Stayed at Bluewater Keys #1205. Greeted with a door to the condo that looked like a prop in a horror movie. Door and frame full of chipping paint. Inside was dingy and dirty. Pictures on there site not representative of what we saw. numerous problems, light switches not working. No instructions on how to operate tv. Would help if they put batteries in the remote. overhead fans with lights could be turned off with a remote but others would come on with same remote. WiFi didn't work for 4 days till they replaced the modem. Not enough glassware for 5 people. Furniture looked like garage sale finds with damage. had a toilet leak that required a plumber. had 3 visits from Condo world, a plumber, and a cable guy. Talked with condo world about issues and a manager offered $150 for our inconvenience. What a joke. I see from other reviews I'm not the first to have these issues with this company. Buyer beware. Don't stay at Bluewater Keys and never use CondoWorld as a resource. read more

We have been recurrent customers of condoworld since 2018. We had a very different experience this year. I feel the standards of condoworld significantly decreased. I wanted to review our stay at Blue Water keyes pent house 14 with you in an effort to reduce problems for someone else staying at this location. We arrived July 13th for a 1 week stay. Arrival into our condo was disappointing. In the kitchen on of the cabinet fronts was falling off(see picture attached). This is a safety hazard to my children and not acceptable. The refrigerator water dispenser front was also broken and falling off. The vent near the kitchen on the ceiling was also disgusting. There was a butter stick left in the cabinet. Clearly this was not cleaned. Our first night we noticed a dead dried up bug in our sheet. I was woken up to a roach " palmetto bug" in our bed Sunday morning. At the point I called the emergency line and was forwarded to maintenance man. Darrel came out very quickly and was very nice. He fixed the kitchen cabinet, taped the water dispenser and replaced burnt out bulbs. He was very kinds and efficient. He is an excellent employee you have on staff. He offered to spray for bugs at first, but said he couldn't because we had young kids in the room. He recommended we reach out to house keeping for our other issues. We had house keeping out Sunday. They cleaned the vent, changed out sheets and swept the whole condo. This was an instant difference within the condo. It was visibly dirty prio and they were able to make a huge improvement in a short amount of time. The couch was so dirty we would not sit on it. They put a referral for the couch to be cleaned. The next day received a call from a fabric cleaning company to clean our couches. I agreed to them come and since we would not sit on our could and he said this would only take a few hours. I should not of been having to arrange so many services and taking calls from help during my vacation. On the other hand I will give credit that my complaints were listened to. I would have preferred these things to be taken care of before I arrived. Tuesday we came back to our hotel late after dinner not our fire alarm chirping. We went shopping and called the emergency line. They directed us to pull the battery and they came out later to fix that problem. Wednesday our air conditioning broke. We came back to our condo to the temperature being 78 degrees inside. Heating and cooling came out at 7:45 the next AM and fixed this, they came back at 1:30 and replaced the filter. By that time we had a total of 7 staff in our condo to replace/ fix something. This is unacceptable. I should not of had to be fielding this calls and most of this could have been taken care of prior to arrival. Within these staff in our condo my purple ear buds also went missing. They were only $20 but still did not make me happy. My last problem with the condo was random loud noises, that sounded like the pipes shaking. We have stayed at many different properties over the years, penthouse 14 does not meet my standards and does not meet the standards we have seen in the past. We paid a lot of money for the condo alone. Vacations are luxuries, and this condo is not. In todays economy people pay attention to where their money is spent more then ever. We used Condo-World last year, and we loved it. The condo was wheelchair accessible, which we need for our son. When we got home last August, we reserved the same condo for this coming August. We just found out that our son will be having major surgery in May with a 12-week recovery time frame, six weeks non-weight bearing and then six weeks in-patient for intensive rehab. I contacted Condo-World to see if we could move our reservation to 3 weeks later so that our son would be through recovery by then and that we could even provide them with documentation from the surgeon. Mind you, we didn't want to cancel our reservation, we just wanted to move our date. We were told absolutely not and that we will lose our $1,000 deposit. We are giving them 6 months' notice, knowing they will rent out that condo for that week and will not be losing any money. Our son has a brain injury and is paralyzed, and Condo-World is not willing to work with us at all! We are so angry and disappointed in Condo-World!!! read more

Crescent shores Positives: oceanfront condo, enough space to be comfortable with a family of 4. Outdoor pool, lazy river, good location Negatives: security guards guard the pool as if you're doing something wrong. Constantly asking to see your wristbands and yelling at children unnecessarily. You pay good money to stay here and they make it very uncomfortable. All 4 of us were burned by the hot tub chemicals- they ended up draining and refilling the pool- other guests complained. This is definitely not the cleanest condo in the area- could use good maintainence and a deep clean. The indoor pool is very small (looks much bigger in pictures). I highly suggest not checking in on a Saturday ... no close parking, and extremely long lines to the elevator (lines were outside and through the parking lot. Not enough carts for everyone). read more

Condo apartment 109-S is very neat very clean and updated in furniture. Crescent Shores - S 109 because obviously is individually owned by an owner and their family and stay there on their vacation so not only is it well kept and up-to-date but maintained beautifully. It is also decorated beautifully. Everything was clean and there is plenty of utensils pots pans and dishes. Location is absolutely perfect being so close to the water. The only thing is when it looks like you have other rentals or people from the town can get passes for the pool they were playing very loud radios and being on the first floor was not enjoyable. But mention it wasn't enjoyable sitting at the pool when I had my music very low and they came and blasted their music. That's something you still need to police unfortunately. the staff building we're very helpful and polite. read more

Scheduled last minute trip. On-line pictures from Condo World were in no way representative of what we received. Staff at CondoWorld told us if we were that unhappy, we could pack up and go home and they would refund our money within a couple of weeks. They were rude and very unprofessional. Some of the staff we dealt with were Allison, Tina Carmichael, Erica, Dawn, Hollie, Alisha. Do NOT rent Unit 5E, Crescent Sands, Crescent Beach. It is filthy, antiquated, mold on bathroom vents, dust, rust everywhere, furniture broken, dirty, fridge filthy, no closet in master bedroom, just a metal hangar for your clothes. Drawers in bedroom furniture had a nasty smell. Bathtub was barely wider than a roll of paper towels. Artifical fingernail on nightstand in 2nd bedroom, lampshades filthy, stained, switch plates didn't fit holes in wall, door trim everywhere was chipped. It would take me hours to list all the nastiness of this Unit. read more

Update 1/6/2020 Ben reached out to us on Dec 26, 2020 to make things right and we were satisfied with his response. We currently have a reservation for March 2021 and are looking forward to hopefully having a wonderful vacation as in June 2020. We booked 2 vacations in 2020 through Condo-World, the first in June 2020 for a week at Crescent Towers II and everything was wonderful. The second vacation in Oct 2020 did not go as well. We got a call on the drive down from Ohio that our unit in we had booked a month prior (Bahama Sands) was having work done and we could not stay there so there and they had booked us at North Shore Villas. We requested another unit at Bahama Sands but apparently nothing was available but according to their website there were several available. We got to North Shore Villas and there was a lot of work being done to the balconies and outside common areas. So we couldn't use the pools, hot tubs, at times our ocean front balcony or the private beach access. We were disappointed in our October stay. read more

I just returned from my stay at Ashworth and wasn't too thrilled. 1. I have stayed at several condo world facilities and have never had such a filthy bathroom. Like months of not cleaning. The floor was beyond disgusting. 2. The lazy river and one of the main pools was shut down due to 'covid'. However, the properties next door had all pools and the lazy river open. So it was a willy-nilly decision on the part of the management. I called ahead of time to ensure that all pools would be open and was told that they would. So I was extremely disappointed in half of the pools being closed. When I called about it on day 2 - I was informed that each property made their own decisions. I feel I should have been informed so that I could have made another choice. I am paying for all amenities... and while I under stand the work out room situation. To close the lazy river seems ridiculous (especially since next door all outdoor pools were open). This is the first time I have ever complained about a stay at a condo-world property. I have emailed this complaint as directed when I call in to an 'Allison' twice and the general mailbox once. Absolutely no response. If I would attach pictures of the filthy bathroom I would. On 7/8 Dawn from Condo World called and I have been refunded the cleaning fee. So I feel that some effort was made with this issue. read more

Rented a 3 bedroom condo for 3 birthdays. This condo was filthy. The ceiling was leaking, floors were sticky, and there was mold growing from the wall vents. When you speak to Oceans one property, they say speak to Condo World about the hideous conditions, and then u contact condo world and they say go through the resort. Last year we stayed at the condo beside of the one that I reserved for this year. The one I reserved had an extra bathroom which is the ONLY reason we changed. But I found out I have cancer, so I needed to cancel the reservation. I called and cancelled the reservation months ago, fully aware of the policy that in order to get my deposit back the condo would need to be reserved by someone else. Got an email TODAY that my payment was due. Called and confirmed this with Condo-World and sure enough, they did not cancel my reservation when I called months ago. Will definitely not use this company again. **edited to add- they reposted the condo for less than I reserved for. What a super crappy way for a company to scan someone out of their deposit, which was significantly more than the required deposit. Received a call from Allison, a manager? Requested a call back to "clear the air" and "help make things right" I've called back 3 times, left a voicemail, haven't heard from her since. I'm having a major surgery on Monday and will be unavailable for quite some time. So my guess is I'll never see a cent of my money. read more

Crescent Beach - 201 DISGUSTING!! First lets talk about the mold, the owners remodeled but painting the warped paneling. Obviously hanging damp rid this a great fix! There was no screens for the windows or sliding glass doors so when you opened anything every gnat in NMB was now in the condo. Floors are uneven and warped as well. Cleaners don't know that fans, vents, baseboards should be wiped down. Kitchen was just wiped down in a smearing fashion. Pictures on website for the condo was not the condo rented. BUT LET'S NOT FORGET THE PLACE IS INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES!!!!! Condo-World answer was a shrug of shoulders and let us know per the HOA the exterminator came on a monthly basis. Horrible rental unit. The mattresses in both rooms were worn out and extremely uncomfortable. In the bathroom the previous tenants hair product was left on the tub. The cost of the unit did not match the price. Also, the smell in the room aggregated my asthma. Vacation Family beware! We paid for four nights and left after two. 1501 S. Ocean Boulevard Myrtle Beach. SC : The only elevator doesn't work, you have to practically body slam the doors for them to open, the balcony door handles don't exist and the windows are not cleaned at all (so dirty we couldn't see through them.) There were open paint bunkers everywhere and you could smell the paint everywhere (while we were still in our car!) The floors, countertops, tables, dressers and appliances (fridge, microwave, stove were smelly and stained also.) The electrical is so messed up; light switches were taped and had "do not turn on" written on them. I turned them on anyways and the lights flickered and eventually went out. We also couldn't charge our phones or use our hair tools because of the dangerous electrical. It was advertised that there are washer and dryers and a dishwasher in the rooms, but there isn't. Nothing is labeled so you kind of have to find your own way around and hope for the best. And to add on, there were guys who followed us to our room; zero security! Not safe for women or children. Do NOT stay here, even if it's a last resort. Costs way too much for such a shitty place. Also: since the same keys work for every room, people will come into your room. when we came back to our room after spending time at the ocean, there was a stranger in there going through our stuff! that same morning someone else tried coming in and then a few hours later the, assuming, maintenance guys (I was shocked they had them) were sawing at our door (6AM!!) and when I tried opening it to tell them to stop, I couldn't. I was genuinely scared staying here. I kept pepper spray on me at all times. And: the outdoor pool and hot tub are disgusting. There's bugs floating all over them, the bottoms are brown, the water is almost green. After I attempted to sit in the steaming hot hot tub, I broke out into a rash. And again about security: anyone can enter the outdoor pool area. Gates aren't locked, free parking (random ppl were taking our spots.) If you do use the pool or hot tub, don't bring your stuff. It will get stolen. CONDO WORLD IS THE WORST!! read more

The most disgusting place I've ever stayed. This is what I cleaned off the floor upon arrival! Do not stay at WaterPointe II in SC. The pillow covers had dried crud obviously not washed before we got there, the furniture was stained and disgusting, walls were dirty. Condo world is property managers. But the place we rented Ocean Bay Club from them was HORRIBLE. The place was old out dated.. smelled horrible! The washer leaked. The refrig was old and rusty. The counter top was broken!! The worst part was they rented us a condo that had so many rules I felt like a prisoner! We were never told you can not sing at the pool, jump into the pool. The property manager Mary was the meanest rudest person ever!! This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.. I will never rent from Condo World again!! I had to cancel my reservation because of family health issues. I was told that I would receive a refund if the condo was re-rented for the same amount of time (minus $100 cancellation fee). I had put down $500. It was re-rented....They dropped the price way down for the people who rented the condo, and told me that my entire deposit had to be forfeited because they gave the people a discount. read more

When I initially called for a reservation and they told me Crescent Shores II. - #306 I asked if it was a fairly new condo and answer was yes - wrong - built around 1982. When we got there no TV in children's room, two lights out in kitchen ceiling, microwave light out, no handle on inside of sliding glass door, door not sliding properly. I reported everything and maintenance came around 9 PM and said he had handle for door in truck but would have to come back next day as he could not fix lights and television needed cable company. The next morning he came and fixed lights but said sliding door rollers were rusty and needed new ones. He said he told Condo World to contact cable company. A very nice fellow. Two days went by and kids had no tv and stayed in our room during the day and evenings. I called again and no response about tv. Finally I called again latter part of week and they sent cable guy who stated owners had to be contacted as major repair needed to be done and holes cut in walls. I said we were leaving the next morning and to forget it. He came back Saturday morning while we were packing to leave. Thursday my son-in-law opened suitcase and cockroach was inside and he was livid - once again I called and was told it was a PALMETTO BUG - hello look it up it is a form of cockroach! My husband had open heart surgery in APRIL and we needed some relaxation - no relaxation just STRESS. They came and sprayed bugs b gone - things were not as reported to be. When I checked out Saturday I told the receptionist about our issues and she said and I quote "I AM TELLING A MANAGER AND HE WILL GIVE YOU A CALL!" That was August 18th and today is August 28th and guess what? NO CALL. we previously stayed with Thomas Beach Vacations ant they were excellent!! I l learned a valuable lesson this year stay with TBV to get the best condos - $1700 shot!! read more

Don't use condo world the condos they rent to you are disgusting. We stayed at barefoot Landing the yacht club condos in a four bedroom condo. When we got in the place was filthy the couch had stains on it and stuff from the previous renters. The carpet was not vacuumed, there was trash under the bed and dirty dishes in the nightstand drawer. The bathroom was not clean I had throw up on my boxspring of my bed I had to wash all the bedding because there was a random sticker on the bedspread. They don't let you park more than two cars here you have to park a car off property if you have more than two cars. Do I do not recommend this rental company or this property ever. This place, wow. This has to be the most disgusting place I've ever stayed. Our Caribbean cruise was cancelled, so my mom paid $3,000 for a week at this condo. You'd think for that much money, the standards of cleanliness would be higher. The first whole day of my beach vacation was spent deep cleaning a 4 room condo, including wiping urine, feces and pubic hair off the bathroom floors/toilets. I have a 9month old and a 4 year old, there was no way we were staying there until it was cleaned properly. When we were able to get a hold of someone to report the condition, they sent the cleaning supervisor.... she was appalled at what we showed her, but didn't take responsibility and said that the condition of the condo was the owner's responsibility. We also didn't have a working dryer for the whole week..after playing phone tag for days with the company, they finally came to fix it the afternoon before we left. Which again, was a challenge with young kids. We never asked for compensation, but some sort of offer to make it right would have been kindly appreciated. I'm not going to go into more detail regarding the specifics of the mess, but will let the pictures/captions speak for themselves. In a nutshell: there is NO way this place was cleaned before the last guests left. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

What A BUST!!! booked our condo in Myrtle Beach back in February 2021 for July 2021....everything was paid in full and was pre-registered for check in.Fast forward to July,made the drive down from Ohio and was at the Sea Watch resort waiting for our 4:00pm check in notification at Condo world I receive a phone call from them that 2:00pm that my condo reservation had to be cancelled and that our stay at sea watch with the rest of our family that was booked here,was NOT going to happen...gave us the opportunity to move to a different resort ( away from the rest of the family) or a refund!! They claimed that there was water damage from an earlier storm?? But! We happened to be inside of our room to speak to the cleaning ladies, ( who supposedly were the ones who reported the " damage"- they were TOTALLY clueless btw) Also, one of my brothers are directly below us, and they have ABSOLUTELY NO WATER DAMAGE. The front desk at the Seawatch also informed us, that IF there actually was water damage, that some of their units would have this so called "damage " as well.Moving to a different resort wasn't an option for us due to family,so my only option was a refund !!! BEWARE when booking with this company,from other BBB reviews and complaints they don't have a problem ruining and or making your vacation very difficult or even non existent!!!!!! So basically, SUPER AWFUL! The manager was "too busy checking people in" to even speak to me... TERRIBLE!!!.... Okay, this is now a couple of days later, and let me just say , after a lengthy visit with condo world, they have TOTALLY REDEEMED THEMSELVES!! Come to find out, it wasn't them AT ALL!! Thomas Martin is the culprit... NEVER, and I mean NEVER do ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THIS RASCAL.... I booked a " premium " 1 bedroom condo for my golf trip to Myrtle Beach. I was under the impression they included the toiletries I would need including shampoo, soap, and conditioner like a regular hotel but they had nothing in the condo except a bar of soap! I'm not sure what their idea of Premium is but uncomfortable furniture, laminate counter tops, and bright yellow paint is not premium to me. The resort had a nice pool and hot tub, lots of visitors, easy check in & out, and ok location. I suggest Condo World send out SOMETHING - ANYTHING to inform the guest of what to bring with them to save a trip to the local store. Shopping was not part of my vacation plans. I give the resort 4 stars and Condo World 2 stars. read more

We booked through Condo World for the first time and stayed at the SeaWatch. Never have I been so disappointed in a vacation. While it is understandable that some things are out of their control, it was difficult to find information on the site regarding what would be provided. It wasn't until after we arrived that we found that they would supply a "starter pack" of necessities- these included toilet paper rolls that had less than half a roll on them, hand soap that was literally just water in the container and not even enough dish washer detergent for one cycle. Luckily I had assumed we would need some things and brought other items that weren't provided so our shopping trip didn't end up coating an arm and a leg. As far as the actual condo, it wasn't anything special. The floors were dingy, all the cookware was in need of being washed but we had a nice view of the ocean. The other biggest complaint would have to be that the beds and pillows were some of the most uncomfortable things we have ever slept with! Usually you leave vacation wondering where the heavenly bed, fluffy pillows and tropical duvets came from so you can "vacation" at home, not here. Digging a hole to sleep in the sand on the beach would have been a better option than staying in the backache inducing beds for those 6 nights. When we arrived, we were given a password for the wifi from Condo World, this was incorrect and we had to call the main desk to get information, which was nearly impossible as the room was "not serviced" by SeaWatch- so if we had problems, wondered why the toilet paper was left near empty or why every username and password we were given for internet didn't work, we just had to deal because the actual condo wouldn't help. Lastly, the water pipes... oh my, the water pipes!! It was never determined what caused this awful phenomenon (see above that we were not under the condo maintenance), but it sounded like a dying hyena. High pitched random squelching, presumably when the neighbors were doing laundry or showering- they must have been very clean people. We couldn't close the door or make the TV loud enough to drown the sound out! The makers of Excedrin are happy for our stay, and they have to be the only ones because we will certainly not be returning. read more

My family was vacationing here in April and one of the pools on the property had damage to the laminate coating on the bottom of the pool. My 6 year old daughter sliced her foot open requiring stitches at the emergency room. The pool was immediately closed, and the pool maintenance company returned to the scene admitting they were aware that the pool was in need of repair. I notified the resort and asked that we be reimbursed for the emergency room visit and they gave me the run around and would not help me--they were more concerned that they would need to have the pool repaired and clean blood from the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The condo was very clean and so very comfortable. The kitchen had everything. We enjoyed some much needed family time. Watched the dolphins in the morning. Booking with Condo World was easy enough. When we arrived at the location to get the keys, the place was chaotic. My husband and I go on vacation every year and are accustomed to folks showing up all at once to get keys. Checking in at Condo World was different. There was no rime or reason. Folks were butting in front of each other. The customer service agents did nothing to get things under control. When asked, an agent stated they never have a mgr here on Saturdays. Fast forward to arriving at the Sea Winds. The place needed to be cleaned. The foyer had sand all over the floor. The master bedroom was so dusty you could write your name in spots. The master bath had sand and hair in the tub. The floor was sandy as well. When we called the main office, the agent cut me office before I could finish explaining the condition of our condo. She said she will have a crew over shortly. She also stated since mgmt would not be accompanying the crew that she would have a mgr call us Monday. The crew showed up. We directed them where to clean. They didnt have a mop, so they hand wiped the floors. They were very polite and helpful. Monday came, no call from mgmt. A guy showed up around 9am (unannounced). He said he was there to change the air filters. He said he would call mgmt for us when he leaves. We never heard from mgmt. Tues, maintenance showed up (unannounced) stating the floor below us had a water leak. The guy came through and flushed the toilets, turned showers on and off. My husband explained to him what had happened over the weekend, and mentioned that we now have ants. He said he would send someone over to fix the problem. No one showed up or called. They got our room ready early because they knew we had arrived early. very accomodating

We are currently guests at a condo world property, when we arrived for check in the condo was absolutely disgusting. We had to go to the store to purchase $40 worth of cleaning supplies along with new sets and of sheets. The sheets that were provided were not a matching set, were dingy, and full of holes. The condo itself was filthy and had a distinct odor coming from old glade plug ins. (A weak attempt to cover up the filth) We contacted condo world where I spoke with Francis who rudely replied that we should have contacted them to send in a new cleaning crew. Well Francis, we were checking in with 2 small children and I believe the general expectation is that you do not have to wait for a new cleaning crew to arrive after you check in and wait around for them to clean the condo a second time. Francis took my message and assured me a manager would be in touch. After 2 days I left another message and the next day contacted by another employee (not a manager) who was only willing to refund the cost of the cleaning crew and their estimate of our sheets. So here we are typing this review on a towel on a nasty couch, staring at peeling wallpaper, a remote that doesn't work and cabinets hanging from hinges. I hope our money continues to fund the beautiful offices that condo world occupies because they sure don't invest their profits into properties or customer service. read more

This is the 3rd time we have used condo world in booking our vacation I like that everything is included so all we need to do is enjoy our vacation and not worry about bringing extra with us. We stayed at San a bel #208 it is a little small its okay for 4 people but since most of our time wasn't spent indoors it worked out well. I would Highly recommend Condo World. read more
