We just had the most amazing and unusual experience with Walmart Pharmacy employees that I needed…read moreto share and commend them! I set up two appointments- one for my 78 yo mother and the other for myself, a 65 yo female , to receive our annual Covid and Flu shots. Upon check in, Ariel first attended to us. Apparently there was mix up online, where the computer had scheduled my mother for a Thursday Covid shot, and a Friday Flu shot (same time slot). This was obviously an error, so Ariel took the time to correct the mistake in the computer, which took at least 10-12 minutes. We really appreciated that, as my mom uses a Walker, and did not want to have to make that exertion a second day. When it came to me, they had the Flu shot approved, but my insurance (a Medicare Part D vendor) refused the Covid treatment. Since I am 65, and in the class entitled to that immunization, I was dismayed. Ariel then introduced us to the Pharmacist, Laura. She also did not understand it, and took to the computer to look in to it further. When that wasn't helpful Laura actually took the time to call my insurer. After quite a bit of back and forth, almost 30 minutes later, she was able to get my Covid immunization approved! Please note that during all this, the Pharmacist, Laura, still managed to attend to each patient/visitor who had questions and concerns... quite amazing to witness! Never in my many years, have I experienced such a high level of customer service at even a doctors office, let alone a retail pharmacy! Walmart should know what amazing emissaries these two people are for your company, and what an indelible impression they made on us. We cannot recommend Walmart pharmacy enough. Thank You!

I have never given a review on anything because I can keep my cool most of the time but this…read morewalmart is outrageous. I went with my girlfriend to get a new xbox controller when we ended up in line behind a woman whose card was declining. Although I only needed one item I didn't mind waiting behind this woman because she was being very respectful and nice. The cashier at the time named Paul was not talking much, if he did it was the rudest manner I have ever heard from a cashier. When the woman in front of me asked him to suspend her grocery bill to give her time to figure out why her card wasn't working Paul rolled his eyes and rudely asked another employee for something. Even when I got my item and I had the money right in front of him he was still being a dick head. P.s. don't be rude to people if you can barely fit through a door and walk straight!

It was medication for my daughter. When we got there they told us the medication was out of stock. My husband told the lady we called before we drove here and spoke to someone. She said no you didn't talk to anyone here. She was very rude and hateful. She had Short blonde hair. My husband called before we made the drive. We wasted 3 hours driving here on Christmas Eve. DO NOT come to this location.

TERRIBLE Customer service in the pharmacy at this particular Walgreens has really gone down hill…read more The pharmacy technician was less than helpful and made it obvious that she was not in the mood to help customers or focus on them when serving them. While they dress up in scrubs they are not licensed or trained pharmacists, nor entitled to behave as if they are better than the people on the customer side of the counter. While this particular visit was marked only by poor service and a terrible attitude, my last visit included a medication compatibility question left unanswered as the technician (Again NOT a pharmacist or MD, just playing dress up in scrubs) couldn't be bothered to get or ask the pharmacist and just shrugged her shoulders. That from one wearing "Trainer" not trainee - on her name badge. Continuation from my earlier visit today left on the previous survey... Went back in to get my 5 new to me prescriptions. Pharmacy technician was more helpful vs the terrrrrible experience earlier today. So I was handed 5 new to me medications - meaning I have never taken these before - without even an offer or suggestion for a consult with the pharmacist (The real person with a license and not a tech dressed in scrubs). I asked for one anyway and even the pharmacist acted annoyed to have to come speak to me. Now... Last time I checked we have 5 rights in medication - Right patient, right medication, right dose, right route, right time... Part of this is to protect the patient from possible medication reactions and interaction between medications.... So when did protecting the safety of patients become a secondary concern for Walgreens? In this case assuming the average patient will be able to read and fully understand the medication pamphlet and assess that to any other OTC medications or scripted meds they might be taking seems to be asking a lot.
