For $8.50 a person, we were able to access the parking lot, which is situated conveniently next to the hiking trails. The hiking trails themselves are very short and flat, especially for someone who has lived in mountain towns before, but they are good nonetheless by Ontario standards. The trails mostly run along the top of the gorge cliff, overlooking the water with an obstructed view, however, once you get to the end of the trail, you could go on top of a bridge and get a great view of the gorge.

The water flow was steady but other areas, fast. There is a area in between you can stop and dive off into the water. It's not easy to navigate the where to go unless you paddle in some way(used my water shoes) It's beautiful along the way, the scenery is beautiful, you will pass a waterfall! When you get to the end, it's best to step off as it was harder when when you reach the chain. Now the walk back to return equipment (if rented on site) and to the parking is also long but through the trail so just follow the signs. Along the way, I saw many camp sites. Now the not so good. You have to purchase your tickets online ahead of time. We have an Ontario parks pass and you can not use this for tickets online as they ask you for a parks pass number (the Ontario parks passes do not have these) Because of this we were unaware there was time slots. We arrived at 1:30pm and were not told at the gate that we would have to leave at 2pm. We paid for parking ($16) and set up our site. We had about maybe 10-15 minutes before we were told we had to leave the beach. I asked one security person if we were able to hike the trail while we were waiting for the beach. She told us that we could and asked us to get our afternoon passes for 3pm. We cleared our site and were ready to hike the trail. When we did we were yelled at by another security guard that we had to leave the park and would not be allowed back in until 3pm. This person was very rude. We tried to explain our situation and were very rudely and abruptly brushed off. Staff do not communicate with each other or you. Security is very rude and do a poor job of explaining the situation. It's a shame, the quarry is very pretty but is not worth the hassle. I would have taken a photo to add to this review but I was rushed so quickly out of the area that I didn't have time to.

It's a pretty straightforward experience since during the winter, since they are simply a snow tubbing hill. It's a good-sized hill with clear lanes to go down. There's a moving belt that you stand on and bring your tube up with you to get up the hill. Beyond that, there's a surprisingly large chalet which seems like it could accommodate a larger ski hill. They also have snow machines which allows them to continue operating outside of normal snow levels, and that was certainly the case when I visited. I don't live in the area and had to drive a bit to get here, but it would be very convenient to anyone in the region since it's right in the middle of Kitchener off of the highway, and not having to go to a more remote area. It looks like in the the fair weather months they have a big zipline (or two?), and that could be a lot of fun as it was a pretty good length. They do everything they need to do to run a good tube park, so no complaints for me at all.

The drive-through safari takes about an hour to an hour and a half if you take your time, but you can also go through in 30 minutes if you're just cruising. We didn't try the food, but there were lots of options available, plus a couple of gift shops. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be going back!
