We purchased a camper from Camping World in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and the entire experience has…read morebeen one headache after another. From the start, they tried to sell me a trailer hitch at full price even though it was discounted on their own website. When I pointed this out, the salesman disappeared to "talk to his manager" and came back claiming the original $1,000 price included installation and labor -- which apparently meant sliding the hitch into the back of my truck for an extra $500. It felt like a scam from the beginning. After signing the paperwork and driving an hour home, they called the next day saying they had "lost" or thrown away our paperwork and wanted us to drive all the way back to fix their mistake. We refused, so they mailed it instead. We took our "new winterized unit" camping the following weekend, and on day one the flow sensor in the tankless hot water heater cracked and leaked water the entire trip. We called our salesman and the service department twice over the weekend and never received a single call back. A month and a half later, someone from Camping World finally called to ask how we liked our purchase. When I explained everything that happened the hitch issue, the lost paperwork, the lack of communication, and the water heater failure they said they'd call back. When they did, the service manager told us to call them so they could "maybe" warranty the issue. Which I do have a text message from our salesman saying " it will for sure be covered" At this point, I wouldn't recommend Camping World in Bowling Green to anyone. Between the upselling games, the poor communication, and the lack of accountability, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

My husband has installed one himself, we've paid to have one installed professionally, and we've had multiple companies out for repairs over the years. I actually found Derryberry's through a Reddit recommendation. The woman who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. They came out the next day, diagnosed our existing mini-split, and provided a quote for a replacement system. The quote was reasonable, and there were discounts and rebates available. We ultimately chose Derryberry's based on the reviews, pricing, and warranty. Scheduling was easy, and the installation team was efficient and professional. My husband was especially happy with the quality of the Mitsubishi mini-split installation, which says a lot given our previous experiences. We've had the system for about a month so far and everything has been working well. I'll update this review over time because, in my opinion, the true test of an HVAC installation is how the system performs years down the road and how the company handles any maintenance or warranty issues that arise.

I was proud of my truck, but it had seen better days after being on the road and helping me lug my music equipment etc. I've had good rental car experiences with Nissan brand cars, so I wanted to give the Gallatin Nissan dealership a try. Was in the market for a lightly used car or truck anywhere between 2020 to 2024. With the help of the friendly sales associate Ray, I settled for a 2024 Nissan frontier pick up double cab. She only had a little over 19,000 miles on her and still in good shape. When I traded in my old car, I was able to get the final price to just $5000 over the original cost of my Toyota Tacoma back in 2013. Grateful to have found a truck, with the help of Ray of course. He was nice, personable, and never once pressured me into a sale. Two or three weeks later (yesterday afternoon - I'm writing this at midnight Central because I'm a night owl), I purchased stay flatbed cover for my Nissan frontier. I had managed to assemble it on my own at around 85% completion, but the instructions it came with weren't entirely clear towards the end. I contacted Ray at the dealership in hopes that he knew somebody at the shop who could help me assemble it more professionally. With the help of his associates, Matt and Mitch, and a little bit of my own elbow grease, the three of them were able to help me save probably hundreds of dollars and helped me point out some minor mistakes I made in the assembly process. I'm not going to throw any other companies under the bus, but someone wanted to charge me four to $500 for their services. Ray and his friends helped me keep those numbers remaining in my bank accounts. The point of the story is that, if you are new to the middle Tennessee area and are looking to upgrade, but not looking for an actual new car, reach out to Ray at Nissan Gallatin, Tennessee. He'll point you in the right direction of a great car, and if you're nice to him And other employees of the dealership, they might do you a favor down the road.

I had a TERRIBLE experience at Town/Country Ford in Madison, TN. Here's why:…read more1) They charged 3480.00 to install a 150.00 water pump on my 2017 Ford Escape! I was forced to go to a dealership because they had the tools to do the job, which my local car repair did not. 2) When I wanted to get a detailed summary of why the cost was so much, I could not get anyone to talk to me or call me back soon. They put me on hold, they sent me to voice mail, finally a store manager came on the line and got on to ME for being upset because their was only one man working the service line and I should just be more patient (he implied the patience I should have). It is hard to be patient when you've just been told your repair would be 3480.00 with NO understanding of why! 3) Anyone who is not in the know about car repairs at the dealership must be given a heads up about what they charge for labor: approx. 295.00/hour! This is common courtesy! 4) I was so upset the man who was running the service line (by himself) said they would give me something off. When I got there to pick up my car, the cashier knew nothing about this promise. Again, I was upset at the poor treatment. Also, I see a sign that says "a 3% charge for any debit or credit card used, 3.00 for every 100.00." Again, a hardship, since when does a company with big repair costs ask their customers to pay extra just to use a credit/debit card? I ended up getting a 10% discount, because I demanded they make good on what I was told. This was helpful for sure, but I wondered at why I had to be put through all the stress and high costs in order to get 10% off. If you come to this business, be ready for a huge bill and lots of stress.
