I appreciated that they took me at my word (about having a bladder infection) and got the urine sample first, before going through the interview part of the visit. Evan, the NP, was great! He listened well and looked at the recent urine culture results I had from another visit out-of-town. He even proactively(!) prescribed the oral yeast-infection treatment to take with the antibiotic (Thank You!!!). It only took about 45 minutes and I was on my way to the pharmacy. One odd thing, given that it's a brand new building, is that the height of the toilet is not ADA compliant; it's not even "chair height," which is slightly lower than ADA height (and, in my opinion, more comfortable for short people like me). Evan had also noticed this and was going to tell the manager. Hopefully, they will listen and fix it. Overall, a very good experience.

About 10 to 15 minutes later, I believe the doctor came in. I explained to her again about the flu-like symptoms and other issues. She was very short with her answers and wasn't paying attention to my descriptions of the symptoms. She interrupted me and took a quick look in my ears and throat and said there was nothing wrong with me. I then requested antibiotics or something for the symptoms, but she declined and told me I was good to go. The symptoms persisted and I made an appointment with a PCP. After his examination, I was properly diagnosed and prescribed medications for a respiratory infection and sinusitis. I called the Urgent care location and requested not to be charged for the lack of service, but I was told someone would call me back from the billing office within 48 hrs. No one called me back and I received a bill two months later in the mail. I called the location again and was given another number to call for the billing office. I approached the desk with my ID and insurance card but she flatly told me "you have to complete all the forms online and you did not do that..." No, I did not do that because I would rather fill out the forms with old fashioned pen and ink. When I stated that she went in the back to get the Nurse Practitioner who told me I was being 'rude and obnoxious'? Huh? I am 60 years old, I have numerous advanced educational degrees and was not feeling too great. No other clients were in the lobby. I said "I did not come here to fight with you, I just want to be seen..." She didn't care. I was told to behave better or I would be ejected from their facilities! Well, I filled out the form, gave my payment to the clerk and clicked the pen on the counter. Wrong thing to do! Apparently I clicked the pen rudely. Those 2 whispered and huddled together and I was told to leave! I have been previously to this same facility with no problems. Staff and management change? One nurse took my blood pressure, about 5 minutes later about nurse came in to give me the test. She was very nice, asked a few questions.. swabbed the inside of my nose and checked the back of my throat. She said results should come back about 48 hours. I know it was already about 7:30pm when I finished. Their office closes at 8pm. The lady at the front desk did not give an invoice when I left. I give this location 3 stars for overall experience. It was a very clean lobby area but it did not feel welcoming.
