, tender, and not too sweet... and now I want more just writing about it. Maybe I'll go with a dozen mini cupcakes for smaller doses of goodness to share with the family for next round. Side note: I super appreciate that there was feature products from local farmer market vendors that I recognised and have been missing this past year. Glad I could get my fix here too! read more

Confetti Sweets - Local goods seen at farmers markets - Bakeries Near Me - Sherwood Park, Alberta

First and foremost... as soon as you walk in , your nose is overloaded with the smell of freshly baked goodies.. OMG !!! It smells amazing in there. In a way, I could not work there because I would be eating a cookie every 20 minutes or so. This is not your typical cookie bakery. There is a great variety of food - from frozen pizzas to pastas, sauces and more goodies than you can possibly imagine. I walked around for about 5 minutes looking at the cookies and the layout of the store.. it has a great appeal . What amazes me is the story of how it all started. From baking cookies at home for the farmer's market to being featured at the Oscars - really !!! In 2014 she supplied the Canadian Country Music Awards and a year later at the Oscars in Hollywood. I bought a dozen of my favorite - gingersnaps, shortbread and chocolate chip ( with crumpled up candy canes mixed in ). The second floor features an assortment of christmas decorations and other products. As soon as I left , I could not resist the urge. . My car was smelling like cookies. So I dipped in and ate a gingersnap.... HOLY CRAP !!!! These are amazing !!! I mean I love a good cookie just like the next person .. but these ones are simply heaven ! Soft and very chewy.. perfect ! Unfortunately ( or fortunately .. depending on how you look at it ) I could not eat just one.. three gone by the time I got home. .. It may be a long way to go for cookies but I did get told they have a table at the farmers market by the Costco southside Edmonton ( the employee tried to sign me up for their loyalty card - which I declined ..then she told me about the farmers market.. I will have to think about it ) . Any way.. the store is laid out nicely and very clean everywhere ( I peaked into the baking area ) the staff and owner are amazing .. and best of all... those cookies are damned delicious. read more

I've gotten their cookies from farmers markets before, but it was the first time seeing the shop! I love that there was small market full of other local goodies at the front of the store and on the second floor. I picked up some dehydrated morel mushrooms from untamed feast and can't wait to try it in risotto! Always great cookies! Perfectly chewy! If you are to try I definitely recommend the coconut and ginger snap cookie! read more

What can I say? These are by far the best cookies ever and my favourite cookie place in town! I love how they now offer mixes so that you can bake them on your own. read more

Do you love cookies? Do you like treats of any sort? Most likely the answer to this question is yes, have I got a place for you to try! Confetti Sweets has been around for a while and there is a good reason, because the cookies are made with love and their passion and it shows! They also are big community supporters, when Covid hit they quickly pivoted and offered products online, but not just their own products, pretty much anything local people wanted them to offer so helped a lot of other small businesses stay afloat. I personally can not enjoy the gluten filled goodness in most of the treats, but that is no problem as they have some great Gluten Free options also. If you can't make it into the store, you can usually find them in Save On Foods as you are grocery shopping. Hats off to these great folks! read more

I looooove confetti sweets cookies! The sugar cookie with rainbow sprinkles is delish! The chocolate and skirt ones are also a winner winner chicken dinner! And did you know they were featured at the Oscars last year?!? Yay #YEG read more

I haven't been here for a while but it looks like they've expanded into the other space which is cool! I love it when local businesses thrive. I've been to a couple of yelp events that they were at and they are always super generous and great with their customers! We tried the peanut butter chocolate, coconut, and chocolate coconut. We also got some hot chocolate. All very delicious. It's usually a big hit when we come here! read more

I was really impressed with how much different stuff is inside this shop! It's far more than just cookies - but don't get me wrong, the cookies are the stars here. The cookies are big and chewy and don't skimp on flavour! I tried the candy cane Christmas feature cookie, as well as their peanut butter choco-chunk. I also bought a package of frozen cookie dough to take home and bake up a delicious batch of gingersnaps. I was well aware of this company as they have products available through Uproot Food Collective, but their store location also sells a variety of the popular Uproot brands, which makes for convenient shopping. This is definitely a great place to stop in and pick up a delectable treat - or a great option if you are looking for a way to mark a special occasion with something other than cake. read more

I put an online order in for 2 dozen cookies, and 2 packages of 6 cupcakes. I sent my husband the confirmation email to take, just in case, well good thing he had it and knew. They handed him 1 dozen cookies and 1 package of cupcakes and that was it. My husband told them there was more to the order, showed them the email, they walked over and grabbed another bag of cookies and handed that to my husband. My husband had to tell them again that they still are short. They had to scramble and grab cupcakes to make up another package. They grabbed 2 sport decorated cupcakes to finish the order and that was it. No apologies, no offering or asking what we wanted to do. This order was going somewhere important, and the last thing needed was two sports cupcakes. Incredibly disappointed read more

Where do I begin!? This bake shop it a wonderful place to stop and shop. They have tons of locally made products that you might recognize from the farmers market. Everything from dips to jewelry. There is even a holiday market up the steps inside the bake shop, everything is locally made so you can get all your gifts in one stop! As far as the bakery they make the most delicious cookies!! I had a sugar cookie with colorful sprinkles, a chocolate chunk peanut butter and a shredded coconut cookie. They were all amazing, chewy and soft with a little crunch on the edges just how the perfect cookie should be. I see they also make cupcakes, and a few other treats. They sell cookie decorating kits so you can take them home for some family fun. Supporting local has never been so delicious! read more

Love their cookies! Every once in a while my husband spoils me with some mini cupcakes and dozen assorted cookies. The reason for the 4 stars is last visit, my husband just picked an assorted dozen cookies bag as usual and received what seems like the leftovers they had, 8 (!!!!) chocolate coconut cookies, 3 oatmeal chocolate chip and 1(?!) gingersnap. When my husband came home I was confused for the amount your paying you really do want assorted flavors and not whatever leftovers (or feels like it) the store wanted to get rid of before closing time. Would deff come back cause their cookies are incredible! Would recommend maybe to choose your own flavors :) read more

Cutest little bakery but has SO much more. There is a store where u can buy locally made items upstairs. Came here for their cookies and were NOT disappointed. If u love cookies (and who doesn't) then you must try these guys out! read more

Great Ginger Snaps! Cupcakes were good as well. Pricey and will save for special occasions.

I ordered a dozen cupcakes with a particular color, cake and personalization for a birthday brunch. When I had researched bakers in the area, Confetti Sweets address came up as west Edmonton 170 St (a former location). That created a conundrum when it was time to for me to pick them up and still arrive in time to prepare for the brunch event. Confetti Sweets made a smooth delivery in plenty of time and all was well. Much appreciated the product, service and delivery!! Thanks again Confetti Sweets! Highly recommend! read more

Came into the store today to ask if they sold larger amounts (30-40) cookies at storefront as i was buying them for my workplace. I was unaware I would have to place an order for this amount as I have never been here before. The lady at the till was quite unpleasant and made me feel embarrassed for not knowing. Will not be returning which is unfortunate as i know their baking is very good. read more

Two locations. One in Sherwood Park , one in Riverbend. The one is Riverbend is within a bakery called Prairie Mills- see that review. Business within business - Confetti Sweets started as a small vendor at Market now becoming much larger business - famous for its cookies - and reported game at an appearance at the Oscars by request from none other than Oprah. No need to say more. Reasonable tastiness for reasonable price. Good as party treats or on its own. read more

These cookies are so amazing! Very moist, super fresh and super decadent. Bought these for a potluck and *whooosh* they disappeared! These were obviously a huge hit. I had the coconut one... mmmm so good. I normally don't like coconut stuff at all but this was delicious. Too bad the feature cookie wasn't included in a dozen. I wanted to try the sandwich! The service is helpful and accommodating ; even on short notice they will do their best to bake what you need.
