We only used the DJ services because I had already decided on vendors before realizing that they offer vendors for basically everything, but the DJ services were amazing. From the start the company was easy to talk to. We were fortunate enough to work with Zach Lorton, whom my family has known for awhile, and I still remembered from my brothers wedding years ago. Zach. Was. And STILL IS. Incredible. We were worried that we presented a bit of a challenge for him because not only did we have varied music tastes, but our guest did too, but Zach did an awesome job, and kept people on the dance floor. "Working with Complete has been an absolute dream from beginning to end. For starters, we were able to book a DJ for a great price because of their connection with Andre's and because we had an off season wedding. Their planning sheet was extremely user friendly, and I loved that we had access to it for nearly a year leading up to the wedding. We refilled parts out 4 or 5 times because we kept changing our minds. It was excellent to have continuous access to the document without it being submitted till a couple weeks out. Now onto the most important reason Complete was a 10/10: our DJ, Jay Burbidge. It felt like Jay was our custom made DJ. He was incredibly flexible, fun, and kind to us and our guests. When he first reached out to us things were very chaotic as my grandpa passed away two weeks before my wedding. Jay gladly agreed to a phone meeting instead of in person, and easily rescheduled when I forgot I made plans to call him and then funeral arrangements got changed and we could not. One of the most special things Jay did for our wedding was playing Sweet Caroline as a dance for my family to honor my grandpa and fading into a video clip of him singing it at the end. It was a beautiful moment I'll never forget. Jay was also so excellent about working the room and keeping our party going. He took requests from everyone but if I specifically asked for a song on a whim it was played immediately. Not to mention when he wasn't rocking as DJ he was an incredible helper, even getting my groom and I water when we first sat down to dinner. He helped reassure me things were still going well when I got worried and truly created the wedding and reception of my dreams. Horrible experience on the photography side. Do not book for photos! The photographer was extremely rude, would not take photos of what we wanted and the photos were almost laughable on how poor of quality they were. We had a lot of our guests, say they loved the wedding but asked if we knew the photographer because she was so mean and rude to everyone she talked too. I would have a good friend take pictures on their iPhone before I would recommend booking their photography. Reached out after to explain what happened and they did nothing to fix it. They said "your photos look fine". Save your money! However, the DJ service was outstanding! They did a wonderful job. The dance floor was full the entire night. This was the most unprofessional company I've ever worked with. The DJ played the wrong songs for the ceremony, including our secret first dance song. While I was supposed to walk down the aisle to a traditional song, it ended up being "This will be an everlasting love". Of note, I had only 3 ceremony songs that he needed to play. After the ceremony, the DJ didn't speak one word to us or apologize. A photographer from a different company (who was wonderful) had to run the reception because our DJ was incapable...even though we had a phone call the week beforehand. I do not recommend this company as our ceremony was comprised when we had VERY few requests to begin with. read more

They didn't edit any of my pictures. I had people in the back of almost all my pictures. They didn't take pictures of any of our guests. It was given on a USB. Don't spend money on these people. Do not recommend their photobooth service. We paid for 4 hours and really only got 2 hours of it. the DJ's and Photobooth attendant never told the guests about the photobooth, the photobooth attendant stood there and didn't even interact with the guests. It was almost 2 hours before we realized no one had used the photobooth and we started telling our guests about it. After noticing they didn't announce it 2 hours in, we had asked the DJs and attendant to keep telling people about the photobooth and encouraging them to use it and they never told anyone about it, so we kept spending our wedding time to tell our guests about the photobooth. Tried resolving it with the company and their response was "our Dj's said they announced it" As far as the Dj service they were really friendly and professional they seemed to have a lot of fun, our only issue with the DJ service is they never told guests about the Photobooth and they played a lot of music not on our list and missed quite a few of our requested songs. read more

I hired Complete for wedding photography services but all I got was a COMPLETE headache. It started with an email link to a webpage that I was supposed to fill out. This included who was in the wedding, the location, places I wanted to have photos done, poses I would like to try, Etc. Basically a photography wishlist. The only thing I said I did NOT want was photos at a very specific park and even listed why. We could go anywhere else within a 30 minute drive, except this one park. Fast forward a week before the wedding. I haven't heard from anyone from Complete. I call and was told "oh, you didn't select a photographer, so we will have to hire outside the company." WHAT!? I told them "I didn't see, nor was I told, that I ever had to select my own photographer. I hired your company, and was told you would take care of the rest. A couple days later, I get an email from Don with Applecreek Photography who says he is temporarily taking over my event. By this point I'm livid. I paid $1500 for a service through Complete but instead they were basically a middleman. Mind you, I paid for these services in full over a year in advance. I expressed my concerns and he told me he would take care of everything. He said he had my online form and would take it into consideration. I didn't hear from him again until he showed up at the church. He walked right into the women's restroom where my bridesmaids and I were half naked, asking to take photos. I basically shoved him out. Once dressed, I went out only to have no idea where he disappeared to. I didn't see him again until I was walking down the aisle. He didn't get any first look photos or anything. After the ceremony, I asked which park were going to be taking photos at, and he said the very same park that I very blatantly expressed I did NOT want to go to. When I suggested other places, he shot them down giving all kinds of reasons as to why they wouldn't work, so guess where we went. None of this was what I wanted or asked for on my wishlist. He seemed to rush us through all the photos and was grumpy the whole time. Like everything sucked and this was the last place he wanted to be. Fast forward to the reception, the photographer now tells me that the amount of people who attended is "too small for a group photo" so he isn't going to do it. I told him, "I paid for your service and would really like to have this photo" and He gave the excuse that his knees hurt and he couldn't climb he stairs. I rolled my eyes and just walked away because he hadnt done a single thing I asked all day. We get to dancing, and he misses the whole dance between my brother and I because he's getting food. He didn't get a single photo of my mother and I (who is now deceased) and ended up leaving 2 hours before he was supposed to. I went into the bathroom at my reception and cried because I knew the one chance I had to capture my wedding day had been COMPLETEly ruined. It took almost 6 months to get back photos that looked unedited. These were on a website he emailed me to look at. Like he didn't even try. I emailed him back asking what took so long and he said he had misplaced the memory card that my photos were on. He also explained that editing wasn't something he normally did. I looked through 2 pages of the 7 there were and exited the site in tears. I get a call about a month later that my flash drive and box is ready for pickup. I get there and my wedding date is misprinted on the box. It took another 6 months just to get the box back. After a YEAR of this nonsense I contacted a manager and was told that it was the last managers fault and he had been fired. There was nothing they could do. I don't care who is at fault, Complete for being a waste of time and money. Not capable of keeping up with a client who paid over a year in advance. Or Apple Creek Photography for being a creepy old man who couldn't be bothered to do any part of his job that he was being paid more than adequately to do by the company I hired and expected NOT to drop the ball. Well, COMPLETE, you did drop the ball. $1500 for essentially 4-4 1/2 hours out of the 8 I was supposed to get, of unedited crappy photos from an out-of-company-hire who couldn't be bothered to read or follow instructions. Oh, and a misprinted keepsake box the size of my hand that a flash drive came in. That's what $1500 got me.. I have heard others consider your services and have done everything I could to talk them out of it because of my experience with you. I think the only thing that could actually fix it, is a complete refund, or a complete remake of my day so I can get it back and captured the way it should have been the first time. I will never recommend your services to anyone and will actively discourage everyone from ever inquiring into them. Save them a headache, save them money, and hopefully give them the opportunity to have their one-of-a-kind special day captured by a TRUE professional. Shame on you Complete. read more

Our experience with booking Complete was easy and smooth! We met with our DJ and thought everything was good to go until 3 day before the day, we got a call from the owner saying our DJ had been changed. Without going into too much detail, he assured us this change would be better for our event anyway. I was a bit nervous, but decided to give the newly assigned DJ a chance and I'm so glad I did! Jacob really spent the time to get to know us, our story, our vision for the day, and our style of music. He was incredibly professional, personable, and down to earth! I walked away from that meeting feeling incredibly confident in his ability to make our wedding day perfect. Jacob manged our ceremony and made sure everything ran smoothly at the Jewel Box and even offered to run any last minute errands for us between the ceremony and reception. I was also a little leery of Complete after reading some of the reviews. But from the first phone contact with Libby through the whole event, I have nothing but good things to say. I freely admit they were having a discount sale going on which did help with my decision! Our DJ, Sam, was great. We spoke on the phone for almost an hour a few days before so he could get a feel for what we were looking for, and he nailed it. Our ceremony and reception were in the same venue, he kept everything going smoothly, we left the song choices for dinner up to him, and he played great music. My sisters had planned a surprise for us, and he was a part of it and played into it perfectly. We gave him a list of songs we we wanted played that definitely weren't usual reception songs but he played everything we wanted, and took requests. The DJs seemed extremely uninterested in our requests as the bride and groom. We specifically asked for certain music not to be played, they chose to play it as the very first song at the wedding. I asked multiple times for the music to be turned down during dinner, it continued to be so loud we couldn't hear the person next to us speak. He then denied our request for the wedding party dance and played the cha cha slide instead and danced on the floor hoping, he could encourage people, rather than the bride and groom. I spoke to him several times about our music requests and how none of what we wanted was played. BOTH djs continued to ignore the bride, groom, maid of honor, and best man. Towards the end of the night they decided to play the songs through the ages. My guests were extremely confused and I was extremely embarrassed. I asked them to stop, they both looked down laughing. A guest actually made the comment "I think they are doing this on purpose." The vibe, their lack of interest in our wishes, and the downright unprofessionalism put a huge shadow of disappointment over our entire reception. No I will not be referring them to anyone. I selected this company over dozens of others as I expected them to be 100% professional and I wouldn't have to worry about them on my wedding day. I was completely wrong. The attendant arrived late, set up late, and looked like he came right off the street. Crazy pick hair, huge septum piercing, not even a button down shirt. I'm all about being yourself and being unique, but for a wedding I expected a uniform and perhaps even a comb run through his hair. The photo strips didn't have the template that I had requested even after verifying BEFORE booking that they could create it. The photo strips were extremely poor quality, had some folks heads cut off, almost all the strips had our names or dates cut off, pictures are blurry, etc When I asked the attendant about it he shrugged and said the printer was broken and there was nothing he could do. There was an awful gold filter on all the photos and i asked the attendant to remove it and he couldn't figure out how. We had intended these photos to be used for our scrapbook, now every time I see them I'm reminded that I chose poorly but selecting this company. It was extremely disappointing and a really awful experience for my wedding day. I would NEVER hire this company ever again. Honestly if I could rate them 0 stars I would have. Edited to add that this group has since contacted me threatening court and attorney's fees for nonpayment (payment proof attached). I do not believe they care about their customers. read more

Got a wedding video for $900 - was promised professional quality, professional equipment. Was also promised I would get to pick out the music for them. After the wedding I get my video with the following problems: (1) Name spelled wrong on the DVD, (2) Music was not what we picked, (3) Wedding Ceremony was shot FROM THE BACK...missed seeing everyone go down the aisle, which was the whole point of the video (4) video was blurry, (5) panning & zooming was incredibly jerky, (6) they did not get any guest interviews at the reception, (7) they did not have the proper equipment so the lighting was horrible throughout. I scheduled a meeting to address the problems and we were stood up. I rescheduled a second meeting and he was 10 minutes late. He agreed the quality was not good and said, "I am embarrassed to put my name on this." Update (11/5/14): After several negotiations, Complete Music provided a refund of $350 and provided me and my husband with all of the raw footage as compensation for all of the issues we experienced. It was difficult to find an agreed upon settlement that was fair for both us and for Complete Music due to the fact you can never "redo" your wedding, but it seems like they did the best they could with what we had available to us. Once we did reach a solution, they were prompt about sending us our payment and our footage. read more

We had complete do our uplighting and DJ. The uplighting was flawless. The mood was set perfectly and it made our pictures look amazing. The DJ was a total mess. Before the wedding, I called the company 2 or 3 separate times to voice concern about the set up. We had our ceremony downstairs and reception upstairs in the same building. The cocktail hour began right after the ceremony ended, which I told them multiple times. They reassured me that the set up would go quickly and we didn't need two separate setups. I filled out the questionnaire and spoke with the DJ 3 days before the wedding. When I voiced concern about the set up to him, he was shocked! He said they never told him we were moving upstairs and that is was near impossible to start upstairs right after the ceremony. He made some calls and told me it was figured out. He couldn't have been more wrong. The day of, we realized he wasn't using all the versions of songs we downloaded for the major dances. We asked on the questionnaire to have classical music playing before the ceremony and he was playing Rihanna songs that were remade into classical songs. We discussed on the phone that we wanted composers like Bach and Beethoven. . .not club music reimagined. After the ceremony we went to the rooftop to take pictures. The DJ's setup that was supposed to go quickly took no less than 30-45 minutes. He told me all he had to do was plug his computer in. We were stuck in a small hot room and elevator waiting for him to announce us in. Again, in the questionnaire we asked him to not announce the maid of honor and best man because our wedding party was little different. He announced them anyway and named the wrong people. We decided to not do a garter toss and said so in the paper work we filled out. He announced it anyway. The paper works asked for must play songs. . .he didn't play any of them. We asked to have a high energy feel with a mix of genres, decades, and slow songs thrown in. He only played club music and only one slow song. We asked that he wouldn't take requests and he took several. We asked for no country music and a few were played. To top it all off, one of the speakers was blown out and we had to wait for the DJ's boss to come fix it or replace it. While the music wasn't exactly what we asked for, people were dancing all night and I am thankful for that. That being said, it was very frustrating that we took the time to fill out the paper work and talk to the DJ over the phone just to basically have everything ignored. It felt very unorganized and unprofessional. I can't say I would ever recommend Complete to anyone. The music was the only frustration of the day. read more

My fiancé and I booked Complete Music for our wedding on September 2012. You don't find out who your DJ will be until a week before the wedding because of changing schedules. Our DJ was Buck Shepard. Our wedding and reception were at Chaumettte Winery near Coffman, MO. Buck's bio, rightfully, says that his strength is Country. Our wedding was about as un-country as you could get, so we were a little apprehensive. We talked to Buck before the wedding to lay out our plans and he put our apprehensions to rest. From the music for the cake cutting {"Happy Together," by The Turtles... which had the whole room singing along) to the last song of the evening, the music selection was awesome. The dance floor was filled from first song to last and went from the 60s to Lady Gaga. All seamlessly. Numerous people commented on the play list. The staff serving food even said they had never heard such a great play list and had fun listening. I've even had several guests ask me for a copy of the playlist! Kudos to Complete Music and Buck. I would recommend them both wholeheartedly. read more

Wow, I'm really surprised to read the terrible reviews on here. I hated the thought of having a dj at my wedding but my wife was set on it. I was pleasantly surprised as we had no hiccups or issues leading up to the wedding, the played (and didn't play) everything that we requested ahead of time with their extensive paperwork, and our DJ really kept the crowd moving. Poor photography skills and poor customer service. Complete is a middle man. We thought the man selling us the photography package would be taking our photos, or at least an experienced photographer would. Instead, we got someone they sent who didn't organize the groups, didn't follow the timeline, and was not professional in her behavior. The pictures that our family took are better quality. Because your wedding day cannot be a "retake", I would advise finding someone you know personally, someone who knows someone, not a service like this one. They also try to "upsell" and then when confronting them about poor service, the manager made inappropriate comments and was not willing to come up with a solution. read more

After my engagement last year, my, then, fiancé and I began planning immediately. We wanted to get all of the big things out of the way as fast as we could. We didn't know a lot of people who had recently been married, and quite frankly, we did not know which companies/people to turn to for wedding services. A friend of my step-mom suggested that we use Zach "Attack" Lorton as our DJ. She swore that her daughter's wedding success was due largely to his excellent services. We put off actually looking into him and moved on to the photographer, an old friend, instead. During our first consultation with her, she gave us an entire stack of business cards from various services that came with her professional approval/suggestion. Among these was Zach's card. We decided it must have been a sign, and we went with it, scheduling Zach soon afterwards. For all you future brides and grooms: this wedding planning can get really hectic and stressful! I was a little skeptical about the online "Event Planner" that Complete Music supplies their customers with. What do you mean I fill everything out online and I don't have to contact with my actual DJ until the month of my wedding? Can you say one of the absolute least stressful aspects of the entire wedding?? This is where I would like to clarify some things for anyone reading the previous, negative, reviews. Perhaps those reviews had been written before this planner was offered. We reserved Zach approximately 10 months before our wedding. You can access the planner immediately..the planner has a complete list of their songs. Therefore, I had 10 months to review which songs I could use for my reception. I also had open communication with the DJ: If there was a song I did not see on the twenty-something-page song list (there was not in my case), I could easily ask Zach to add it for me. For the person complaining about their DJ doing the worm and dancing himself: You have the choice on the planner to select which 'personality' type you would like your DJ to exhibit. I, personally, wanted a very outgoing DJ, and I would have LOVED it if Zach had dropped down and showed us how to do the worm. Instead of the worm, our DJ talked our guests through the steps of some of the more popular group dance songs...a VERY nice touch! There is also a section on the planner that allows you to choose songs that you absolutely WANT played, do NOT WANT played, and would PREFER to have played. This takes care of the person complaining about the hokey pokey and duck dance and the person with the breakup song. (I know this is getting long..but I really want to provide a good picture of how AWESOME this service was). My actual event could not have gone more wrong and perfect at the same time. It rained on my, supposed to be, outdoor wedding! Without a great photographer, event planner, and DJ, my day could have easily been completely ruined. However, Zach, along with the others, went out of their way to make sure that it was especially perfect! He worked excellently with the officiant, photographer, and event planner, even calling/emailing them in advance to get all of the details in line without bothering me more than necessary. The timing and setup of everything went as smooth as possible. Zach found us at various points during the night to ask if everything was going okay and to see if we needed anything. He helped to make sure that we stayed with the timeline we had established, without being pushy at all. Also, he made a point to go around to the tables to personally take requests from our guests. I was already planning on leaving a positive review on here based on my wedding day experiences, but the professionalism did not end there. Today, we received a hand written thank you note in the mail from Zach! This was such a nice gesture on top of the excellent service we have already received! I have had several of my guests compliment me on our DJ; I know many of them took his business card; and I would highly recommend Complete Music DJ (especially Zach Attack) to anyone who asked me!! read more

We paid nearly $2,000 for 2 videographers and they didn't capture the bride's face during the entire wedding ceremony. Yes, that's right, one of the 2 most important people at the wedding and videographers decided to only capture the bride's face for 4 seconds as she walked up the aisle. The rest of the 25 minute ceremony is shot from directly behind the bride's head, so all you see is the bride's hair. We even had a meeting with the lead videographer, Tim, 2 weeks before the wedding and specifically stated it was VERY IMPORTANT to make sure you could clearly see close-ups of BOTH the bride and groom's faces during the wedding and were told it would be "no problem". There were 2 perfect opportunities during which the lead videographer could have changed sides (during our glass ceremony or the rose ceremony) and instead Tim decided to capture only the groom's face and the back of the bride's head. We received our wedding video back just before Valentine's Day and noticed the problem (you know, the lack of the bride's face) and that there was only 1 angle even though there were 2 videographers. We then had to deal with Jeremy, Complete's Production Manager, and it was terrible. You'd think with an issue this bad they'd handle it right away. Instead we ended up dealing with him until July (yes, 5 months) over this issue. They didn't apologize until April and he would take weeks to follow up with me. It turns out the second videographer only tapes from the very end of the aisle and never moves (the reason the second angle wasn't included at first was because the angle is so far away you can's see either of our faces and since we're in front of a window it's all shadowy) so it was up to the lead videographer, Tim, to capture our faces. I didn't find this information out until May. We were also never offered any kind of refund and at one point Jeremy even said we should have upgraded to a better package with more videographers. So, don't hire Complete because it apparently costs more than $2,000 to ensure they capture both the bride and groom's face and for that amount of money you can hire a better company that actually has enough pride in their work that they'd care if they screwed up the video of the most important day of your life. Our wedding video will forever be ruined because of them and always cause me to be so devastated that I still can't watch it without sobbing. Don't let them ruin your video too and hire ANYONE else, even an amateur with a video camera knows to capture the bride's face. read more

We used Complete in Sept 2014 and it was great. We used Complete again in Oct 2017. Started great, had a couple process hiccups but finished strong. The photos and video were fantastic, photographer/videographer had the right touch at the venues, DJ worked hard to keep dance floor moving. Complete went out of its way to clean up hiccups. We had our wedding back in June. We paid for two photographers, dj, photo booth, and videographer. Only one of the two photographers actually took pictures. The second one which was the man's wife sat on her butt the entire time!!! The man who took our pictures was extremely rude to me and my husband along with the videographer. We told the company and photographers that we had two children so it was important to us to have pictures with them. We have ONE family picture and I don't have a single picture with my son! Because none were taken. We have maybe 5 bridal party pictures because that is all he took. But lucky enough I have about 50 different pictures of my dress. When the photographer asked us if we wanted group pictures of random people at our reception we told him no several time. But still I ended up with pictures of family's at our wedding rather then pictures I asked for. It's absolutely heartbreaking to me that I can never go back to this day to get the pictures I wanted and paid for. When we contacted your company you stood up for your employee and said i would love my pictures when I got them back. I CRIED!! And wont show anyone these horrible pictures. Your company has not been supportive at all. I could go on and on about how terrible our photographer and pictures turned out. Sad part is you tell me he was your best! Then you have the dj. Who was very sweet but messed up every name on our line up coming into the reception. And had absolutely no idea what music needed to be played. He asked us all night long what to do even tho I filled out that lovely stack of papers telling what needed to be done. ( you say he is one of your senior djs) we thought he was new.... Our videographer was great! All the things he showed us he was tapeing that night looked great! Sad to say that's not what we got on the video we received. The song for the video isn't even a song we know. All around we are very disappointed in what we got back for how much we paid. But even more disappointed in your company for not taking better care of your customers. What you guys need to realize is this is someone's big day not something you get to do over. We hired Complete Wedding & Events for our wedding when we met them at the Wedding Expo August 2018 -- and everything from there was just as easy! They were professional and accommodating, timely with correspondence, and put us at ease when it came to wedding planning. We greatly appreciated the online "forms" and questionnaire to be completed so that we were able to request a DJ that was tailored to our preferences. We were fortunate enough to be assigned Christian as our DJ -- and he delivered 100%. We met a week before the wedding to iron out details, and we knew we were in good hands! From the moment he started, he was enthusiastic and kept the flow of the night going! He really listened to our requests and seamlessly incorporated special moments for our guests that we had added in. A month later, and our guests are still raving about how good Christian was -- some are even asking "how can we hire him?" Somehow, Complete Music DJ's claim they are "North America's #1 DJ Service". I am baffled by how they won this acclaim. I booked Complete Music DJ for my wedding May 2010. Initially I was very impressed with their customer service and they came highly recommended from a friend. I booked them, received the planning paperwork, and put them in the back of my mind until about a month before the wedding. Something came up and I tried to cancel my services. Holy rude cow, they were so mean to me. Immediately threats of lawsuits came flying at me as they explained I was contractually bound to them and would have to pay in full if I chose to cancel, even if I received no services. Okay, how about you say that nicely? Everyone I talked to from Complete Music from then on out, except our actual DJ, was rather horrible to me on the phone. Less than a week before the wedding they informed me that they require you to pay them to be set up 30 minutes prior to the event. If you are requiring you be set up by then, but I did not ask you to, why should I pay you for it? It felt like they were grubbing money from the frazzled bride at the last minute, and I told them that. To be "nice" the guy split the cost with me. argh. I could not get out of it. Our DJ, Kenny, called us prior to the event, met with us in person, and was courteous and professional. Unfortunately, Kenny and Complete Music DJs had VERY few of the songs we requested to be played. Kenny tried his best to get them, but Complete Music only uses CDs and will not obtain additional music for you. So we ended up downloading and burning our own music onto a CD for our DJ to use. What did I pay for again? And we had a few very specific requests for the DJ to say. He forgot some of the very important stuff on the actual wedding day. He was nice and accommodating though, and brought me a rose for my new husband to present to me at our first dance. Nice touch, but otherwise, I was not overly impressed. I would never recommend Complete Music DJs, and I totally disagree that they are #1 in North America. read more

Our daughter just got married, and we chose COMPLETE Music Video to provide the DJ for the evening. We arrived at the reception venue and were immediately greeted by Nick, our DJ, with a handshake and introductions. He was dressed in a full suit and looked super professional. He ran the show for the evening, and he was superb...he was awesome...he was absolutely fantastic!! We have been to many weddings and realize the whole night can be ruined by a crappy DJ, but we had the best, and the night was awesome! There was never one single minute of when the dance floor was empty...there were always plenty of people dancing. The brides' grandparents thoroughly loved the beautiful music he played during dinner too! Hire COMPLETE and you won't be sorry! read more
