My real rating is a ZERO- 0. Im not sure why some company's trust theses people. They are extremely lazy--- don't bother calling either they won't answer they will leave you on hold and not care. They claimed that my husband had a hernia... like what you come in 15 minutes late into the room and rub his stomach for less than 20sec... and walk out saying oh your fine you can still work.. when he was injured at work. I do not recommend going here for anything. Pace of mind you are allowed a second opinion with in your (MPN) medical provider network. Companies just don't want you to know so they don't have to pay your medical bill. -Workerscomp/ Safety Specialist lady. read more

I came in for a preemployment physical and TB Test. I signed in at 8:00AM as a walk in. Office staff was friendly and professional. I was taken in 45 min after waiting for weigh in, eye exam, and TB Test. I was taken back to lobby to wait for a room for the physical exam portion. Waited 25 min in lobby. Taken to a room where I waited another 20 minutes. Physical took less than 10 minutes. I waited 5 more min for copies of my exams for my employer. Expect to wait for walkin. It's a given. Do arrive early!!! when I left at 10:00am, the lobby was full! ***Came back 1 day later for only TB test reading in the afternoon. It took 35 minutes to be seen. *** Expect to wait as well. read more

I had two very negative experiences with the same nurse practitioner at this location. During my first visit she raised her voice, was dismissive, and the clinic manager had to step in and apologize for her behavior. On my second visit, she tried to clear me to return to work without even checking my range of motion or doing a proper evaluation. The manager again acknowledged the issue and apologized. These were not isolated mistakes -- this felt like a pattern. I'm sharing this so other patients receive the care and professionalism they deserve. read more

Stay away from this place. Go somewhere else for care. If zero or negative stars was an option I'd give it. Do not expect to receive care here. Reception staff was polite enough, but the Nurse Practitioner Dorothy Smith was not helpful and dismissive. I went in for a work comp assessment and did not receive any care or help. I was asked questions but constantly talked over when I'd try to answer. The experience in the end felt more like a one-sided rattling off about why I wouldn't receive help rather than an appointment about how to recover from my injury. I was written off as able to return to work without consideration or prescription to address the issue I was dealing with. Asked for a second opinion and received baseline professional care elsewhere. Do not go here, but if you do and you end up with Dorothy Smith, excuse yourself--leave. read more

Came in with a back injury from work, my employer sent me here. Angelina Gallegos said I was cleared to return back to work while I still had a bad back injury. After being seen at Kaiser a month later I am still dealing with back pain, and my diagnosis has been confirmed as a work related injury. Shame on this office for trying to send me back to work where I could have been hurt worse, and a liability for my employer. I also reported Angelina Gallegos to the board, they informed me that she is not qualified to make that assessment as she is a nurse, and they directed my complaint to the board of nursing. read more

Do not recommend! Horrible service, will have you waiting in lobby for hours even if you have appointment. Staff don't know what they are doing and unprofessional. No communication with patient. I highly recommend going to a different urgent care and not concentra!!! Never been so disappointed by an urgent care but I was only refer here because of work injury. Do better concentra!!! You will loose business if you continue the horrible service!!! I wish I knew the names of the people that help me so I can do an individual report on each staff. I am so frustrated with my service !!!! If I can rate this place a zero I would do it! read more

I went to Concentra Urgent Care for a physical exam, and the experience was awful. After they called me in, I was left waiting in the room for over an hour with very few people there. I would not recommend this place. read more

If you're looking for a clinic that values your well-being and listens to your concerns, look elsewhere. My experience with this workers' comp clinic has been frustrating and disheartening. From long wait times and rushed appointments to staff that seem more interested in meeting quotas than actually helping patients, it's clear that patient care is not a priority here. Communication is poor, follow-ups are inconsistent, and I often felt dismissed or ignored. The entire process felt more like a formality to push paperwork through the system rather than a genuine effort to support my recovery. It's especially disheartening when you're already dealing with an injury and need compassionate, competent care. Patients deserve to be treated like people--not case numbers. I hope the clinic seriously reevaluates how it handles care for injured workers. read more

I have an appointment at 10:30 and was able to see me around 1! Imagine the wait time! It is horrible. The treating physician SMITH,NP is horrible, dismissive and doesn't care about your symptoms, she only cares about the insurance! I suggest you see Dr. Mejia as he is more caring to his patient and doesn't view the patient as a burden! read more

I had an appointment at 10am it's now 11:09am and still haven't been called in. Don't use this place it's the worst! Medical board should shut this place down it's the worst place for care! I was sent to Concentra after a work injury. I have never seen the same doctor and have waited to be seen for over 4 hours every appointment. I get the same excuse every time. there is only one provider or there was an Emergency. Horrible service read more

I have been here since 9am; I have a pill that needs to be taken every 6hrs ans they promised they would be done within 3-4hrs It is now 1pm- 4hrs later and they have decided that there is still not time and they have caused me to miss my medication bc of their negligence and slow slow slow workers behind the desk read more

They can improve care quality because honestly they are terrible and just dismiss symptoms. Secondly the wait times are ridiculous waiting 3 hours past your appointment time to be seen. They only have one doctor and he is too prideful to be wrong about his assumptions and made me uncomfortable with how close he was to me while speaking to me. read more

Made an appointment two weeks in advance for a physical and arrived early just to not be seen for over 3 hours past my appointment time.

Avoid this place at all cost. My husband had to go there twice with an appointment and the wait was over 4 hours long. Extremely incredible what the wait time is. So much for having an appointment. Apparently only one doctor works there and schedules all appointments at the same time. Worst clinic and customer service ever. Avoid this location! read more

I came here because I couldn't get in to my primary physician (out of town) and I had some pain. I checked in and it took 3 hours to be seen. People who came in way after me got seen much faster due to me using my own insurance instead of workman's comp. Anyways, this place has the worst customer service and ridiculous wait times. read more

Worst place ever had me waiting for 3 hrs with an appointment, avoid this place, they are a joke

Incompetent staff. Can't handle more than a few patients at a time because they fall behind schedule. 5-6 hr wait time is common here. which is ridiculous... my whole day shouldn't be wasted because of a simple physical and drug test. I don't know how this place is still in business. This place is so ghetto from the doctors and staff to their wait rooms and office. HORRIBLE COMPANY read more

This place is a complete joke. Sent here for a workmen's comp case for my husband, was told it would be a 3-4 hour (only 4 )other people in the waiting room. When called back to get his vitals. I wasn't allowed to go with him. Explaining I only needed a time frame as I left work to bring him here and I needed to get back to work. Employee replied with (I might let you know ). Extremely rude and unprofessional.Doesn't even deserve a one star. read more

The longest wait ever. Do not come expecting to be helped with 30/40 mins. They will take 2/3 hours to help you.

The staff doesn't know what they are doing. The wait time is 3 hrs even if you go in the morning and they can't do appointments.

Wow, please if you're injured at work, do not come here. It's the most horrific place with the worst doctors you can think of. DR.DIANE and DR. Amen Jamaleddin is ridiculous, they prefer to have you hurting then to actually treat you for what you are feeling and make your job accountable. They do NOT listen to your concerns or care about your pain (like if they could feel what you feel). They change your diagnoses and do not care if you tell them you hurt. HOW IS IT THAT THEY THINK NOTHING IS WRING WITH YOU BUT MAKE YOU AN MRI APPOINTMENT!?! You're honestly better of going to your primary doctor. DO NOT COME HERE. 0 stars read more

Concentra Urgent Care - Big line... been waiting for ours for an appointment...smh - Urgent Care Near Me - Modesto, California

It's so much better and faster here on Mitchell Rd branch than the one on McHenry Rd, Modesto. I went to McHenry first, and oh boy, I DO NOT recommend you to go there, especially if you are only going to do simple tests, like mine, which was just a drug screen test. Honestly, it only took me less than 15 mins in and out. I had been here on Mitchell twice before, and it has always been the best so far. I will always keep coming back here then every year. read more

This is probably the worst place you can go to!! I got here exactly when they opened which was at 8am and it took them 6 hours to attend me just to get simple vitals and a drug test done then made me wait another 4 hours to get my physical done. They are so understaffed and HORRIBLE organization. Would never ever want to step foot in this place again. read more

How are people with disabilities supposed to be accommodated, makes absolutely no sense as they have a physical therapy section, you would think theyd have a large demographic of people with disabilities, so unfair and weird, pls add handicap parking. Lobby has ant trails which u can see in the pic they're the tiny dots, super gross. GET HANDICAP PARKING, NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY !!!!! read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. Got here 20 minutes early to get in line. When the doors opened at 8 am there was 9 people waiting in line and I was second. I've been sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes and literally every one that was here after me was called in first. Then they wouldn't let me have my wife in the room with me because they had to get permission from the provider. I highly recommend that you go to your pre determined primary care physician which is your legal right to refuse who they offer to you. They treat the patients horrible when going through traumatizing experiences. Then, straight up lie to your face when you ask why everyone is being called ahead of you. The intake lady said those patients are only having vitals taken. Which we all know is bs. They went back and went into rooms. If I could give zero stars it would be zero. read more

I would give this place a zero if i can. "Doctor" Diane isn't good at her job at all. I went in due to a work injury involving my back, she just gave me an ice pack & tylenol & sent me home saying i could go back to work when she literally didnt even bother to check my back. I told her it might be a strain and she sent me off to get x-rays when clearly it's had nothing to do with my spine. Called again this morning telling them the pain had increased and they said my "case closed" and they couldn't take me back for another check up. This place is a joke. read more

I was sent to Concentra for a Pre Employment Physical. I tried to call in on 11/7 to schedule a time which i was told i could do. I called FIVE TIMES throughout the day and only go a busy tone. Ok fine, i'll do a walk in. I walked in on 11/8 approximately 20 minutes after they opened and there was already almost 30 people sitting waiting. I was the only person standing in line, i waited like 10 minutes for the lady at the desk to even acknowledge me. Finally she called me, i explained what i needed and she told me "we can't do the physical until the 13th." Weird, a walk in place that can't do a physical for a pre employment physical until 5 days later..... So i scheduled a "appointment" for the 13th at 11:15. She then told me the drug screening and other test i had to do were quick and there were only like 3 people in front of me. I waited for over an hour and there was only like 2 people called. Fast forward to my "appointment" i showed up at 11. It wasn't until 12 o'clock that my was even asked to complete the necessary paperwork. Finally was called back to been seen did my urine test for drug screening. Took me to do the other test, which is normally monitored. She set me up and then left the room while i tested. i finished and waited for her to come back and she said "we don't have any rooms available right now. i'm going to have to wait in the lobby". i go back out to the lobby waited another 30 minutes. Get called back a second time walked to the room and this new lady said "give us a few to get everything together" wait.... wasn't that what i wait in the lobby for? Waited another 20 minutes. Finally the provider comes in starts my physical and really said "oh you're getting through here quickly" at approximately 1:40ish almost 2.5 hours after the alleged appointment i had. Not sure where any business would define that as quick service. i didn't get home until 2:15 from an "appointment" that was scheduled at 11:15 I've done a handful of these pre employment physicals. They typically take approximately 30 minutes to do the whole appointment, plus wait time. So roughly 45 minutes. never more than an hour. Definitely the only time it's take THREE HOURS for an "appointment" and for the provider to tell me "i dont know why they do that." suggesting that they don't make "appointments" like the lady at the front desk told me. Not only is this terrible business practice. It downright rude. If i had come in on a lunch break or had to do something afterward. Most people would have come in thinking ok here's an hour out of my day. ZERO respect for the time of others. I will absolutely be notifying my employer as well and hopefully they would reconsider where they chose to contract with. read more

"Doctor" Diane Paul refused to look at my injury and said "my recommendations are to look up YouTube videos of physical therapy" I told her I wanted to be seen in person by a professional and she proceeded to say "I am a professional and I recommend that you stretch everyday and you can look up professionals on YouTube" After denying health care services she proceeded to write on my discharge report that she did a "careful examination" which is untrue. She "diagnosed" me with joint pain in fingers which is also untrue. I'm 24 I don't have any joint pain anywhere on my body. She also prescribed me with "8 hours of stretching" off of YouTube videos ‍ read more

Apparently U.S. HealthWorks was acquired by Concentra. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY visiting the 1340 Mitchell Rd location. I was seen by an unprofessional, immature, and incompetent group of people yesterday, including the Nurse Practitioner (a large, Caucasian female). Long story short, they are uncaring, bumbling idiots without integrity; didn't even take my temperature or look at my throat when I went in for respiratory problems. As a registered nurse and a veteran, I will be doing my part to dissuade anyone and everyone, including fellow veterans, from stepping foot in this place.
