Don't expect the deep Lebanese flavors or the wonderful rich smells of the food from the Edgware Rd cafes, this place is part of a Lebanese fast food chain.
Having said that, the food is acceptable, you can get a good, filling meal for under a tenner with plenty of vegetarian choices and I like the casual, colorful restaurant with its plastic chairs and cutlery in old harissa cans on the table.
I took the meze platter for 7.95 gbp and it was a good plateful of food for the money. Every item was well prepared but really just missed by a smidgen the deep authentic flavors of the food I grew up with and still enjoy in other London Lebanese restaurants.
I enjoyed the food well enough but couldn't believe they did not have Lebanese coffee on the menu. I'd trot on just a little bit further to Edgware Rd and indulge yourself in the real thing. read more
