He said it was an easy fix, and didn't charge me a dime. (Free) that what I call honest and the highest level of customer service. I send all my friends and family to him.

I was also grateful that he was then happy to jump on a three-way support call with the hardware provider to talk through needs. And the final reason I was a big fan of his work was that even after 20+ year in the industry, he still considers himself a student of the craft and is open to learning new things. Eg the support specialist gave a new code/hack to try out, and Robert was very open to trying it out and thankful of this new learning.

Unfortunately when they put the system back together, promising to return the next day with the proper parts, the system started overheating and smelled like it was burning. I took it to my regular computer repair person who said that the burning smell was from the electrical component of the CD burner which had been been plugged in incorrectly reversing the polarity. Unfortunately for this reason, despite the fact that I liked them quite a bit, I can't recommend them.

I wasn't sure where to go so I turned to the trusted Yelp community and thank goodness I did! I decided to go with The Computer Cellar for the win and was very pleased.
