Worst hospital in the world I tried leaving a few hours early when I had my child here. Both OBGYNs…read morefrom my practice that I am a patient at said it was totally fine and they would allow me to be released. My pediatrician does not do visits at this hospital so I was stuck with whatever pediatrician was on site at this hospital when I asked for an early release and told them I would sign whatever paperwork necessary to leave. I was greeted by CPS and harassed by the on-call pediatrician who proceeded to threaten me even though myself, and my child were healthy and ready to go. This is an absolute awful hospital. I do not recommend you being here if you can avoid it. I had a lovely experience at the South location. However, that one is been shut down because they wanted to funnel everyone to this specific location. The rooms were small and dirty. Mine had no working AC. The showers are so small that you don't have any elbow room to move literally had to spin in a circle to get the water all over my body and the water pressure was down to a trickle. You feel like you're in a prison. The TV is awful. The lights feel like an operating room. You can't get them low enough to feel relaxed. Oh and did I forget to mention after being in labor for over 24hrs and then accepting an epidural the anesthesiologist put my epidural in wrong and I now have to seek medical treatment in hopes that I can heal from that it's been over a year and it still hurts. Had to have a different phlebotomist come in to attempt a second attempt at a epidural while an active labor. The beds are broken, lumpy and uncomfortable, and they couldn't figure out why I wanted to go home. I felt forced to stay here because of the threats and intimidation tactics that they pulled and stayed till literally the last minute I was required to stay. I then told them I would be following up with my pediatrician within 12 hours for my child and I left. DO NOT GO HERE ALONE. Make sure that you have a family member or spouse there with you at all times. I also recently had to take my father to this location because he had a stone from his kidneys that was 8 mm and was supposed to be removed but because it was Super Bowl Sunday, nobody gave a crap and my father sat in the hospital overnight in excruciating pain, and was supposed to be on the schedule for surgery at noon the following day. The neurologist decided that it's the last hour. He was going to cancel the surgery that my father needed and told him that he didn't felt it was necessary and he should try to let the Stone break up naturally. My father had requested that he'd be released and just like my experience with this hospital. They refused to let him go and were holding him hostage. People were coming into harass him told him he couldn't leave. He said he would sign paperwork, but he was leaving and it was a legit argument with staff and doctors. I don't know what is wrong with this hospital or this facility they don't care about you. It seems that they only care about how much money they can get out of your insurance by making you stay longer. If you need a hospital check out Kettering hospitals or somewhere else in your network. Do not go here. I believe they don't care based on the lack of care this place gives about its patience and the awful conditions that this place leaves their patients in good luck

I felt like an unruly school kid put in a corner. This was on a Saturday, which was the only day I had to take care of this. My company suggested going to Christ Hospital at Liberty Township so I did. The ER doctor said that x-rays are reserved for "trauma" work-ups. So no imaging and now I am out $1,100. I was seen by the ER Dr., given oral steroids and a Toradol shot for $1100. Premier, this was a delay in care.

The surgery went very well (huge relief), and every single staff member we encountered was supportive, kind, and genuinely friendly. Hospitals can be stressful places, but the people here do an amazing job of making you feel cared for and not just like "Patient #342B." The facility itself is spotless and surprisingly warm for a hospital setting. It doesn't feel cold or sterile, it almost feels like more than a hospital, like a place designed to comfort as much as it heals. There are plenty of waiting areas, good signage so you don't get lost in a maze of hallways, and even a cafeteria in the basement (Cafe on the Boulevard) for when you need a break and a burger. On a personal note, I was here 15 years ago to give birth to my daughter, and it's remarkable how much the center has improved since then. They've continued to grow, modernize, and somehow get even better at what they do. If you're looking for a hospital that combines top-notch medical care with a team of people who treat you with genuine kindness, Kettering Medical Center is it. No one wants to spend time at a hospital, but if you have to, this is a pretty great place to be.

"Dr" Marcus Sinewe is completely incompetent. After I explained in detail how and when my symptoms…read morepresented, he ran meaningless tests without ever taking the ten minutes necessary to duplicate the conditions and see what I was talking about. He then called me a liar because he was too dumb to do anything useful. I asked for a supervisor and he told he didnt have any and that he was God. I was also visited by "Dr" Wenn. This "person" lied to me at least three times, that's just the ones I caught him in. I was discharged against my will, both Mr. Wenn and Mr. Sinewe, who have no business anywhere near a medical license, played the same game with me. They kept asking me over and over to send me home I kept saying no. Mr. Sinewe like a complete child actually fast walked out of the room while muttering can I send you home ok ok running out of earshot so he could pretend I was okay with it. I received life saving care later from another physician, so they probably thought they did right sending me away because I made it, but they just got lucky that someone else saved me. Marcus is punch-drunk on his own power but he doesn't even have average intelligence. I don't know where they get these clowns, and Mr. Wenn with all of his lies I don't understand why the hospital trains them to lie so much. There is NO way the hospital doesn't sanction it, obviously he lies to everyone so they have to know about it. I have given my family instructions to NEVER take me this hospital again, no matter what my condition is. They are to drive me to Miami Valley, where I hope to find an honest doctor with at least average intelligence, since none can be found at Kettering Medical Center.
