My husband and I have been going to this practice close to 15 years, as our PCP. Things started to go downhill in 2021 and got progressively worse since. It became difficult to reach someone to make an app. No return calls from front desk. 24-48 hr response from doctors nurses. My PCP left the practice about 6 months ago. He was extraordinary. I had to see another physician there as a result, who did my yearly exam late October. As of 12/3 she has not replied to even one 1 of my four msgs; left 2 through their portal and 2 voice. Dr Fatemi listens carefully to my concerns and I get very good care. When I call the office, a person answers and handles my requests promptly. Questions/requests I ask on MyChart are always answered within a few days. Once, I lost my mammogram orders, asked for them to be sent to the facility. Someone called to let me know they had been sent so I would not worry. I've been a patient almost 20 years and very satisfied. read more

Results are not given in timely manner, if given at all. The only way to actually get to speak on the phone with a doctor regarding your results is to email the practice with the two month timeline on where they lacked communication. Unfortunately, if you do email the facts of your situation with all the proof that this practice is in the wrong, the office manager, Darcy, will call you. She speaks in an aggressive, unprofessional, and rude manner. It is unfortunate to see how they treat patients that have been coming to their office for many, many years. Beware of Dr. Nandi. She performed my annual physical last year. In addition to having the worst bedside manner possible, read unfriendly, she failed to order blood tests on some of my chronic conditions. But the worst thing she did was charge me extra for consultation that was over and above the cost of the physical. This was based on a casual comment I made. Dr. Bhushan is amazing, but the rest of the staff here seems overworked (or just bad?). I've been trying to schedule and finish out a 3-part vaccination series here for months - a very easy logistical task that does not require a doctor. However, no one will return my calls. Additionally, no one ever seems to be answering the phone - regardless of the time of day. The one time the office did return my call (once over a many month period of time), they called the wrong number. I only found out because another family member received the call. And then I called CIM back several times later that day and was put on hold each time until someone answered to hang up on me. read more

This is the worst medical facility that I have ever been too. They do not put their patients first in no way. I've had multiple situations from appts to medication to follow ups. Darcy at Johns Creek can be very rude when it comes to customer service and she has no compassion for the patient. I have been a patient for years in Alpharetta but just started visiting the Johns Creek facility and out of the many years I have been a patient I have never experienced any issues until going to Johns Creek location which I will not return. Dr Lopez was exceptionally thorough in explaining what needed to be done in terms of bringing down my blood sugar levels. He responded to my questions about meds and was very helpful in trying to make sure changes were made immediately to improve my glucose levels. He carefully reviewed my previous tests, and was very relatable when explaining what needed to be done, and even followed up with me on the app over the weekend as per getting samples of insulin while waiting for prior authorization approval from the insurance. read more

This place is a SCAM run by professionals. I had an annual health checkup with comprehensive internal medicine, Johns Creek couple of months back. Be very very careful with this place. We went for an annual checkup that is covered by our insurance. The doctor asked if everything is fine (the doctor seemed very less interested to do any test or ask questions). I mentioned everything is fine, but I have some hair fall and she said check with a dermatologist for that. That is all she said (did not recommend or refer any dermatologist) and they say that it's the consultation she gave us and they have charged me more for that. So if you go for an annual checkup thinking its covered by your insurance, please be very very careful with what you say to the doctor at this place. They will not give you any solution, but they will charge you for any questions you ask. Be sure to keep your mouth shut if you are going for a regular checkup. The Johns Creek office has the worst office staff. They never return calls or fax prescriptions. I have to call a minimum of 3 times to get them to follow through with getting prescriptions refilled. New patient with Dr. Obiora, MD; I have been very pleased. He has been thorough, LISTENS, and attentive to patient needs and care. His office Assistant, Tina G. is phenomenal. Tina goes above and beyond to provide stellar customer/patient service. It's a busy office, but Tina has always been very attentive and treats patients with care and respect. I've been in the healthcare profession (on the finance side) my entire caree and very discerning. Dr. O and Tina get an A+ or 5-star rating appropriately. read more

The doctors are great here. I have had my physical done with Dr.Anju Bhushan every year for the past 5 years and have had great experience. However their administrative and especially the billing department sucks big time. For the last 2 years they have sent the wrong code for my annual physical tests to LabCorp and I get a bill for my annual blood tests which are suppose to be covered by my insurance. When we try to call the office to clarify this they send you to an office manager Darcy . You can never reach her. She is either on a call or away from the desk or in a meeting or not in office. She will not return your voice mail or email. So you are left hanging not knowing what to do when you get your bills and collection notices from LabCorp. I have called 10 times in 2020 and my insurance has also called them several times. Just for this reason I may stop going to this facility next year. read more

My husband scheduled a physical with Dr Bhushan a month in advance. He'd seen her (and Dr Bozof) before and the experience was good. Upon arriving at the office he was told that Dr Bhushan was "busy" and the pa, Shima, would be seeing him. This wasn't a big deal, but should have been a red flag. He had his physical and was told he'd be called with the results. Instead, he received the results via email from Quest labs. Some of the results were abnormal, so he called the office to get an explanation. The ma told him that since his sodium level was low he needed to either a) go to the ER b) come to the office now for a redraw. This was a Friday afternoon, and we live an hour away. When he asked why he needed to go the ER, she just repeated that his sodium was low (without explanation of why this was ER-worthy). He asked if he could wait until Monday to come back to the office. She checked with someone, presumably Shima, and said yes. He returned Monday for his redraw. Got the email overnight from Quest with results and noticed there was no sodium level. The office called to tell him "the wrong test was ordered: no sodium level was done", and asked him to return for a THIRD TIME for another redraw. Did the redraw Tuesday, got the email from Quest that the sodium is still low, but hasn't received a call from the office with any explanation of what this means or what to do about it. He's called twice to speak to the practice manager only to be told she's not in yet, despite it being after lunch, and has never heard back. So we're stuck with a situation that is either important enough to go to the ER, or so unimportant that the office can't be bothered to contact him. I work a medical practice that recommended this practice and I will tell my providers to no longer recommend this practice to our patients. The lack of communication is poor patient care. read more

This practice came highly recommended by a work colleague because of one of the Doctors. That Dr. is no longer with the practice I just learned. How did I learn of this? Listening to the unprofessional staff sharing stories about patients and laughing at those who were leaving. Including talking about Dr. Lee and how she's now in Athens. Continuing on with more "caddy" sarcastic remarks about patients as they left the office. "Don't ever make eye contact with that one." "The mother brought her daughter and backed everyone else up was told to a waiting patient who's appointment was over thirty minutes late." "Ohhhh. That one is a RN. That explains it.... they are ALWAYS like that but it doesn't matter, she's got to pay anyway HAHAHA..." told to the other admin staff members as they all got a good laugh. This practice has always been extremely difficult to deal with on the front/admin side. Billing, insurance, office manager...all difficult and clearly not happy. The Dr and the entire nursing staff are superb. What a real shame to ruin a practice with such unprofessionalism. read more

I went to CIM as a new patient when my insurance changed. I went in for a physical and saw Dr. Obiora. He is a new doctor in the practice. He did not do most of the activities I've come to expect from an annual physical, i.e. visual inspection of the eyes, nose, ears and throat, and did not do a prostate exam (not complaining). There was no mention of a colonoscopy (of which I am due), and he did not proceed to ask any questions about the small list of concerns I had, nor did he explore them any further. I had to remind him about one of the things on my list because it was a concern. I also asked him for a Shingles vaccine, but it was never administered and they charged my insurance company $425 for it. I called their office several times to talk about this, but never received the promised call back. That seems to be a theme in these reviews. I had to call my insurer to have it removed from the bill. So I won't be going back. Have to find another provider. read more

While I love my doctor at this location the rest of the office is a bloody mess. I have never seen such chaos and disorganization and a poorly run medical office in my long life. From constant screw ups with medicine refills to blood draw mix ups it borders almost on malpractice or at least negligence. A mess. A complete disorganized mess. I went here on recommendation and this will be my first and last time going. It's now been over two weeks and I still have not received the lab results for my physical. No one answers the phone. I received a letter informing me that they have been unable to contact me by phone to give me my results. My address on the letter was misspelled. So my compliments to USPS for delivering it. Before my physical, I completed paperwork which included providing my address and phone number. Though I suspect I am rapidly becoming the perfect candidate for a stroke, I have not had a stroke yet and still have fairly decent control of my mental faculties. I (SURPRISE!!!!) DID provide the office with my correct phone number and address. The office is just ignoring it and lying. I know they are lying because when I originally contacted them to schedule an appointment, my call was returned. Again because no one answers the phone, I left a voicemail informing them of the forms they asked me to complete and giving my phone number again. My call has not been returned and I'm just not going to bother anymore and will look for a new doctor next year. I don't think I should have to beg for proper treatment. I will not be back. The office is not reliable and, as I do have serious health concerns, this is not a good fit for me. While Dr. Bhushan, Andrea (nurse whose name I am hopefully spelling right), and the phlebotomist( his name I have forgotten. sorry!!!) were very nice and professional, the front office staff is terrible and they do not care. However something tells me they will find my phone number when I refuse to submit payment for any future bills. read more

Literally do not waste your time at this office. A 5-10 minute appointment takes 3 hours just for the doctor to come see you. I basically have to dedicate an entire day just for a check up. I called several times to have my prescription refilled, as did my pharmacy, just to be ignored. My prescription was never refilled and I've had it up to my neck with having to call week after week just for nothing to happen. This is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional I will be changing my doctor ASAP. read more

UNBELIEVABLY incompetent medical practice. How Dr. Ansu Bhusan can allow all these terrible reviews to continue is insane. I wish I'd read them before I went in for a physical. Dr. Carpenetti was professional and personable, but it is clear she is completely detached from anything that goes on beyond her exam room. The dreaded office manager, Darcy, told me Dr. Carpenetti does NOT speak to patients on the telephone. That one comment alone was enough to make me seek another doctor. Where to begin? How about the broken promise to call me with blood results almost a week later - but never did? Upon my calling THEM, I am told all my blood tests were done except one - which just happened to be the one needed to renew my medication. After much unpleasant negotiation with the defensive, immature office manager - Darcy- I was promised a short term prescription and an in-home blood draw to actually do - this time - the blood work needed for my Hashimoto's disease, the all important TSH. The blood draw never happened because no one ever called me to schedule it. I called that incompetent Darcy 3 times - all with no return call. The young girl who answers the phone - Emily - as nice as she is, seems to be quite incapable as well. She never followed through when I would call to ask what was going on with my draw. So, after a week, I decided to go in and get my blood drawn in their lovely office. After waiting 30 minutes in the waiting room for a simple blood draw, I ask for Darcy in the hopes she will move this along. Seems she was out of the office and nobody knew what was going on. So I had to step it up and start speaking up. They draw my blood (non-fasting) and only AFTER did they tell me that oh hey! not only did we not test your TSH before, but we didn't do any of your other CBC required blood work! They'd only done 2 thyroid related tests despite Darcy telling me "they tested everything" except the TSH. So guess what I get to do a THIRD blood draw mow - while fasting - to FINALLY get my physical CBC needed testing done. Absolutely NO ONE in this office know what they are doing and more importantly, they do not care. The doctor's are highly paid employees who are allowing their incompetent staff to ruin their reputation and credibility. I highly suggest that unless you want to incur a mental illness, you find a different medical practice. read more

Dr. Shema was nice enough however she did not follow through with anything. She ordered tests, but did not return calls and let me know the results of these tests, which were abnormal by the way. I had to call three days later to ask for these results, for them to tell me that they would call me back. Then three days later still no call back. After seven business days, I finally received a call telling me my test were abnormal and to go see a specialist. The office staff is also very unprofessional. They are giggling and playing around goofing off while you are waiting there either sick or not feeling well and it is not appropriate I feel. I gave two stars because Dr. Shema was nice to me and listened to me and the wait time was not long at all. The medical care was substandard. I have also seen Laura Capernetti and I would describe her as also not following up with the patient. I don't understand why the doctors cannot finish with the patient once they start. read more

I went in for strep throat back in May, which I was positive that I had. The Dr. spent 5 minutes with me because it was strep. I either had it or I didn't. My husband went in a week later to get tested for strep and also talk about some neck pain he was having. I receive our bills and mine is $60 higher for the actual Dr. portion. When I called billing, I was told that the charge is based on what the Dr. puts on the chart and a higher charge means we discussed a higher level of things. IT WAS STREP THROAT. Are you kidding me? I have been going to her for several years now and she is always very personable and takes as much time as you need at your appt. I had to go for the dreaded physical yesterday and after leaving her office I once again felt like her calm compassionate nature is genuine and that I am not just one more person in a production line! Sometimes you do have to wait a little bit but you also know that you are given the same attention if your situation requires more time. I have seen Dr. Bhushan on two occasions, (following a bad experience with a prior physician), and I can say that she is absolutely wonderful. She has a wonderful personal and professional manner. I have never felt rushed or disregarded and I always leave feeling as if I have received a thorough exam. Yes, I have had to wait more than 10 min, but nothing unreasonable or egregious. I try to be patient and understanding in these situations because I would want the same consideration if I required more time with the doctor. Anyway, I would wait an hour for her as she is THAT good and I appreciate her time and expertise. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a kind and carrying physician. Also, her direct care staff is very nice and personable which is very comforting during such an anxious time. read more

Not a well run practice. Went in for a yearly physical. Dr. Nandi was much more concerned with why I had left my previous practice than why I was there. She was difficult to communicate with, didn't listen well and did not follow through on the referral she was going to give me. I was never contacted with my blood test results even after I tried sending her messages through the patient portal. No response. Two months after my appt I had to contact the office to get the results. The staff had to call me back because they weren't able to find them either. I then had to request the results in writing because apparently they thought telling me they were normal over the phone was adequate. What a mess. read more

Wonderful practice. Dr Bozof is absolutely the best. He gives a very thorough examination and several years ago picked up on a carotid artery that I had totally forgotten about. Just recently picked up on a heart murmur that my cardiac physician totally missed. He has a great memory about not only about my health but personal life as well. read more

My daughter went to well visit at Comprehensive Internal Med at Johns Creek with Dr.Laurae Carpenetti, MD. She process in 5 min and get the two claims to my insurance 1) Well visit 2) Office Visit. My daughter did not request anything and Doctor herself recommended x-ray/ultra sound and for this they process new office visit claim separate. When I call to the office, they said that Doctor can do the well visit and along with this if they identify anything for patient also they can treat without patient request and billing department will claim to insurance. I didn't like the service and the way clarify the claim issues discussions with them. (At least when the doctor treat additional office visit in well visit appointment, Doctor has to inform to the patient first otherwise patient will listen what doctor say even though patient didn't request any medical issues). read more
