From the start, Dr. Sarah was confident, calm, and reassuring. She took incredible time and care with my temporaries--they were secure, comfortable, and shaped beautifully, which immediately put me at ease. For the first time, I wasn't worried they would fall out. When it came time for the permanent veneers, we were unsure about the color at first, but Dr. Sarah said to try them in and reassured me we could redo them if needed. She was right--they were a perfect match. She even scheduled a follow-up to make sure I was completely happy. I have been debating writing this review for quite a while, since Brielle Dentistry Co seems to…read moreonly get rave reviews here and people appear to have had good experiences with them, but please consider my personal experience with them a cautionary tale. I went there for an emergency root canal, which went well, although I had to wait in the chair doing nothing for 45 minutes, before they finally started working on me, consequently making me late for work. Everyone was very nice and apologetic, but that was a bad first impression for me. They pushed the comprehensive dental exam for a later date, which I did get. They found many many issues with my teeth and gums, which really surprised me, as I practice excellent oral hygiene every day. Long story short - I moved to another state not long after this and found a dentist here, who did the exact same exam - all the bite-wing and panoramic x-rays, photos, physical exam, etc., and found only a tiny fraction of what Brielle "found." For example - Brielle told me I needed to get 2 back teeth extracted. I knew of one tooth, given what was going on, but the other tooth they wanted to extract turned out to be perfectly healthy and fine, with absolutely no need to extract, per my current dentist. Brielle also pointed out other work I needed to get done - another example: deep scaling - while the dentist I go to now found no issues whatsoever with my gums. And there were others. Needless to say, I would never to back to them.

They had texted me to confirm the date and time of 6/20 at 10:20AM twice to which I responded confirming. As far as I was concerned this was my appointment time. The day of my appointment I was getting ready to leave when they called to ask if I was still coming for my appointment at 10AM.. to which I told them I thought it was at 10:20AM. She had told me that no, my appointment was at 10AM and she would have to check with the hygienist if they could still see me. During this time I double checked the written communication which did, in fact, say 10:20AM. When she came back on she said they could still see me to which I told her, well yes, seeing as my appointment is at 10:20AM and was confirmed to be so twice by your text confirmation system. She continue to argue that my appointment was for 10AM. I show up at the office and they ask me to come back to fill out paperwork (that I had already done the night before when their system sent it to me) and I had told her that they must have messed up because my appointment was at 10:20AM and proceeded to try to show her the texts. She did not want to see the texts and argued with me that my appointment was for 10AM and they had tried to call me the day before to confirm and let me know that they had to bump me up in the schedule. They had only called me ONCE and never said anything about changing my appointment time in the voicemail. I never once received an apology and was only met with snarky attitude so I told them to cancel my appointment and left. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect to a FIRST TIME patient was very distasteful and I would never recommend them based on that alone. My advice to them is to get organized and improve upon their bedside manner with patients. Two stars only because I never saw a dentist and cannot speak to their expertise or skill.

When I decided to have a tooth extracted in the upper back area of my mouth; they presented me with a multi step treatment plan (many thousands of dollars) at which point I communicated that I had no intent to get implants etc because the gap would not be visible. Come surgery day, my surgeon went ahead and did a bone graft anyway. At the end of my follow up appointment a couple weeks later, the office manager pulled me aside and demanded over $800 additional for the bone graft. I communicated that I did not agree to that, had communicated my intentions earlier, and had only scheduled the appointment for the extraction. She quickly offered me a discount on the next step of the process (which hints to me that she knew they over reached) and I instead stated I should be discounted for the bone graft that I didn't ask for. She didn't budge, so I just paid up and found a new dentist immediately. Going to the dentist is stressful enough, the office shouldn't cause their patients undue financial strain on top of it. I was up front that I wanted extraction only and they performed extra work anyway. You can shake me down for the $800 since it's advisable to get a bone graft anyway, but it should be at a time of my choosing, not yours. If SDA reads this - a little communication and not making assumptions goes a long way!

I have always had…read morean extreme fear and anxiety associated with dentists my entire life to the point where it would cause anxiety attacks even the days prior to my appointment. To say that Dr. Fishbein has put me at ease when it comes to dental things would be the understatement of the century! He has made me feel completely comfortable and at ease when going and has made me able to smile again. I have had so much dental work and trauma over the years that for a dentist to make me feel so comfortable is a feat in itself. He took the time to be personal and make sure I was comfortable in his office. I would highly recommend Dr. Fishbein as an excellent Dr. as well as a wonderful human being with a wonderful heart who always takes the patients' needs and concerns with the upmost care and understanding. Never in my life would I have thought I would walk into a dental office without paralyzing fear and he has managed to accomplish this for me. After a handful of visits I remember actually saying I'm going to miss coming in on Fridays and I truly will. The doctor as well as his staff are very caring, kind and patient. I could not have picked a better dentist or office as they are by far the best I could have imagined. Along with all this Dr. Fishbein was able to make me smile again comfortably which is something I haven't done in a long time due to my being super self-conscious about my smile and missing teeth. If you need a dentist this is the guy for you with out a doubt you will not be disappointed.
