I got the $29 deal on Groupon. Like many people have mentioned, getting an appointment is just brutal. However, but a stroke of luck, someone had cancelled that same Saturday, so I snatched the 11am appointment. Miguel did a great job and focused on my shoulders, which I requested. He used some kind of tool -- like a mallet? -- lightly on my back at some point, which was different to me. It felt good, though. Some not as great things, though: the massage was definitely just 50 minutes. (Yes, I looked at the clock.) Also, the table was a bit creeky, so that was annoying at times during the massage. Lastly, what Miguel did with my back was not always even; he'd spend more time on one side of my body than the other in more than one case. Lastly, when I was done, the receptionist told me the chiropractor was gone, so I wouldn't be able to get those services. I mean, I didn't *need* that, but if it was part of the deal, I would expect for the chiropractor to still be in the office. I'm an athlete and was not training for a while. I went back to training and of course I injured my muscles and muscles takes time to heal.I just did one Cryotherapy session and the next day I had no pain. I'll definitely continue the sessions it really did help on my muscles recovery. It was my first time, I was a little scared since I hate cold lol But Geney was assisting me and she is great, she was talking and explaining the benefits of the treatment and got my attention the whole time and literally 3 min went so fast I couldn't believe. Recently went to NYC and I extended my trip to check out some workout classes and events. I was working out 2-3x a day for a few days and by the end of my trip, I was exhausted and extremely sore. I like to cryotherapy in LA when I'm sore and need a fast recovery. I found Complete Wellness on Yelp and saw that they were having a promo for 3 sessions at $99. ONE session of cryotherapy is over $75 so I jumped on the deal. 3 extremely cold minutes later, and I immediately started feeling better. When I woke up the next day, my soreness was completely gone. I have been visiting this location since April and I must say that I really love it here. The ladies at the front desk make you feel welcomed, part of their family and are very accommodating. The Dr. are very attentive to your aches and pains and assist in helping to relieve those pains. The worst chiropractic place ever~!!! I do not recommend this place~!!! If you brought any discount or trial coupon from GroupOn or any other place, I strongly suggest you get a refund immediately~ It was such a rip off. It was my friend's gift to me and I don't want my friend to feel bad. But guess what? As the chiropractor led me to my room, I saw others. There weren't just one chiropractor there. I saw at least 3 chiropractors walking in and out of their rooms. So the receptionist lies to us. Refusing to admit she screw up our time. (of course more lies, blame it on receptionist working on the weekdays..if there is actually any, only she know the truth) My chiropractor was good, very professional massage indeed, this am not gonna lie. So I enjoyed the 20min (or so that's what I was told, I didn't time it) You thought the story end here right? NOooooo, there is more and it gets interesting~ As I was done with my 20min, I sit in the lobby with my friend to wait for my friend's session to start. A Cute Couple walked in and was having the same argument I had with the receptionist. Their appt had been broken into 2 different time when they specifically ask to start together at the same time. I didn't get the others but I went for the massage anyways.The massage itself was perfect - my massage therapist was Kristy. I dozed off a couple of times too. I had a semi-bad experience with booking the appointment process due to many misunderstandings, but all was well in the end (which is why this is a four-star and not a five star). I had an appointment the first time around Christmas season. When I got there, the office was closed! I understand that it was Christmas season, but the office should have called me to change my appointment time. The second time I had an appointment, the office called to change the appointment time. I came to know about Complete Wellness after a friend got a deal to see them for a Chiropractic consultation/massage session, and she's continued to see them for pretty much all of there services. She mentioned several times how great the doctors were at this place for helping her work through a hip injury so she could continue running and complete her first big race, a half marathon. She also went onto telling me how the practice is a one-stop shop offering Chiropractor services, physical therapy/personal trainers, sports massages, and after checking their website I saw yoga and nutrition there too. For me personally, after dealing with months of knee pain, I figured why not give this practice a shot, the consultation is free and they came highly recommended. Calling to get an appointment was easy enough. Although I had asked to see Dr. Fenster on recommendation from my friend (he's the main guy who started the practice), there was a mix-up and he was out of the office the day I arrived (-1 star for no phone call to tell me he wasn't in when I had a scheduled appointment). However, they did give me an option to see Dr. McGill, the other Chiropractor at this office. My consultation with Dr. McGill was thorough and she was very attentive to my issues and where I was experiencing pain. She even stretched me out that day which I felt a lot better afterwards. After the consultation and getting the results of my x-rays, I was told in a follow-up that I needed to come in for adjustments (who doesn't). This time I saw Dr. Fenster who did the adjustment for me. He was super friendly and went over everything Dr. McGill went over and then some. While I'm still at the beginning of the treatment sessions, I do believe the adjustments in combination with their recommendation of working with the sports medicine trainers at their practice will really get me beyond my pain. I recommend seeing either Dr. Fenster or Dr. McGill for any work you need. Though I haven't had a chance to experience it yet, the trainers look like they're no joke and I heard great things about their sports massages, so I can't wait to explore their services even more. I have to say that this is the first time I've been in a room completely naked with someone I met 2 minutes ago, rubbed down with massage oil, and didn't want to leave. For $29 dollars (thanks to a Groupon deal), I really didn't expect much from my 1-hour massage, considering the mediocre reviews on here. My advice? Don't expect a complete spa treatment. If you're looking for a chiropractic evaluation to be accompanied by your massage, you may get disappointed. When I came yesterday, the chiropractor was out - I didn't really care. I came here because I got a Living Social deal for a consultation and an hour massage. At first I was I got just because of the massage, but after a brainstorming session with myself, I came up with a series of questions I wanted to discuss with the doctor. My main concern was my posture. The doctor gave me some Yahoo Answers.com type recommendation and advised me to go to their website to look for recommended exercise. the consultation took about 5 minutes, when it originally was supposed to be about half an hour. disappointing much? the massage was the opposite of what i expected. I was looking forward to back cracking and pressure application on my back! what i got was a lot of rubbing, which i personally find quite annoying and not worth my time. the masseuse was nice though. overall I left with only one takeaway- I do need to work on my posture. but I already knew that!!! read more

I came here about 2 years ago and had one of the most amazing massages of my life, the masseuse really knew the body well and was just really awesome. A few months ago I bought a groupon for this place, I called to find out who I had last time because I couldn't remember her name, and they had no record of it, which was a bummer. (Lesson learnt: if you have an awesome masseuse write down their name somewhere after!) The massage I had today was pretty relaxing I guess, but didn't do much for me. There was no pressure at all, which I know I should have spoken up and told her I wanted, so I do blame myself partially for that. Anyways, the more annoying thing was that I looked at the time before and after I left..I got in the room at 7 or a couple of minutes after and when the massage ended it was 7:50. Now reading reviews I see that this is a common complaint that people have. I mentioned it to the girl at the desk, I said "was the groupon for 60 minutes?" she said yes, so I told her it was only 50 minutes, she said "well with changing and everything" I said "no, it was 50 minutes total including changing" which really means the massage was only 45 minutes. I would have wanted to give a smaller tip than I did but they had no change. I guess that's another lesson I learned! Have smaller bills! I guess if you have a groupon you can try this place out and maybe you'll be lucky and have an awesome massage(like my first experience)..but definitely wouldn't pay full price! All chiropractors are not created equal! I went to Dr. Fenster a few years ago with a back injury and he totally fixed it. Before then I was popping pain pills every day and living in constant fear of leaning over or lifting heavy things lest I end up in agony, missing work, etc. Dr. F took x-rays (I can't believe all chiros don't do this) and told me that I would be okay. It took a few months to retrain all of my muscles and bones to where they should be, but after that I would only have to come in for tune ups. And no more pills! At one point I moved to another part of the City and tried a couple of different chiropractors but they didn't have the skill to adjust my back. So now I go out of my way to see Dr. Fenster when I need a tune up and I know that I'll be ok. I'm sad to read all the bad reviews from the coupon folks. It sounds to me like the office wasn't prepared for the flood of people it got. Once you're in the system, and you know your insurance situation, I'm guessing it gets easier. I'm already in the system, so for my adjustments, I just walk-in and wait for him to see me. He's the real deal. read more

I started out a skeptic, but am I true believer that chiropractic care, along with the other services they offer, have basically cured me of migraines, which is the affliction I went in for. In addition to being headache free, my energy level is way better now! All of the doctors are friendly, honest, and caring. The staff at the front desk are always helpful and willing to work with you regarding scheduling appointments. Unlike a lot of other places, I have never waited to see the doctor I was scheduled to meet with, if you are scheduled for 3:00PM, you are seen at 3:00PM. I visit my sister and friends in New York a couple times a year. In LA, we can wear our nice shoes, hop in a car, enjoy our space and just go on about our day... but as much as I love NY, it's not the same! I purchased a coupon with Groupon for my daughter at November, and when I called to schedule an appointment they only could give us one at February. when it got closer to my appointment time I realized that we lost the exact time and called the office to confirm. They told me that we have no appointment scheduled on the system at all, and asked if I want to schedule one. I explained that we waited 3 months for that appointment, but they just said - sorry - you are not on the system. My daughter was at school at the time and I was not able to schedule another appointment without consulting with her. when I came to schedule it now, I was told by the office manager that we missed an appointment on February and we can't get another one. I explained my story, told them I called and was told by their staff that we are "not on the system", but she replied that this is not true according to "her system". (Quite a system they got there) Beside she is so rude and obnoxious, it does not sound like a place where you want to relax.... so now I can't even use the coupon I purchased. Bottom line, according to my experience and the others reviewers, even if you manage to get over the obstacle of the rude office staff, and your apppoitment would not be canceled, , it would take you months to get it. I went to Complete Wellness due to leg Pain.Called in advance and they confirmed that they take my insurance and offered me a complimentary first visit. After being seen by the doctor, the office manager, Paige, came in to inform me that they didn't take my insurance and I was responsible for the office visit out of pocket. I told her that their office had said otherwise, she said she would finagle the charge by putting it under another doctor's name ( this is completely illegal) and that I had to pay the co-pay of $50. She assured me that i did not have to pay for my follow up visit. On my follow up visit the doctor came up with a form of treatment for 6 months and said that he could make the situation better but not perfectly. I was passed on to Paige again who offered me a discounted price of $3,000/ month if i paid cash for the total of $18,000 to fix my leg pain. Again she made me pay the co-pay despite her promise from the earlier appointment and said that she was doing me a favor offering me a discounted rate. I was appalled by their actions and untruthfulness, never mind their conduct in illegal ways to charge the insurance company. I am sure my insurance company or the NY Stae health would not be happy to hear of this. After suffering with my leg pain for a week longer I took a friend's recommendation to do certain exercises at home which has completely healed my leg now and thankfully I can walk w/o pain, never mind saving myself $18,000 in cash. This practice was a sham in my case, luring me in there and trying to swindle money from me. I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

This is not my first time seeing a chiropractor so I can tell when when I am being taken advantage of. Never have I heard of committing myself upfront financially for a treatment or doctor that I don't even know. Three times a week for three months (ironically my insurance max ) and the the quote of 200$ the doctor "guessed"I would have to pay. Even though I have heard that there is no monthly fee???? But to perfectly honest , as a chiropractor, he was hands down the worst. I know how I should feel after an adjustment and this made me seem like I went to someone playing doctor. We weren't able to get in before the expiration so they said they would honor it even though we were late. When we then called to schedule the appointments the next month, they said they would not honor it. I normally don't write reviews but just had to share this! Went in for some cryotherapy (after working out hard for a few days) and loved my treatment here. I was immediately greeted, they took me through to the cryo area and really explained the whole process. Was kind of scared and nervous because it's obviously so cold but they were really friendly and took their time with me and wanted to make sure I felt comfortable. It also helped that they stayed with me during my treatment to keep my mind off the chill! After the session my body felt GOOD. So relieved and refreshed! I went here with a Living Social voucher. The staff was pretty friendly and professional and the waiting area looked nice. My voucher came w/ 3 sessions - a nutritional consult, a massage, and an exam. The massage was awesome and definitely worth the money. However, I think due to the popularity of the Living Social deal, the room stunk. It smelled of b.o. but thankfully my massage therapist had me smell some oil which masked the b.o. for the entire session. The "exam" lasted no more than 5 mins. I told the doctor what was ailing me and she gave me a piece of paper w/ exercises to try. The nutritional consult was a complete joke. Not once did the doctor(?) I spoke with ask about my health, diet, or fitness. We basically spoke for about 5 minutes about the type of insurance I have and whether it'd be a good idea to switch to an insurance policy that the practice accepts. When I was leaving the office I asked the receptionist if I'd be seeing the nutritionalist because I didn't actually believe that my session about insurance was my nutritional consult. But at the end, the massage itself was worth whatever money I paid, so that's why I'm rating the place 3 stars and not lower or higher. read more

Dr. Todd has been extremely helpful in my rehabilitation. I've been visiting him for the past few months and the attention and treatments he has given me is exceptional. I was in a motorcycle accident a few years back and I have lingering pains through out my back and legs. The techniques and procedures he administers are modern and achieve immediate results. I used my groupon for 1 hr massage at Complete Wellness this weekend. That has became the worse experience I ever had. The receptionist is not friendly when checking me in. My masseuse was inexperience and often made me feel uncomfortable. He even ended the session 15 mins early. I will not recommend the place to anyone. read more
