The medical assistant took all necessary information and gave me paperwork to complete. The reception area is nice they also have televisions. Once in back she took my vitals put me in the exam room. I didn't love that wait because the office seemed really quiet like there was maybe only 1 other person. I don't know for sure. When the doctor came in she was amazing. She asked me great questions and did a short exam of my issue and I was on my way. Overall it was a great visit. I would definitely recommend if you are in this area.

I ignored the red flags, and that's 100% on me. I saw reviews mentioning similar issues years ago…read moreand figured maybe things had changed. Unfortunately, they have not. The vibe that I'm inconveniencing or bothering her is true and I did not feel welcomed as a patient. The upfront deposit requirement was interesting. While $35 isn't a huge amount compared to the service I was looking for, it felt strange having to pay before even seeing the office or meeting the provider first. It gave the impression that they're making sure they get money from you one way or another regardless of the experience. My appointment was at 3:00 PM, and I arrived at 2:55 PM to a locked door despite the posted business hours clearly indicating the office should have been open. I called, and when I finally received a callback, I somehow felt like I was being treated as the problem. I was told they open at 3:00 PM and that the door "should be open now." Apparently the door had been quietly unlocked at some point, and I was just expected to somehow know that instead of someone opening the door and looking outside like most professional offices would. The medical app was another issue. It simply did not work for me. The provider told me, "I use it every day. We will figure it out," but then immediately closed the office door and left me sitting alone in the waiting room trying to troubleshoot it myself. There was no "we" involved. The app didn't list her name or clinic in the system, so there was nothing I could magically fix on my end. Overall, the experience was filled with small unprofessional and dismissive behaviors before treatment even begins, it does not inspire confidence when the service involves cosmetic procedures and needles going into someone's face. Something just felt off to me throughout the entire interaction, and I ultimately decided to walk out rather than proceed with treatment. The lack of professionalism and patient care was disappointing.

AND THEN 2 of the girls just come at me putting their fingers all through my hair messing it up with no warning, with no heads up of what they're about to do and why they're doing it it would've been nice if they asked first before coming at me or saying "hey are you comfortable with us letting someone else be here for training" it just made the environment uncomfortable and treating me like a test subject.Ultimately some people need a bit of a push to get treatment for certain issues and aren't always open to speaking about their insecurities finally when they can build of the courage to do so, and you are bombarded and pushed into an unwelcoming and uncomfortable environment that completely contradicts and mocks doctor patient confidentiality. And then when I am leaving the office I ask a question to the dermatologist and I get an unprofessional response loudly airing out Hair loss which no one would feel comfortable others knowing what you came to the doctors for.

I had a great experience here with PA Daysi Abreu…read more I was skeptical because I've been to dermatologist before good and not my favorite. I really wanted a dermatologist who could somehow to relate to be whether it being darker complexion or the same diagnosis I have. She was very experienced and knowledgable in my skin condition. Daysi was very empathic and ready to remedy the issue and the reason why I had finally came in. I highly recommend her. I am currently cancelling my other appointments at other dermatologist I made as backups. I was a little unhappy with the wait, they tell you get there ten minutes early. I got there ten minutes early probably should've gotten there about twenty minutes early as there were plenty new patients who had to use the electronic new patient form (very much so ipad-like, if not an ipad). I dislike that they operate with a call center. First time I called they told me they didn't take Florida Blue, called again thinking I was going to speak and call another derm location... it was then when I realized it was a call center. The second call, I told them I had Florida Blue and they said they take my insurance they just call it "blue cross, blue shield". Luckily, I accidentally called twice because I would've missed out on a great experience with Daysi. The call center also had all my information wrong, from name to address. The check in process with the link sent the night before is helpful. It reminds you your appointment time and copay. Four stars, instead of five because of small wait time and inconvenient call center experience.
