Wait times are over two hours here; signed in 1020 and left 1305. The lady said upon check in that the wait times were 45min-1hr from checkin to checkout. Sigh. Be prepared to wait. Once called and seen by the person doing vitals you then wait another 20 minutes for the provider to start your exam. Wait times are ridiculous and there was no place to book appointments from the site. Calling on the phone directs you to online services. The good thing here is if you park in the garage (make sure it's the right one) your ticket gets validated. Poor me, I parked in the "wrong" garage which is on the same Charles street near courthouse. When I went in concentra, I showed the lady the pass and asked if I get this validated. She said yes. As I'm leaving I ask for ticket validation then she proceeds to say "oh which garage did you park in, we only validate xyz garage." Okkk!!! There are two garages less than a minute from the place. This could've been communicated when I entered and questioned about this. I could've easily moved my car. The people were nice for the most part. The practitioner was the nicest one there. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. I was stuck three times for one lab work and was told on try number 2 that I'd have to come back if I wanted someone else to try. No sir, not after waiting over two hours. But anyway, hope I don't have to come back. read more

I can't believe I had to wait 2 hour just to be enter in and wait more to be served! The urgent care side is THE WORST. It doesn't matter if you are a walk in or if you have an appointment, you will wait for HOURS. The front desk staff is polite, when they aren't ignoring you because they're too concerned with having personal conversations about nothing work related. The Dr will tell you they are busy and don't have time for you, and rush you through the entire visit, completely interrupting you every time you try to speak. The MAs seems to be the only people genuinely interested in your health. They do have a coffee & water station that is clean, and they do validate parking. So I guess they have that going for them. The PT side, however, is AMAZING. They are punctual, friendly, take the time to listen, and will work with you as much as they can to get you back to 100% without pushing you too far. 1 for the urgent care - for the MA. 5 for PT. I visited this Concentra location for a pre-employment drug screening. I was immediately greeted once I entered this Concentra site. I informed the receptionist that I was there for a pre-employment drug screening and provided the requested documents. I was instructed to fill out two forms: one form was regarding my COVID-19 status and the other form regarding the pre-employment drug screening. Shortly afterward, it was announced that there was a drug screening present. Within minutes, I was greeted by Concentra's employee Bob. Bob escorted me to a designated area of the facility scanned the pre-employment for form requested that I review information that was displayed on the computer monitor. I was then asked to hang my coat on a nearby hook, remove everything in my pockets, and place the contents in a locker. Bob instructed me how much urine was needed to submit for the drug screening. As instructed, I submitted the urine to Bob and signed the chain of custody forms. Overall, I had an excellent experience at this Concentra location. read more

Five stars is for Dr. Meyer, who is a great doctor, and the radiology technician, whose name I didn't get. Dr. Meyer was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, despite having to see a large number of patients. He followed up with me on a Saturday, his day off, and went above and beyond to help me get a tetanus shot. read more

I visited this location for a suspected broken finger. The desk staff was friendly and I waited for a little over an hour which isn't that outrageous for an urgent care walk in. Once I was seen, I was given an X-ray and then waited for it to be read by another staff member. I was told the X-ray was "a bit suspicious" but that they weren't sure if it was a fracture so they'd send it to the radiologist. About 2 hours after I got home, I got a call saying the radiologist also wasn't sure so they recommended I see a primary care doctor. This is absolutely ridiculous as it can take weeks to get an appointment. I expect an urgent care to be able to properly read an X-ray and treat the injury. Don't come here if you need any prompt care. read more

Plan to be here for at least an hour before your name is called. This location is Not sanitizing between patients at all, Not the ink pens,clipboards or front dest. Some chairs are at least 6 ft apart but for the most part Wearing a Mask is mandatory. There is currently thirteen people waiting to be seen. I needed a lavage treatment. I waited just 15 minutes before meeting with the medical staff. Such a short wait is notable, given the present COVID crisis. The CNP was excellent, and the medical assistant who performed the lavage, Quita, was simply outstanding. I highly recommended this facility in downtown Baltimore. read more

Short and sweet ! I have a sore throat so I decided to come here instead of Patient First. This urgent care is a ten minute walk from my house which is great. When I first entered there was no one there, which I thought was odd. Maybe because people are not sick anymore due to the warm weather. I waited at the counter and signed in. The receptionist gave me two forms to fill out. I was called to the front and was asked for my insurance card and photo ID. I have to say, they didn't give directions after they call you up. The receptionist took my ID and I waited. She gave me my ID and I sat back down. Five or ten minutes later they called me to the back, I had the pleasure working with Anita today. She asked me what was wrong, I told her I think I have tonsillitis. She took a swab of my neck and sent it to the lab. I waited for maybe 5 minutes if that and the doctor came in and examine me. I believe his name is Dr. Qureshi, he told me I diagnosed myself correctly. He gave me a prescription and told me to wait outside. I waited about 10 minutes, you have to wait until they call your name. Surprisingly I didn't have to pay anything. At Patient First I always have to pay 50.00 up front. I was very skeptical about this place due to the bad reviews, I would say my total time at Concentra was an hour. I will definitely come here again if I need urgent care. Came here for stomach issues and waited four hours before I was seen by a nurse practitioner. The ladies at the front desk sat there eating candy and talking instead of filing my information, which added fifteen minutes to my wait time. Cleanliness is not great either. I knows it's downtown Baltimore, but I expected the place to be slightly cleaner. They were friendly, but it took a huge portion of my day to even be seen. No doctor is staffed here either, so not all insurances will cover the visit. read more

I visited the center following a fall. I called first and was told there was a long wait. I went anyway and was seen within 20-30 minutes. The entrance is quite ugly, but the office and staff are very nice, once you enter. The Nurse Practitioner was very nice. They took an x-ray and provided the results and advice and instructions. Not a good experience. Got there right at opening and only a few people ahead of me, but still a total of 3 hours spent. Would have been better off all around just going to my doctor's office. Had a bad cold and cough that i couldn't shake after 3 weeks. Many nights laying awake coughing. Over an hour wait before i got led to the back, surprisingly long for so few patients there. Then after nurse doing unrelated stuff like weighing me and my hieght, more waiting in room. Doctor was nice, few minutes in their before i got a weak antibotic and weaker cough pills. Then it was back to waiting room to wait again. Still very few patients, but another well over an hour to get my paperwork so i could goto the pharmacy. Finally got out after nearly 3 hours. Now it is 6 hours later, coughing as bad as ever. Debating if i need to run to cvs and pick up some robatussin and wish i could have that 3 hours back. The purpose of going to an urgent care is supposed to be quicker than scheduling at a doctors office or going to the ER and a place to get prescriptions when over the counter isnt working. I'm not sure why there have been so many bad reviews; if you're going to an urgent care clinic rather than a primary care doctor, you should expect a long wait. You're NEVER going to be in and out in a place like this! However, my wait at Concentra was shorter and much more pleasant than it's ever been at Patient First or any other urgent care facility. The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful, the waiting area was clean and included tons of books (!!) instead of just old magazines, as well as free water, tea, and coffee. I had an in-house strep and flu test, and including my test result wait times and my exam time, I was there for a total of a little over 2 hours, even with a pretty packed waiting room. I can't stress enough how pleasant the front desk staff and the nurses were. No, it wasn't very quick, but it was a much better experience than I expected. read more

I went at Concentra Baltimore for a pre-employment medical screening. I am aware that the average wait time is about 3 hours which was doable for me. I worked in healthcare and wait times are sometimes unpredictable. The physician who examined me was very nice. However, it has been 6 business days since they collected my specimen and they have not relayed the information to my employer. I spoke to Rihanna and initially she was dismissive but changed her tone when she founds out that I work in health care myself. Nevertheless, she implied that if the results are not in yet by Monday, I will have to retest the exam --- there is no way I will come back to any Concentra facilities if they misplaced and/or interchanged my specimen to someone else. This facility should be reported to accrediting and regulatory agencies if indeed those negligent and irresponsible actions occurred (misplacing specimens; delayed relaying of information). The most unfortunate thing was, my employer PAID them for this service. read more

As others have noted, the wait time was very long. That would have been tolerable had the doctor been helpful, but he was arrogant, dismissive, and seemed to be discriminatory against women. Dr. Hill first spelled his name during his introduction as though I was unable to read his name tag and then asked me to explain what the issue was. Not halfway into my first sentence he interrupted me asking why I thought I had pain where I said I had pain. He continued to interrupt me as I attempted to explain my issue and then before I could even finish he proceeded to tell me how he couldn't help me. Besides not being helpful, he gave the impression that he thinks women are not as smart as men and implied some other things about women that I won't elaborate on. There was a relatively short wait, and the manager was extremely courteous, making sure were comfortable and kept us posted with wait time. I asked for an approximate wait time and received one that was accurate but longer than I'd have liked. Fortunately, I was mentally prepared for a wait since I was forewarned. This would not be my preferred option for urgent issues, but the health professionals are relatively prompt and attendant once inside. I was visiting Baltimore on business and took a fall on some stairs. My back was really killing me so I decided to get it checked out. I was staying at an Inner Harbor hotel, so this was the closest clinic I could find. I found the folks at this clinic to be kind, professional, and efficient. I was in and out in probable 2-2.5 hours, which I think is reasonable for a walk-in. I've waited longer in some ER's. The doc (R. Lamson) was great; listened to me, examined me, and provided some treatment and advice. Thankfully I wasn't mortally wounded, just beat up. :-). He was compassionate and engaged, which was reassuring. The folks at the front were kind and efficient in getting my paperwork completed and directing me to the nearest pharmacy. The facility is clean and nice enough, but not plush. My copay was reasonable considering the service provided. They appear to do a lot of pre-employment physicals and regulatory-driven drug testing. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this clinic if you're in town and don't know where to go. read more

I was at this location on 4/30/12 for a leg injury.. customer service is non exixitent here!! The "nurse" repeatedly had me coming and going to the desk. When I had a visible limp and was not able to walk properly. If I could walk I would have taken myself to Patiuent FIrst.at least hey have whellchairs and customer service....Then I had to walk to the exam room. I had to walk to the xray room. I mean really . no wheelchair naywhere for someone with a leg injury.. SUUCKS!!!!! i would not send my cat here.. and I dont have a cat. read more
