Just spent 3 days taking At The Ready's Defense Pistol Level 1,2, and 3 courses. Mike was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable as our instructor. Safety was always at the forefront and the lessons and drills we performed were very in depth and real world applicable. I highly recommend taking these courses with Mike and I look forward to coming back for his other courses, specifically his shotgun and rifle lessons. Took Mike's class today and it was fantastic. I highly recommend taking his CCW class or any of his defensive firearms training sessions. He kept us all engaged during the classroom portion of the CCW and it was never boring. When it was time for qualifying, he wasn't pushy or acting like a Drill Sargent at all. All of his instructions were clear, precise, and easy to follow. He showed great patience and taught me some great shooting tips and tricks that I will never forget. Mike is a super instructor!! I highly recommend him for your CCW and weapon safety training. He'll make you a safer and better shooter, without question. I took several classes before but this is first time writing a review. If you want the conceal weapon license class, I am strongly suggesting with Mike because below reasons. 1. He will make you understand the concept of firearms. 2. He will advise best way to have this licenses. 3. He will not cut short his class in any reason. 4. Mike Is a great instructor, he's experienced, knowledgeable and entertaining. He covers all the necessary information required by law for CCW in State of Nevada and Utah he also shares a lot of real life information and examples. He offers additional information that goes along with being a responsible CCW permit holder. Safety is key. He is a licensed NRA instructor for 15 years, so you can be assured he knows his stuff.
