I hired Tower to video my daughter's wedding; not being from St. Louis or really knowing people there being on short notice and took a chance: so glad we went with Tower and Laurie! I was very picky on what kind of video I wanted - for gosh sakes, you're paying A LOT of money for just an edited song or two! But this place, Tower Studios, made us feel like we didn't pay enough. The videographer was always around, even during pictures, and got amazing shots and gave us the PERFECT video. I won't lie, I had to talk my now-husband into a videographer - it took weeks - but now that we've watched it probably a hundred times he's still blown away. They got EVERYTHING we wanted and we are now able to relive that amazing (though it was stressful and FLEW by) over and over again. I can't praise these guys enough. read more

Tower Studios saved my wedding! The photographer I hired botched the entire day of photographs. THANK GOODNESS FOR TOWER STUDIOS!! The work from my video was AMAZING! What is even better when you purchase the entire footage for the day along with your video, which I highly recommend you can get pictures from the frames/stills. I feel terrible; I cannot remember the videographer's name that was assigned to our wedding. I believe one of the reasons I cannot remember is because she did her job so well. We only saw/noticed her a few times though out the entire day. So many people were surprised we said we had a videographer because they said they never saw anyone! She was like a ghost, out of the way doing her job and going totally unnoticed by everyone. The finished product from Tower Studios is TOP NOTCH! I am so happy and excited to show my video to everyone. They managed to capture the most important parts of the day and put it together so well, you were reeling by the end of the video. Since you are busy as the bride and groom so many little things go unnoticed, you don't realize things until you see it later on video. My husband and I are so pleased we have this to remember our loved ones and friends who came to share our day. Another good thing about them is if you are like we were you don't have all the money up front to reserve the day with them. They offer payment plans on line, we did this and it was so easy to just log on and make payments. I cannot recommend Tower Studios enough to do your wedding day. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! We really wish we had a better experience with Tower Studios. We chose Tower Studios as our videographer because their example videos were beautiful and they had excellent reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. Not only is there 2 hours of footage missing from our wedding day that we'll never get back (even though our package included unlimited footage) the quality was disappointing. This is honestly the only vendor from our entire wedding that we had a negative experience with, and we absolutely LOVED our photography (by Jessica Lauren Photography!). I felt safe booking with Tower Studios because no matter what, we knew we could get the raw footage, but after viewing it we know that's where all the problems started. In the footage we saw in the example videos, the audio was high quality and there were tons of creative shots of the wedding day. While ours it seems like the camera was sitting on a tripod, with no creativity or thought put into capturing the story of the day. Much of the audio (including the bride reading a letter from the groom) was unusable because of the poor quality. Even more issues arrived as we received our first draft of our wedding day video, and it seemed as though an intern had spent a few hours piecing the footage together. We shared it with many of our close friends and everyone had the same reaction -- it was a jumble of random clips just thrown together. It didn't make you feel like you were reliving the wedding day, as their example videos had. After expressing our concerns to our Tower Studios contact, they ignored our concerns and responded with a positive spin on everything without ever admitting their errors. After that, we requested our raw footage and our contact let us know it'd take a couple weeks to receive it (I don't understand how it takes 2 weeks to transfer the footage when I was able to transfer it from a drive to my laptop in 20 minutes, but that was the least of my concerns). Once we received it, we spent HOURS reviewing it and making extremely detailed notes on all the shots we liked and everything we wanted removed from the video. FIFTY days later, we received a new version of our video, which was certainly better (because we gave them specific direction on how to fix it) but didn't even incorporate all of our edits. We responded to request the edits yet again, and our Tower Studios contact let us know that AS A FAVOR TO US they could make these edits, because they normally don't allow an additional round of edits. Today, we received an updated version. While better, it's still not what we could have had if we'd have gone with someone else, or the kind of video Tower Studios would have chosen for their example videos on their website. But ultimately, we're frustrated and tired of dealing with them so we're just accepting it. Sometime in the future, when we have money available to spend on it, we'd like to give the raw footage to someone else to edit together so we can have a video that really tells a beautiful story of our wedding day. read more

My husband and I booked Tower Studios for our 2014 May wedding in St. Louis. When initially planning our wedding, I was reluctant to book a videographer because with the photographer, I was worried about having too many people in my face or intruding after some of the horror stories I had heard from other brides. This was absolutely not the case with Andrew and the rest of the Tower Studios crew. They were very unobtrusive and awesome to work with through the entire process. I had some difficulty selecting the songs we were going to use, but no worries Jeanette because was more than happy to send me some she thought I may like and work with me to pick the perfect ones. Even when we received our video and I asked for some corrections, they were more than happy to accommodate us and have went above and beyond ensuring there wasn't anything else we wanted done. Tower Studios were a great value and phenomenal at capturing our memories - I would absolutely recommend them to any bride! read more
