    I called and explained what was needed, I had new parts for a broken laptop and was quoted $140 for…read morethe repair, and it was estimated the repair would take a few days, a week at most. I brought in the computer and parts, the intake was quick and professionally done. So far, so good. I received a call that my laptop was ready for pickup less than a week later. When I arrived, I was told that I didn't have all the parts needed to repair it correctly. The laptop functioned, but the hinges didn't attach correctly and were rubbing against the motherboard. If I kept the laptop open it would be fine, but if I repeatedly opened and closed it, it could break. But isn't that the purpose of a laptop, it's supposed to be portable, it's not a desktop. The technician was under the impression I was in a rush, so there was a little miscommunication, that said, a call only takes a few minutes to let a customer know there is an issue. So I do appreciate that the technician was polite, that the repair labor estimate was correct, and that it was ready within the window provided. However, it doesn't work correctly and since I didn't get a call during the repair process, letting me know additional parts were needed to do the job correctly, I couldn't make an informed decision. It was neither the best of times or the worst of times. Will I return? I'd probably check out another place first.
