There is an apparent disconnect between the doctors and patient expectations with the staff. I would suggest the doctors; but go to a different office. The office staff is not honest; nor do they care (except for the surgical coordinators - they are great). I have been having arch pain and figured i would get it looked it, so i called and made an appointment. I arrive and was greeted by a rude male receptionist/billing person who told me to have a seat and be quiet. I brought my wife and our 12 week old daughter here and there was nobody there waiting it was simply my family. The guy comes over and said one of us could go back into the waiting room, and then i asked if my wife/child who was in a car seat can come with me. He then rudely responds that as long as the baby is quiet they may come. Now, my baby is 12 weeks old at this point, and simply sleeping in a car seat. There is nobody in the office and you make a comment like that? The doctor herself was good/helpful and generally willing to assist with my problem. The person up front who has nothing to do with foot care/podiatry is the entire reason i didn't give this place 4 stars, and is the reason I'm not going to be returning back here.

He explained the medical issues clearly, took his time, and explained all my options and the pluses and minuses. I was so confident in his ability to manage my issues and that he would make sure that I got the best oversight and care. I also liked that he takes into consideration the aesthetics of an issue in terms of how to address what to do. Other doctors thought I shouldn't care about that. I think most people care about that! So I was ecstatic that that he also took that into consideration. I've had chemotherapy and he was knowledgeable about the issues that arise from these treatments. Another big relief! He also understands that choices to be made in terms of how to proceed involve not only the issue that you came in for, but how it relates to whole health, such as other medications you may be taking and other risks. Very, very, important. The extra perks? The office staff is uniformly amazing, kind, and welcoming. Makes for a great atmosphere to walk into. And....the "piece de resistance"....Dr. Acello is unbelievably funny! How can you top that? A fabulous doctor who makes you laugh! I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Acello. Did I say highly recommend? I'm sorry....I meant HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
