They recommended a very skillful installer who did a fine job. This time we went back to them for a solid wood floor for our bedroom. Again they recommended an installer who did a great job for us. We cannot say enough good things about Planet Hardwood. They have an excellent facility where you can view wood samples very efficiently. They have a huge supply of many different kinds of excellent quality wood. Their customer service and support is the best. They are always available in person or on the phone to answer any questions.

From purchase through Julia Cozza to the delivery, was an exceptional experience. Julia handled my multitude of questions with concern and clarity. The delivery was spot on time, gave me a call 15 minutes out. I live in a very old house with narrow doorways and steep steps. Jack and Ray delivered these appliances after many measurements, without any complaints as to the difficulty. Took off my doors with great care and hauled these heavy appliances up my narrow back steps weaving around a railing where there was not 1/4 inch to spare. They took care and time with all aspects, from Jack showing me tips of how to use the induction range to Ray making sure I was careful about putting frozen food into the freezer before it was at the temperature required. I truly valued their help and most important to me, was their attitude of concern towards me, the homeowner and the respect it reflected towards Bouchard Pierce. I will never shop anywhere else, ever.

We recently decided to purchase a Bertazzoni induction range from Bouchard-Pierce rather than a…read moreless expensive online retailer to support local business. While the sales staff and installation teams were both friendly and knowledgeable, we have now had the worst customer service experience I've had in decades. Fair warning! In less than 5 weeks, a knob broke on the range making the burner inoperable. It's now been over 7 weeks since we reported it and we are yet to get it fixed. In the interim, another knob has broken. We are out $6k and the customer service team could honestly care less. Their communication has been basically nonexistent and the two times we've had to call to follow up, the sales rep was incredibly rude, interrupting me constantly and passing the buck on down the line to anyone she could think of- throwing her sales team under the bus, blaming Bertazzoni, and basically telling us that neither she nor Bouchard-Pierce were remotely responsible. I run a global customer success and services team and if any of my colleagues treated a customer the way we've been treated, they'd be terminated immediately. While I understand that there are constraints in any system, I know what decent customer service looks like and this is NOT IT. I hate that I can't recommend these folks because I am a very loyal local business supporter but this has been a truly terrible experience.

We paid them a large amount of money to special paint our upper cabinets which were not only grossly the wrong color, but quality of the paint was unacceptable which has several damaged, dings and huge errors in paint. These issues are beyond minor in defect and reflect a failure in both workmanship and communication. I requested remediation in a timely manner with photos and was denied by their contracted 802 Cabinetry dealer (who owns them which is a conflict!) and additionally them as they report my issues to be industry standards. Once you pay this company, they do not care about you or your cabinets. They lack any and all empathy or basic human understanding of a home. I am a mom of 3 children, and this was my 1 time being able to redo our kitchen and KOB has completely failed me. Although I have full acknowledgement from Briann their sales rep that my experience has been terrible and they failed on numerous fronts, they will NOT remedy this in any manner. I will be taking them to court to rectify this 10,000+ error in their service and quality of work. DO NOT SHOP HERE! It is illegal and immoral what they are doing to people.

The back was buckled, drawers moved poorly, veneer on the sides was cracking and buckling off. They did such a beautiful restoration job. The chests gleam, the drawers move smoothly, the wood is a joy to touch, the veneer carefully bolstered. They kept to the original wood as much as possible, adding small pieces where there were gaps in drawer bottoms or where shims were needed. They made the right choice in choosing not to refinish the hidden face of the bottom chest, protecting records inked into the wood by and about the original purchaser. We'll definitely bring other antiques we inherited to the brothers, and highly recommend their work to others.

We love our new furniture--but the customer service experience was disappointing…read more My husband and I were excited to purchase a new bedroom set. After comparing prices, we found that Burlington Furniture was quoting us $2,000 more than a California company, even with shipping and assembly included. Still, we wanted to support a local business, so we returned to Burlington Furniture, and they agreed to match the competitor's price. We were given an estimated delivery date of 4/30. When we followed up, we were surprised to hear that our furniture wouldn't arrive for nearly two more months. We understand that delays happen, but we were frustrated by the lack of communication. I called the manager to get clarity and was told that the employee who gave us that update was no longer with the company. She promised to follow up--which she did--but she didn't provide a new delivery timeline. Instead, she told us the order wasn't actually delayed and that deliveries typically arrive two weeks after the estimated date. It's unclear why the original estimate wouldn't account for that window, and what's worse, I never heard back from the manager again. Ultimately, the delivery company brought our furniture just five days after the estimated date, which we appreciated--but the poor communication and lack of accountability from Burlington Furniture left a bad impression. We're happy with the product, but extremely disappointed in the service. Sadly, this experience has cost Burlington Furniture a customer.

The place is huge! It is pretty well organized. There is furniture throughout. There is a section for bathtubs---beautiful old clawfoot bathtubs. Oh yes, there is a section of just clawfeet too! There are tons of old doors, windows, reclaimed wood, cabinets, hardware, and so much more. I could spend hours in that place. And don't worry, I will. It was pretty cold in there today and my partner in crime was being a baby so I had to dillydally and linger less than I wanted to. The prices as marked were highish, but they are probably negotiable. I've got my mind on several pieces so I will update when I go back.
