Their beds or pods are so uniquely built and have privacy screens all around and it makes you feel like it's just you in the space. The showers were amazing and water was steaming! The showers and toilets are also built with a private feeling. Rooms are a little cramped but the styling makes up for it. The best part about the pods were the TVS inside each one! Everything about Two Peas is modern, clean and comfortable. I seriously did not want to leave! Staff was also super helpful and kind enough to give a tour of the space upon arrival. It's located in Chinatown on a really neat street as well. The only con I will say is that breakfast starts late at 8am. Due to my schedule I was not able to eat the free breakfast provided.

First floor is the Nurse's/SGH residence, while second floor is Nancy Campbell Academy. The third floor holds ShelterLink organization. I picked up my room key and access card from the Stratford General Hospital switchboard. I got a parking pass for hospital lot E. Wifi (speed = med) was also included. Bedroom includes bedding, towels, closet/drawers, desk, lamp, bar fridge, garbage can, sink, and chair. No AC but the window partially opens and a fan is provided. Common area has a small kitchen (hotplate, toaster oven, fridge, common plates/bowls/utensils). There are two "wings" - a men's wing and a female's wing. Each wing has a common room and a common gendered washroom. There is a courtyard in the middle of the square-shaped residence with outdoor chairs and pool (which was unswimmable when I moved in but now has been refurbished sans water). Not all doors open up to it. Finally, there is also a laundry room with coin-operated ($2) machines. I stayed in June 2022 and I felt like I was only one of three people staying in the residence, so it was very quiet. Management (Roman) is extremely responsive and housekeeping works hard everyday to keep the space well stocked and clean. I think the location is ideal because it is still within walking distance to the "downtown" of Stratford.

The situation was completely over the top and unacceptable. It all started because I mistakenly rang the bell once while rushing in from the rain around midnight on a Saturday night, even though I already had my door code in hand. The employee opened the door in the nastiest possible way, immediately yelling in my face. I politely asked why he was being so rude, and instead of calming down, he became even more hostile. He raised his voice further and told me he would "kick my ass out of the building" if he wanted to. At that point, I was simply asking to be treated with basic respect while this individual caused a huge scene and acted as if he was ready to physically attack me. This was honestly the worst experience I've ever had at a hostel, and I will never come back. This employee is a liability and could get the company sued. I actually had to walk away from the hostel in the middle of a rainy night just so he could calm down before I felt safe enough to return and get some sleep. I emailed and texted the management several times to report the incident and never got an answer. From a few other reviews I've seen online it looks like this employee have done this in the past to other guests. Manager should know better at this point. Not a safe nor respectful environment for anyone.

Other guests I've witnessed have been jerks but I try to be kind and respectful when asking for help ..especially because I personally have worked in the service industry for a number of years . This woman thought she could make a few dollars by renting out the bunk beds in her couple of small overheated rooms (she sleeps in these bunk beds as well - naked) and calling it a "B&B",and slapping some goo on people's faces and calling it a "spa". She also runs "cooking classes" out of the tiny kitchen. I mean really. I take pretty good photos - yet I don't market myself as a photographer and take innocent peoples money that are expecting a professional and quality service. This place is not worth a visit.
