It turns out that ALL of the x-ray charges billed to me were not handled properly on the provider's end. In short, the office failed to do their due diligence, yet I was still sent multiple bills for those services. Now, they are continuing to claim that I owe $323.62 for a walking boot. For context, the exact same type of boot can be purchased online for a fraction of that price--the most expensive version I found was $59.99: https://bracedirect.com/products/brace-direct-activair-deluxe-short-walking-boot-pneumatic-air-pump-ankle-immobilization-l4361 Charging over $300 for something that retails for under $60 is, frankly, indefensible. Between the billing errors, lack of transparency, and extreme markups on basic medical equipment, this experience has only gotten worse since my initial review. Patients deserve clear communication, accurate billing, and fair pricing--and none of that has been demonstrated here. I stand by my original recommendation: look elsewhere.

I went back and had them adjusted after wearing for a while it caused severe hip pain. I was sent home with same orthotics and cotton taped to the bottom to try for a few weeks. I was in such pain. It's present in every muscle movement you have. Without proprioception, you wouldn't be able to move without thinking about your next step. Bedside manners and customer service always a 10 out of 10. Fist bumping at multiple points during the conversation, which turned into a classroom at some points. Demonstration of how soft tissue and bone heal in the body. Demonstration and explanation of how cells repair, scar tissue develops, multiple injuries on top of scar tissue healing, and the likelihood for increase injury over the age of 50 if current injuries are not treated properly to ensure that the body experiences lower chances for injury over the age of 50. Always inclusion in the treatment plan which is a team agreement. Extremely patient and friendly always. Always open to listening to the patient's perspective, disagreeing or respectfully, providing guidance as the practitioner who's the expert in the room at this point, lots of laughter always, talks about general things going on in both of our lives which always makes the experience a one-on- one, and overall super personable. This is what a practitioner is always supposed to make their patients feel like regardless of the specialty we are seeking service for. I will always keep my practitioners who I have these relationships with regardless of how far I have to drive to see them. By the way my podiatrist is always available via phone, email, and for emergency visits. He definitely will have what I call and request completed within an hour so I can move on with the rest of my day.

Mike has had painful knee issues for years, and for many of those years, medications and injections were able to help. But by the summer of 2017, Mike was in pain all the time. We wound up cancelling vacations and other activities we enjoyed, because it hurt him just to walk up a couple of steps. Our lives got smaller and smaller, and Mike spent more and more time on the couch. Because we are only in our early 60s, we realized that this could be our lives for the next 30 years! Like most people, we have healthy concerns about surgery, but decided this was no way to live. We met with Dr. Rojer and together, made the decision for total knee replacement. We selected a date for surgery, and Dr. Rojer's experienced staff took it from there. The segue from Dr. Rojer's office to Trinitas Medical Center (and beyond that, to post op care and rehab) was seamless. Much to our amazement, Mike was up and walking around the patient floor with his physical therapists, three hours after surgery! When he was discharged from Trinitas, an at-home physical therapist and a home nurse arrived on our doorstep the next day. We didn't have to make any of the arrangements! Surgery and recovery went so well that we scheduled his second knee replacement, and that went just as smoothly. Mike finishes his last week of physical therapy tomorrow, and for the first time in years, he can walk pain-free. We have already made travel plans to take full advantage of that fact. Iceland, here we come!

I have had consistent, good experiences with Dr. Roche and his staff over the years. I was in his…read moreoffice today for a yucky in-grown toe nail extraction surgery and yet, here I am, writing a positive review some 4 hours later feeling perfectly fine! What first brought me to Dr. Roche was the fact that his office earned the best of the best in Central Jersey for podiatry...I needed a podiatrist, so surely, I wanted to see what it was that gave patients the inclination to vote for him. I was happy with the service I received on that first visit and have kept coming back through the years for my feet-related problems. Dr. Roche has performed 4 in-grown toe nail removals for me and this procedure, albeit an unpleasant experience, was made as comfortable as possible by him and his staff during every surgery I had performed. He has a nice partition so you cannot see what is happening as it is happening, and he is quite discrete in taking out/putting away/cleaning up the tools so it is as least traumatizing as possible. He makes conversation with you throughout the local anesthetic and procedure itself. We pick up right where we left off the last time I visited. The best part is that the anesthetic lasts for several hours after the procedure. I recall telling Dr. Roche after one surgery, "It didn't hurt at all afterward." He responded "It shouldn't." Dr. Roche makes it as painless as possible. He has three offices throughout Middlesex County in convenient locations. I only wish he had an associate on hand to help him since he has to manage all three locations. You know he has a thriving practice when he is able to keep three offices going. The prior associate was very nice as well, and answered an emergency voicemail I had left after one of my procedures. The staff works with you to get you in as soon as possible, and are all very nice. The staff can play a big part in defining a practice, and this staff is great! Dr. Roche also has what I would call a state of the art website, complete with appt. booking capability and online ordering. I feel that I am in comforting, caring, and trustworthy hands (no pun intended since it's a foot doctor LOL) when I visit Dr. Roche. It is clear why his practice earned the award for the best of..!
