I made the complaint to geek squad (who out sourced the work to him) and there he lied saying he didn't return it like that.. it was clean when he brought it back. (I took pictures with time stamps proving it was returned like that) the original fix didn't hold up after about 9 days.. it then took him two weeks after chasing this guy to come back and complete the original fix(again).. also to look at the screen to rectify it after complaining about it for weeks.. he showed up to my house and I showed him the screen.. from there he had a bickering fight with me about how he didn't return it like that and went "no I didn't.. no I didn't.. no I didn't".. like a 5 year old.. loud enough my family in the next room could hear him.. then refused to take the tv to repair the fix that he originally did and stormed out.. just so we're clear it's been just shy of 4 months since the tv left originally and it still doesn't work. I advise if you're looking for a tv repair place and living London or surrounding.. stay away.. and if you have a geek squad warranty and they refer or send this joker too you.. refuse and get someone else .. it's not worth the hassle.. I'm still fighting with them over the $1700 tv I paid $300 for a warranty and still sits not only inoperable but my screen is permanently unfixable without hurting the actual tv. As far as my phone is concerned, we've taken it back 3 times, and the phone still isn't fixed. First it was the screen, then it was the charging port, then it was the mic. I'm over $300 into a phone that's barely worth that, and it's still not fixed. The phone's screen still isn't working right; it still glitches out, can't click on things at times, and it blacks out periodically. When it's on speaker, the other end gets a ton of feedback, which wasn't happening before. And nothing was wrong with the charging port before, but for some reason they said it needs to be changed. I've called back and explained all this, and they just say that there isn't anything they can do. I'm willing to put up with not diagnosing the problem properly the first time; it's not a great sign considering it's like 50% of the profession, but I get that not all problems are created equal and it can take some work to properly drill down to the problem, but 3 "fixes" and it's still not fixed is getting to be a little much. I'm not willing to deal with rude service, specifically from the owner. I've gone to them for years as problems have occurred with my handheld devices, as they're just around the corner; however, there are so many places to get a phone/tablet fixed in this city, I think moving forward I'll find a different place. Other places are just as quick and cheaper without the attitude-filled owner, especially if they're using less-than-quality parts, which may be the issue here.
