My friends and I visited this place, and we purchased the Gun Battle Package. In the beginning, you experience two simulations to get you used to what you are shooting. Then when you enter the maze that you will be maneuvering around in, they place a belt over you that emits an electric shock on your lower abdomen. You can choose the level of shock that you want to feel, the higher the level, the more you will feel it (shock level ranges 1-5). Each time that you are shot, you will feel the shock; therefore, there is no space in between. Whereas laser-tag takes time to reset itself before you can shoot or feel again. The game continues and you continuously feel a shock each time you are hit & you will still be able to shoot with no relapse. You fire real guns, and the bullets are blanks, but still have the powder in them (this is why you still wear the goggles) from my understanding. It's also a fun way to put your skills to the test if you are a regular shooter because you are not shooting at targets or metal plates. You are required to move around, use the skills that you learned, and shoot at a target that shoots back. You feel your adrenaline rushing through your body. You are even allowed to purchase a recording of your experience, which is worth it to look back at for memories. Such an amazing time, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys firearms, laser tag and/or just wants to have the experience! Trust me, you won't forget it.

We entered the store and did not receive a "Welcome in" or any type of greeting you would normally receive when entering a store as a paying customer. As we approached the counter we were met with an employee that was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. His attitude was relentlessly negative, and his behavior was clearly designed to obstruct the transaction rather than assist. As I began to fill out the background form, he took it upon himself to look up my address and it was determined that the address on my Driver's license would not satisfy the residential requirement on the background form, which I can easily have fixed with the DMV, however, he stopped the transaction and was extremely rude about it and was not helpful in explaining the process. When he was questioned about certain "store policies" he was making up during our conversation, he was unable to provide an answer, he was unhelpful and also refused to provide his or his superiors names when asked as well, we were told "we don't give out names here". We left the store with the intention to return the following day with the address correction documentation. The very next morning I received a call from the original dealer that Precision Armory was sending my merchandise back to them and the employee had made false allegations that we were attempting to make a straw transaction which has now damaged my reputation with the original dealer. There was absolutely no other explanation for this employee's behavior, other than he is racist and couldn't contain his disdain and hate for an African American man, it was evident all over his communication, expressions and demeanor, he couldn't hide it. Additionally, there are several other reviews from other customers citing similar discriminatory experiences with this store. I have made multiple attempts for the manager or owner to contact me directly, including a BBB complaint that has went ignored. I would not recommend this store, unless you support discrimination, racism and wickedness. There's so many other stores that will not treat their customers this way.

As we all know, Nevada is a…read morefirearms friendly state, and since we moved here from California so many years ago, we did not know anything about firearms. As our family started to grow, we started to take lessons for us and our children so that we could understand how to be safe around firearms, the law and how to respect them. We knew that our kids as they grew up, would be exposed to many that had firearms at home and so we embarked on a journey to learn about gun awareness, gun safety. Fast forward, we needed to really amp up our learnings and to obtain our CCW as well. We had our CCW before, but we allowed it to expire during Covid and it had been to long past the grace period so we needed to take another full course. This time, I was not looking for a classroom setting, set on a specific day with a lot of people. I was looking for small group setting and found out about Tim Stephens and Stephens Firearms training. This was the best choice we could have made. 1. Tim is a strong communicator and very timely as well. He will guide you with all you need to be prepared and ready. The process to obtain a CCW is administratively daunting and Tim guides you through the process with ease, helping us to prepare all our applications well in advance. 2. In terms of class size, Tim customized the class size just for us and we started at 2 of us and ended up with a total of 5 attendees. 3. Dates were negotiated based on everyone's availability which is awesome, as most of the other CCW classes I looked at were set on specific dates and so having customized dates based on our needs was perfect. 4. We were also asked a lot of questions that we had about firearms, what information we were looking for and what we thought we needed to know. It was really great that Tim could incorporate many of these things into the CCW mandated curriculum. On my own, I have "made things up" or developed some inconsistent habits and Tim's focus was all about reality, facts, the law, best practices and consistent / repetitive processes. This was so helpful and a game changer for us. 5. Other trainings I have had in past are more classroom like for the CCW or it is at the range but a bit daunting and too quick. Tim's training is a lot more engaging and personalized, so when we did not understand something or needed something to be repeated, it was great to be able to engage at this level to get a much deeper understanding and value from the course. 6. The actual shooting test was also beyond our expectations as not only did we all qualify, but we also learned additional practical hints. 7. After qualifying, Tim spent additional time with us to give us live hints on how we could go beyond qualifying and actually improve our accuracy as well! The entire process with Tim, from the communication, the learning, the process, the qualifying and then the extra coaching was beyond our expectations and exactly what we were looking for in an instructor and coach. We look forward to more learnings in the future with Tim and we highly recommend him for your CCW training, or any other training.

The instructors are excellent and intuitive in their coaching. To be completely transparent, for those who have not taken a definitive handgun course, the training can be very intimidating at the start, but there is much reward for sticking with the training. There is a broad range of experience among those who attend training. Regardless of experience level, everyone will be sufficiently challenged and find a great group of people.
