No frills, wasn't going to be doing gaming, etc. Just needed another workhorse. The owner had one on the counter that he assured me was barely used, was not considered used. HP 250 G6 with 15" screen, yada yada. I paid a little over $500 for it. It has only been used for light word processing and telehealth during the pandemic. I used doxy for file storage so the computer isn't actually using much storage space. My 2006 HP is still running!!!, it's just that it won't support Windows or doxy and it's slow as heck. I have 2 Used Lenovo's I bought off of Ebay in 2014. They technically still run, but same software update issues. 4 YEARS almost to the day, the HD has died! I'm pretty sure he sold me a Dud!!

We talked about replacing with a solid-state drive but I think we came to the conclusion that it was slow because of competing virus software. So he was very good and spent a lot of time with me giving me the options. And we chose the cheaper safer route first and then will discuss options if the problem persists. This was great I didn't spend a lot of time or money to find out the issue he was very patient with me and I would definitely return with any PC issues.

Although they didn't resolve my Windows reboot loop issues, they were able to remove the hard drive and save most of my data despite the many hard drive errors. Dealing with Lisa and Jonathan was a pleasure. After examining my machine, they said I needed a whole new keyboard. In addition I got pictures of the inside, showing a lot of dust and dirt. Since they had to order a new keyboard, they returned my machine and gave my a plug-in board to use in the meantime. When the board came in, I returned the machine for repair, which was done the next day. I thought the price was reasonable for the repair and cleaning. My laptop now seems brand new. Their office is a little hole-in-the-wall on Vernon St., just off of Rte. 9. Easy to miss.
