DK, my physical therapist, is very kind and knowledgeable, and takes care to be gentle with your injury during therapy sessions. The medical doctor and assistants are also respectful and caring. Techie was the best! she got me in and out for a drug screen super quick even when they were slammed she got me in so I didn't miss the 2pm deadline. I was only able to get there by 130. This is a typical occupational health clinic. The place where your work sends you to when you get hurt at work. Basically the doctors work for the company. Unless your seriously injured,they say that you just need therapy and prescribe Advil. Usual wait time is 2 to 3 hours. It's not their fault,they are all under staffed and overworked. Dr. Christopher Co, was the worst doctor/patient experience I have ever experienced, hands down (no pun intended). He didn't listen and he misdiagnosed me originally saying I had a broken bone in my hand and later called and said oops that's not the case, The staff were professional and courtesy but Dr. Co, absolutely has the worst bedside manners. He blatantly disregarded everything I stated about my injury. The quality of care was horrible from Dr. Co. He is located at the Abbott location near Denny's. I would never go back. read more

First time visiting this location and everything went smoothly! My annual TB test for work was due. I arrived around 11am on a Friday without an appointment and there was no line. I showed my digital authorization request and they asked me to email it to them which was quick and easy. After that, filled out some paper work and was in and out in about 10 minutes. Went back earlier today (Monday) for my TB reading and was in and out in 2 minutes. Side note, there were a lot more people. All the ladies I interacted with were great. All smiles and good vibes. Briana was professional, knowledgeable and quick, I'm not a huge fan of going to the clinics but, she made the process quick and painless. The negative reviews threw me off. The location was convenient for me so I came anyway. I'm glad I did. I stopped by at 1:30 for chest x-ray and preemployment physical. I saw this urgent care listed on my healthcare app and I went there because I thought my foot was broken. Took me about two hours to get in and they kept making me walk back-and-forth for paperwork with my really injured foot. I got an x-ray and they told me it wasn't broken but did no examination. They told me to take Tylenol and of course it didn't get better. I had to call multiple times to get my x-ray records sent over to my surgeon. They kept claiming that they couldn't send the x-rays from their office I had to call corporate. Finally someone at corporate yelled at them to get them to send them. Turns out I have multiple torn ligaments I should have been given a boot. But of course with no examination how would they know. I haven't been able to access my medical records because they only do that for employers. Do not go here outside of Workmen's Comp or drug testing. This is not a real urgent care. Additionally they had an x-ray tech do my medical screening, he was very sweet but very obviously had no idea what he was doing. Sooooo I'm back for my second visit because my employer said they listed me as a no show for my tb test. This all happened the week before I left for a three week trip to Ireland. Then I got the news from my employer just this past Sunday that they still listed me as a no show. So guess what I have to come back in and take the damn test again. read more

Concentra in gilroy has a PA Guillermo perez and he is awful!! He actually doesn't give a shit about your care. And he might flat ask you like he asked me, "how do you want me to help you"....well if I were an expert I wouldn't be asking for help. Useless! He tried to disregard my pain as being all in my head. This place is always crowded and waiting time is terrible. they made me waiting for 5 hours and kept calling, just to make sure I was still inside building during long waiting period. there are 3 waiting places (parking lot, then front desk and then patient room) and each place takes at least an hour or more. Got here around 11:20 got checked in. Said it would be a 2 hour wait. Granted I got here when it's usually a lunch break for staff. Quoted 2 hours wait time no problem I expected a wait for a walk in. I waited in my car filled out the necessary information that I got sent by text. Staff were very pleasant at the counter . Got a call around 12:25 that they were ready for me. Got my vitals done and had a nice chat with a staff member. Did have to wait maybe 30-40 mins for doctor to come in. So bring a book or headphones and a charged phone so you can stay occupied. Doctor came in and had a good exchange about my reason for visit and good advice on recovery steps. 30 mins waiting for x-ray tech he was great and quick. Got set up with my initial physical therapy appointment that day.. there was someone from another clinic there maybe a trainee they just popped up with two other people shortly after I got there.. she was very pleasant gave me tips and exercise ideas but I didn't find that I got good treatment for initial visit. I've been to a different PT place for a previous injury and they did pretty great stuff that made an impact right away. Hopefully next one with the original staff will be better. So total time since check in to leaving approximately 4 hours. Yes things take a while but it's obvious they are busy here. Try to get here right when they open, or even earlier. Don't underestimate the wait time or schedule anything important close to when you THINK you'll be done, to avoid anxiety. I've been here twice now for work requirements, both during Covid19, both times around 9am and the wait was at least an hour. It's less frustrating the second round when you know what kind of (rather lack of) timeframe to expect. There were already 3-4 people waiting before me. My services (N95 mask fitting, TB skin test and flu shot) were walk-in only, so I don't know if having an appointment would help move things along faster. I would hope so! The process itself is short and sweet. Majority of the staff are friendly, making the experience suck a little less. PS - I've always gotten my flu shots at the doctor's or pharmacy but I knocked it out here since I had a company letter to cover it. I was stunned this was the most painless compared to years past! :) Shots are no big deal to me so it doesn't say much, but usually you reach a point of discomfort before they pull the needle out. As promised the other day, here's the updated review of this particular facility. This has to be the worst medical facility period. I can definitely say that this is the worst medical facility that I have been to and I have been to a lot of them from when I was a kid going to AcuteCare located next to the dental offices in the civic center area. The folks here chose not to have me perform the weight test, which was required by my new employer. I recall saying something along the lines of "We'll skip it." It's no wonder the results received by the HR department at my new employer yesterday morning came back with results pending. And they didn't list what was pending. WTH? Is this done for all those who has come through the door, especially when the employer requires it for all new employees prior to their start date? Or was this only in my case? Who knows? I would suggest avoiding this particular location. read more

I went to Concentra for a work related injury not knowing what to expect. I must say I was a pleasantly surprise with the service I received. From the front desk staff (Jojo, Gemma and Genesis) to the back office staff (Janet, Techie and Bao) to the doctors (Dr. Yein and PA Wu) and last but certainly not least the physical therapists (Ariana and Ping), they went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. They were all very friendly, kind and courteous and always worked with me to schedule future appointments and physical therapy sessions. I have been treated at this location for over a year. The front office staff are welcoming and gets me registered quickly. There are usually no long wait times, walk in take a little less than 80 minutes. What I appreciate is that I have personally witnessed the front office receptionist Jojo meticulously clean and sanitize the waiting room numerous times. Gevesis and Gemma are very kind and professional. Recieving needed documents that has to be signed by the physicians are returned in an acceptable amount of time considering all of the new regulations and they make sure to follow up with me. In the back office Janet, Bao, and Teechie who assists me more often are patient with me, especially when I am in lots of pain, she makes sure that I have what I need before Ieaving. Dr. Karen Yien, the center director is AWESOME, she is extremely personable and passionate about her patients. She took the time to listen to me and in turn I have helped me mentally and physically. The Staff at the Concentra Milpitas Main Street location really seems to care for thier patients. 10/10! read more

This Concentra location took great care of me right after an almost fatal work related injury. The front office staff was as professional as I've seen in a clinic. Everyone willing to help and assist in any way possible. Quality customer service is important to them and it shows. The Medical assistants were professional but also personable. Everyone moved quickly with finesse. Dr. Karin Yien was also very professional and handled my situation and injury with patience and care. So unprofessional and racist. My boyfriend came in here yesterday for a work drug test before he can start his first day. Whoever was working the front desk made my boyfriend so uncomfortable he had to leave and ask his job for a different location to go to get tested. As he was checking in she rudely asked him if he was even going to pass. EVEN? Like foreal this is how you deal with patients? Second, she asked not once but three times if he was sure he would pass after he told her straight up he's never even done drugs. She then replied, "that wasn't so hard to answer was it". If I could give negatives stars, I would. This place is ridiculous and is a joke. I'm surprised it's still up and running and I feel really bad for the people who's insurance coverage can only be through here, they're that terrible. My boyfriend came here because he fell off the ladder at work (a board fell on his head, his body hitting medal as he fell almost a 10ft drop) and his stupid work made him file for workers comp. From my understanding, you don't NEED to but they made him do it. ANYWAY, me and him came here to get his head checked and bruises on his arms. We waited nearly 2 HOURS just to even get us a room. They didn't even fully get his vitals checked, or even a normal routine as if you went to the doctors. They checked for his eyesight, they ASKED HIM what his height and weight were instead of checking like you're normally supposed to do. We then got seated to the room, the assistant was nice (probably the only one that's nice there, s/o Filipino lady) then another 30 MINUTES until the "doctor" came in and wow. I swear she did NOT do the tests she needed to do for his case and SHE WAS RUDE! Not doctor material if you ask me. They couldn't do a scan because they were closing at 5 and it was already 4:55pm but not to mention we were there since 1:30pm. Also, the X-ray process he was in was not pretty either. So then the doctor told him to schedule for a scan, we were advised that we should just go to the hospital and get it done there (which thank god we did because then we found out he did have a concussion!!!!!)also, they called the next day saying he had an appointment when we CLEARLY said we were gonna go to the hospital instead. the doctor at this stupid place also prescribed my boyfriend a medication that I showed the doctor at the hospital which he advised to NOT take. So ridiculous.... Now here we are, the hospital telling my boyfriend to go see a neurologist but this stupid place won't answer our phone calls anymore nor give a referral. They won't give my boyfriends work an excuse note from work completely, they said he's able to go back. The hospital advised him to not go back to work until he feels ok and obviously he isn't. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. I would rather self care for myself than go to this shit place. read more

Wonderful, such kind and thoughtful staff. Last week as I was entering the front office for my therapy, I tripped hit my knee, elbow and head on the door jam, landing face down on the ground. They immediately called an ambulance and brought Dr Yien who took care of me with ice/pillow and accessed my well being. Shout outs to Jojo and Techie and all the team, best care ever. Apologies to those who left with the wait that day, I do appreciate it's hard to wait as I have also done. Extra staffing would alleviate that and allow for everyone to eat lunch every day. A Disgusting and disorganized establishment. I accidentally cut my hand at work with a knife last week and my Worker's Compensation rep sent me here to have my stitches analyzed by one of their doctors. After arriving, I waiting nearly 2 hours until I finally got to see somebody. 2 hours!!! Already frustrated, I was expecting to see a real doctor but a "Physician's Assistant" saw me instead. After she looked at my stitches and previous paperwork from Kaiser, (It said the stitches need to stay for another week) she insisted that the stitches and wound was healed and needed to be taken off. Let me remind you, the paperwork said to not touch the stitches for another week. This lady decided to take out one of my stitches and it re-opened my entire wound. I may be no professional but does a "Physician's Assistant" have the authority to make such a decision? Wouldn't it be a doctor or nurse? And here's the kicker, while she was attending my wound, she was wearing NO GLOVES! How unsanitary is that? What kind of medical and business practices does this place adhere to? I have no clue.
