Consulting Charges - $1055.28 (This is for Dr. Anup Patel) Removal of support implant - $855.28 (Removal of Splinter) Office outpatient visit as a new patient - $200 Imagine that if you go to Walmart and try to buy something and they ask you if you are a new customer and charge you $200. I got a bill for $512.61 over and above the copay that I paid. I called the person there to explain why the charges are high and they don't call back and if they do they can't answer your questions. No wonder costs are high when care providers are also on the rip off game.

When I got home, I did an Amazon search for similar products (the only active ingredient is a 1% solution of tolnaftate) and discovered many products priced around $2 per ounce. The Formula 7 was $45 for HALF an ounce! Holy crap! I went to the office to return the Formula 7 but they washed their hands of it, telling me to contact the manufacturer. Yeah. Like that's going to work, considering the fact that I hadn't used it yet. Dead end. Irresponsible and unfair. Did I mention the fact that she splayed my toes and told me, without taking any measurements, that I needed wide shoes? Well, I may be wrong, but 70 years and 15 pairs of shoes in normal width with no blisters, callouses, corns or other issues would tend to contradict that assessment. His office is always very clean and professional. All the front desk receptionists are courteous and try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. My 95-year-old mother was under Dr. Olivieri's care for over 25 years, and she was always very comfortable and felt safe. The doctor was always gentle with her. Many other family members have also received excellent foot care from Dr. Olivieri. I have always highly recommend Dr. Olivieri to all my friends and family for many many years. His practice is open six days a week until 7:30 PM. It's unheard of to find a doctor who practices and serves patients six days a week! I've been going to him for 25 years and will continue to do so to keep my feet healthy. Highly recommended!
