It's one thing to be confused. Misunderstandings happen. But when the entire front desk staff is condescending and dismissive about a patient's concerns, I get angry.
Please excuse this lengthy and detailed rant. I will provide a summary so you can get the gist/skip over my full report:
To all working professionals,
We urge you not to use Alliance Occupational Medicine for any type of service. The workers are absolutely condescending, rude, and disrespectful. This sort of behavior is unacceptable in any type of professional environment.
The services are not reliable. Expect to wait an endless amount of days to have simple test results be returned to you.
I am appalled that we endured such an experience. We will never return to this location, or any of the other branches.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to avoid such incidents.

BEGIN RANT:
My fiance needed to get some blood work done. He's a vet student. It's important to make sure he still has the rabies antibodies present in his system with a simple blood titer. He e-mailed one of the administrators responsible for overlooking the Milpitas branch, and was assured that the test would be available.
When we got to the clinic office and asked for the rabies blood titer, the girl in the front looked at him like he was stupid. (Obviously, he's not!)
Girl 1: "Rabies titer? No, we don't have that. Sorry."
Fiance: "I spoke with your administrator. I have the e-mail. She said you guys have it."
Girl 1: "Aye, ___ (talks to someone sitting behind her.) Do we have that?"
Girl 2: "No, I've never heard of it."
Girl 1: "Yeah, no. See? We don't have it."
This went on for a while, with the girl summoning other people in the office with the same inquiry. She yelled to a PA who walked by, and we were met with the same, "No, you're mistaken. We don't have it," response.
After ten minutes, a team of the workers -- team, because three people were now assisting with this simple matter -- finally listened and relented to seeing the e-mail that we had willingly offered to them (since the beginning!). Actually, they had him forward them the e-mail.
Then they were like, "Oh, we can do that."
The fiance asked for confirmation on what the test was called.
"It's called a rabies titer."
We looked at each other and frowned. We had been asking for that test the entire time. We understand that it's rare to have someone ask for the rabies titer. It's not common. Okay. But to have the entire staff be so disrespectful is utterly unacceptable.
They told us that results would be completed within ten business days. This was done near the end of June. With the 4th of July celebrations occurring in the middle of the week, we knew the results would be a little delayed.
We called them after a reasonable amount of days to inquire about the results. They had no idea. They said they would call the lab, then call me back, but no call was received. I tried again a few days later. Again, no luck. I called back four more times (or more?). And I think they finally got the point that I was angry, because they finally called the lab, and had the lab call me. The lab tech told us that the rabies titer takes longer than ten days to analyze. Note the discrepancy from what Alliance had told us.
We finally got the results at the beginning of August. The entire process went from June until August. If we had known it would take that long, we would have just done the test through the GHILT at the AVMA convention. And we would have gotten faster results! -______-
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
I've never felt such anger/hate for a business -____-
Bottom line: THEY MAJORLY SUCK! URGHHH!
