Everything was ready to go when I got home. I had an issue today and within 5 minutes of walking in the door they had fixed it! Really nice to have a computer shop you can trust!

I came to this business before and the service was just OK. This time my experience was just…read morehorrible. I came for repairs like last time and right off the gal that took my information was half asleep and uninterested. I guess she took my concerns down so I figured I'd continue and see how it goes, a mistake that was. The following week the tech, who "worked" on my laptops, contacted me by phone and he proceed to lecture me about my laptops being too old and he strongly recommended I not connect to the internet with them. He kept on about it through out the call, even though it was not was i was wanting or asking help on, I needed physical repairs on two of them. He spoke like he was an expert but said he couldn't fix them. It seemed like he was pushing me to purchase new laptops they sell as mine were too far gone. He charged me $50 a piece and all i got was a fixed pin in the charging port of one. I was a bit upset about this conversation but figured i could read his notes on my invoice for better understanding as I was at work when he called. I asked him to put what he did on the invoice and I would come and get the laptops soon. When I arrived I paid the $150 for the "repairs" and took the receipt. On my way home i reviewed the invoice and got even more upset. The tech pretty much gave me another similar lecture about the computers being too old, "20 years old" which was a complete lie. He did not document what he did and didn't even put the right customer's account information on the invoice like my name and address. It was under someone else. I was so upset that they didn't do much of anything I called them when I got home. I called their store and briefly spoke with the tech as he picked up the phone, I demanded to speak with the owner and the tech supposedly forwarded my message to the owner (Chad) as Chad wasn't available at the moment. Over the next week I attempted to contact Chad but could only leave messages with the tech. Chad would take his time and call me back when I was not available. We played a little phone tag but I discontinued my efforts to get satisfaction when Chad continued to call me at times when I was at work and I requested for him to call me afterwards. He didn't and he made no additional efforts to address my concerns. This was a bad experience. Watch these guys if you have repairs that are needed as they'll take your money and its a real possibility they'll rip you off, as that is completely how i feel. I will not go back as I had my laptops repaired elsewhere in town. BEWARE!

I think I got ripped off. Hear me out first. I took my computer in to have two things checked out,…read morethe hinge and the battery because I'm having to leave my laptop plugged in for use. The employee that assisted me said he'll fix the hinge and give me a call back later that day about the battery situation. A whole week went by and no phone call, so I called them back. I explained my situation to the employee and he said he was completely oblivion about the situation/information of my laptop, so he said he'll look into it and call me back. He called be back and said the hinge is fixed but the battery will have to be ordered. A couple of days went by and I called. The employee first said its not the battery that's the problem, it's the motherboard.....SAY WHAT!!!! I told him I'll keep managing my laptop, when can I come to pick it up? He said I can come later today, we close at 6. So I went to pick it up and he told me that the battery was the problem and that he replaced it. So I asked him that I won't have to keep it plugged in to stay on? He said yes. I paid and left. As soon as I got home, I turned the computer on and it started to flicker, as if it's about to die but the battery is fully charged. It has been 16 days since my laptop got "fixed" and I still have to leave it plugged in to use it. I'm not sure what he "fixed" but I think I got ripped off!

The laptop eventually ran out of battery and the charging light wouldn't even come on. So I took it back and apparently when doing the hard-drive repair they hadn't reconnected some of the wiring inside the laptop, therefore making it unable to charge. They fixed it but I'm still pissed that that even happened! If you're going to repair laptops at least put them back together properly.

They want to charge way to much money. He told me $80 to download windows 11 on my gaming PC which…read moreonly takes like 15-20 min so I thought that was super steep, but whatever. I get there and he try's to charge me $160. I said you said $80? he goes I've never charged that for windows I don't know why I said that. I'm like idk either, but you sure did. Then he tells me that my cable management was terrible and they can redo it, but it'll probably take them at least 2 hours. I said go ahead I spent a lot of money on this pc I would like to take care of it. I show up to pick up my pc and he try's to charge me $250. I said holy crap, why? he said it took them almost 3 hours. I said, your guy told me it took him a little over an hour. I negotiated and paid $200 for windows and cable management, but they tried to lie twice about their pricing and what really happened. I get home and realize some of my components aren't working. Figured it out, he didn't even plug in the right cables to the motherboard. I was furious and wanted to call them for a refund, but just thought I'd leave a bad review. Don't go there, they are lazy people and don't give a crap how long it takes to get your product back to you. lazy and a bunch of liars. they also just open and close the store whenever they want so you never know if they are actually open. Honestly the whole thing was a joke. Go to PC Pros in Springfield, they are legit! They also actually know what they're talking about.

Went back to the store for refund. They said they weren't able to install pro, but charged me $150 to reinstall Windows home. As far as I see it I got scammed. They wouldn't issue a refund. Complete scam artists. Complete lack of courtesy, even insulted my career. Zero stars.
