They talked me through the process and what to expect--quick poke, a little more energy and wellbeing. And they were totally true to their word. The stick was painless and today, the day after the party where I drank a little more than I probably should have, I'm feeling great. Amelie's hospitality was fabulous--coffee, tea, fizzy water, and a gift bag, plus super-friendly conversation, lots of personal attention, and a totally professional service. These folks clearly know what they're doing and they were so warm and sweet despite the fact I was just taking them up on a freebie offer. And they wouldn't even accept a tip, because they're a med spa! I'll definitely go back for facials and other services the next time I stay at the hotel. I actually brought a friend in for a consultation (referring new business to them), and while we were there, I asked to add a few units of Botox to my own visit. Despite already being in the office, I was told I'd have to make a separate appointment. Between the hidden expiration dates and the unwillingness to accommodate a loyal client who is actively referring others, it's clear this office values rigid internal rules over patient relationships. The facial was so relaxing and calming....not only for what she did to my skin, but the neck massage, the aromatherapy and her super soothing voice and words. She knows just how to fully get you relaxed and calm and forget the stresses of the day - which is one of the things I enjoy about getting spa treatments. The Dermatologica products were amazing. This is a high end line that you don't often see at spas, at least I had not come across it in a long time. The products smelled amazing which is important to me....and really amplifies the facial. My face felt so soft and hydrated when I left and I admit it, I kept touching it throughout the rest of the evening because it felt so good. Margot is extremely knowledgeable about skin types, the products she uses and ongoing skincare programs.
