When I signed on with PSR, I was just laid off from the Feds. The only thing on my resume was…read moreretail, and music which gets you nowhere if you're looking for a serious office job. But I went to where ever PSR sent me. I worked in small offices, medium sized offices and huge operations. The same offices which would never consider me to work one day after looking at my resume, were asking me to stay on for 3 months, six months, eleven months, from 2-3 day appointments. PSR also has great clients. I was treated extremely well, and when I had anything resembling a problem , I always checked with "the PSR office". From 2006-2012, I've had so many going away parties because I got along with my PSR clients. My big heart breaker was when my term was up for a child Care Center. The staff gave me a going away party. The teacher's and the 3-5 year olds gave me a send-off, with hand drawn pictures, a fist full of sparkles, and other handmade lump-in-the-throat sentiments. I eventually settled in a job which asked me to stay as a permanent employee. PSR wasn't sweating me or the client about money or contracts, instead, they were very supportive which made it extremely hard to leave them, but the had my best interest in mind and I couldn't say that happens with many jobs. I truly miss working for PSR. I am constantly referring any students I think are trustworthy ( i WOULDN'T SEND ANYBODY TO WASTE THEIR TIME). I've been a permanent employee at a prestigious College for 4 years.

This group is probably the best I've worked with. Very professional. Diane in particular has a…read morewarmth and intelligence when interacting with people. I also love the PS&R personal touch: When you get hired for a job they send you an encouraging email; when the job's done, they send another one expressing their appreciation and an upbeat note about future prospects. Nice. Not many employment agencies know (or care enough to know) that adding those extra touches makes a difference to clients who are stressed out in this still shaky economy. Certainly has made a difference for me.

I must say I have to completely disagree with Darrah. My experience with Randstad in Burlington was…read morevery positive. Not only did I meet with Roman he introduced me to the other people in the office. When I came in he offered me coffee and water that I declined due to the nerves. During the interview he asked me many difficult questions but gave made me feel comfortable to answer honestly. Since I have registered with Roman I have received emails from David, Marc, and the other person on job opportunities in all of the areas that they work in. There must have been a good reason for Randstad to not communicate with the other review.

Ok here goes nothing. I worked with Lauren at the Milford…read moreoffice and she was great. Got me a few week gig close by to my house also great. She continued to find me jobs after I had found, full time employment on my own. A year later I am currently looking for work again and the Milford office now does not do the office and admin anymore but the Burlington office does. I drove 40 miles from my house to re interview with a recruiter named Roman. Such a waste of time. Not only did he Dilly dally and make me wait while he was clearly not busy. Our interview was such a joke. Not only did he offer me a Job that was already on my resume the job was 50 miles away from my house After we had just discussed I was only willing to travel 20. He didn't even look at my resume. Then he didn't answer any of my "checking up" emails. So I laid into him...don't think I'll be getting a job with this company. Use this company just not Roman.

This so called Employment Staffing Agency is the worst.. For anyone in the Billerica MA area,…read morePlease AVOID Triton Staffing. Very unprofessional in all aspects of assisting unemployed workers. I know first hand. A year ago Triton Staffing placed me in a Temp to Perm position at a manufacuring company.. There 1st lie was telling me the "Temp" part was for 3 months then the company would have the option to hire me directly.. my 3 months went by, then another month. I finally spoke to the companies HR director and she informed me that Triton signed a 1 yr "temp" contract.. so I called my rep "Tatiane" at Triton and she claimed she never signed such contract.. I'm not done yet..The company I was placed at was losing business therefore there was a layoff.. I applied for enemployment ( at which Triton would be responsilbe for). I obided by the rules of working with a Temp Agency.. once you are involved in a lay-off you need to contact your agency rep once a week letting them know you are still available for work which I did.. After applying for enemployment weeks and weeks went by without receiving a benefit check ( to which I was clearly eligible for ),, I finally called my unemployment office and they told me that Triton Staffing informend them that I "Voluntarily" quit.. Are you Kidding me??? So of course I called Triton to find out why they told unemployment that I so called "Quit" and guess what.. I was hung up on. I called again and was then yelled at.. At that point, I physically went to Tritons Office and was told that if I didn't leave, they were going to call the police.. It is beyond me how this so called Staffing Agency is still in business, But I have a feeling they won't for long.. I know for a fact that I am not the only person they have done this to.

I cannot rave about Manning enough! I have a very "unique" background, that is hard to fit in the…read morejobs I was applying for, due to a career change because of certain circumstances, leaving me burnt out and depressed in the job application process. I went months and months of applying endlessly, and the only interviews I seem to get were the ones where I had a connection (and I'm not particularly good with networking to begin with, so they were far and few). I searched for 'top recruiters in Boston' and let's just say they all disappointed. I won't mention them by name, but they wasted my time, gave me false hope and had little follow-through on their part, with no contact for months, and I would get pathetic, measly replies after hounding them. After being burnt several times by useless recruiting agencies (you know who you are), I decided that I will try the next one down the list, with no expectations whatsoever. I worked primarily with Dave, and he was so caring and kind, and I finally felt I had my own cheerleader in this dreadful job hunting process. Within a week, he had 3 interviews lined up for me. Within 2.5 weeks, from first contact, I started my new job! I would've started sooner if it weren't for the holidays. They really follow-through, and when they say they're looking for openings for you, they mean it! Before every interview, I had a call with Dave to prep me for what's to come. I didn't even ask for it -- he just did it! They went above and beyond, and they continue to keep in touch with me to make sure all is good in the new place. I met several former Manning candidates in this job and other places I interviewed, and they all have nothing but amazing things to say, and it's no surprise there. I know at this point I am sounding like I get commission for endorsements lol, but the truth is, I was in a difficult spot, mentally, financially, and I would want anyone else in a similar situation to find the same help that I did. Vocational rehabilitation, if you will. Save yourself the frustration, and start with them first.

It was so refreshing to have people in your corner who are dedicated to getting you placed in a role. Ellie is an absolute sweetheart and she and Kelly worked around the clock to get me into a position. I'm genuinely a little sad that I won't get my daily (yes, you read that correctly DAILY) updates from my girls at Manning. Thank you so much to the Manning team! Work with them, you will not regret it!
