The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. We didn't use the pool, but the area looked well-kept and inviting. A huge bonus was the free washer and dryer on every floor--definitely an A+ perk. Highly recommend for anyone who plans to be out and about and wants a comfortable, well-located place to stay.

We checked into our first room and pretty quickly noticed a couple bugs -- not thrilling, but honestly pretty standard for Hawaii, just part of the tropical experience. On top of that the shower curtain was way too short -- water spraying all over the bathroom floor every single shower. We brought it up to the front desk and they were great about it, upgraded us to an ocean view room without any hassle. New room had shower doors, no water issues, no bugs, and the view was stunning -- ended up being a solid win. The ocean view room was a great upgrade all around. Fridge held steady around 39°F and worked perfectly -- good to know if you're grabbing groceries since the first room's smart fridge was reading 42°F but things were somehow getting half frozen. WiFi is available but unsecured, just a heads up. Beyond the room situation -- lots of good stuff. Free parking, free shuttle within 3 miles, early check-in no problem, Keurig in the room, washer and dryer on every floor with detergent pods already provided, ice machine right there in the laundry room. Two pools (saline and chlorine), fire torches around the pool at night, live music nightly -- we missed it due to rain but it looked like a great setup. Front desk and hospitality staff were genuinely warm the entire stay. Two restaurants on property which was super convenient. Kihei Caffé was the breakfast spot -- chicken and waffles, loco moco, solid classics, kids were happy and portions are generous. Miso Phat Sushi was just okay -- decent food, great service, but nothing that really wowed us. Bottom line -- staff saved the day more than once and the location is unbeatable. Just request a room with shower doors from the start!

There were 4 of us on this Hawaiian visit and unusual to me was a decision to cook most meals in the Kihei condo as well as pack lunches in advance to prepare for our days at the beach. For this, the condo was perfect. There are pots and pans, cups and plates, utensils and seasonings. Don't see what you need? Call the front desk and it'll be delivered to you promptly. I was on the 4th floor in a condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and even a Murphy bed in the common space. There was an ample seating area to eat in, space to relax, and a balcony outfitted with table and chairs and a slice of sunset view. Parking (included) was always available in the lot just below where I stayed. There's a pool, kid's pool, and hot tub on-site and they're ample but not if you've grown accustomed to any offered by the major resorts. These are outside in an enclosed area with no views and no charm. I did use the hot tub and appreciated the temperature and its' ample size. My favorite unexpected thing about staying here is that people leave things behind when they depart for home. In the "clubhouse" there was a makeshift wall where people had left beach chairs, boogie boards, noodles, and more. Outside, on any random morning, you might find that departing guests have left a stash of groceries they couldn't take with them: loaves of bread, boxes of crackers, frozen waffles, and hunks of cheese. So even though you've made the obligatory Hawaii Costco run when staying in a condo, you might not find much need to go a second time. Across the street is an ABC Store and a snorkel rental spot and the market is a not too distant drive from here. Worldmark Kihei was a good home base from which to explore the western shore of the island and though the drive to some of the island's best beach destinations was over 35 minutes away, there were plenty of less notorious beaches to enjoy in this area for a shorter daily drive. Bottom line? Worldmark Kihei was a perfectly fine, clean, quiet place of lodging for 4 people for 8 nights.
