Almost a year ago to the day, I took my John Deere to the shop and for a general tuneup, When I got it back, it never ran right, they told me it was the connection in the seat. I tried to contact them 3 times with no response. I took it to Pape' for a tuneup this week, they told me the seals on carburetor weren't seated correctly & my fuel filter was put in backwards. I'm out $got another one 350 bucks for the most horrible tuneup job on the planet. I definitely would not recommend taking anything to these people. read more

My husqavarna deck mower needed a new spindle and I also had 3 new blades installed. Everyone from the front desk to the shop were very friendly. Their work is outstanding and their prices are really reasonable. I'm really hard on my mower since I live in the country and I seem to grow rocks. I have found my new go-to repair service. The service provided was extremely poor. The technician who came to diagnose the dishwasher initially reported that the only issue was with the door latch, and that everything else (the control board and wiring) was functioning as expected. He said he needed to speak to his manager "David" to discuss the price and availability of the door latch. When the technician returned, he quoted a price of $250+ tax, stating that he now needed to replace the wiring and door latch, really doubt the person visited is messenger or technician . Within a few minutes, he then changed the quoted price to $350. When I requested to speak to the manager, the technician called the manager, speak in different language which i dont understand and gave the phone to me, their manger David immediately stated the price would be $350 without any further discussion. The door latch is available directly from the GE website for a $30 - https://www.geapplianceparts.com/store/parts/spec/WD21X10490 Also during initial call the service will be covered with $110 even with fixture and said it will be covered I would rate this service less than 1 star if possible, and want to warn everyone against using this company for any repairs. We've used Complete Repair Service for two different pieces of equipment and got good service both times. They called to say that the repair person was sick so we knew why there was a delay which was appreciated. They're friendly and professional and their prices are reasonable. read more

Horrible service. We left our Champion generator there to be fixed. They spend 3 months with it going through warranty with Champion. We had little to no follow-up from them in the 3 months. We picked it up finally on Saturday 6/17/23 drove it home and when we started it the exact same issue was still an issue. There was dust all over the outside and inside - dust that hadn't been disturbed. I called left a message for them to call me back on Monday - they did not. I called and a rude woman stated I could drop it off again (why would I) otherwise there was nothing they could do. No one would call me back. Do not use this company! They charged Champion to do a warranty fix and did not do it. I will be reporting them to the Attorney General, Champion and the BBB. Beware of this company. read more

Both my dad and I have gone to CRS for years - very nice and knowledgeable people. I highly recommend them. Yes they have seasonal delays but Thurston county does not have enough places like CRS so it really isn't their fault. They do a great job every time, they get the job done as fast as possible and are very reliable. I will always go to these folks. They are wonderful! read more

They were to sharpen a chain for my saw only. I told them I did not want any other work done to the saw. They did do more work on the saw and charged me for it, completely disregarded my statement that I did not want any other work done. I will not be going back. read more

I had terrible luck here. They took a piece of equipment in for warranty repair. The intake sheet even said "warranty." Weeks later they called and said they couldn't fix it and it would cost me nearly $40 to get it back. I was angry, they were rude and the story kept changing. The manufacturer helped me find another shop who discovered melted wires, broken screws and other damage from the feeble repair attempt. I was reimbursed by the manufacturer and shipped a new unit so I'm whole but this was pretty bad. read more

To make a long yesterday morning short, I wound up at Complete Equipment Repair yesterday morning. I have had an Echo gas hand held blower in excess of 20+ years. It would not start the other day so I took it into Complete Repair to see what it would cost to get it running again. As I remember it was going to be $80 - $100 to fix. I didn't want to spend that much to fix the ole blower. I'd been looking at an Echo "Back Pack" gas blower 580 T & they had one on their display shelf. After some conversation I told them I'd take it. It was a little bit more money than the box stores "But" it was already to go & Scott (I think that was his name) took it in the back & put some gas in it, fired it up & took me through the procedures on how to run it & made sure I knew what I was doing. Highly recommended this place & I will be back. Glad there are still family owned business like Complete that are still around & I like to support the family owned business like Complete. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. They must have new owners because this was the best place in town. I went in today to have service work done on my Poulan equipment (Poulan is owned by Husqvarna) which CRS sells and was told by the woman at the counter that Poulan is garbage and only built to last a year and I should just throw my equipment away. I informed her Husqvarna owns Poulan and she told me I was wrong. She should know the brands Husqvarna owns since they claim they are a Husqvarna service center. I told her my equipment has worked great for 10 plus years and I just wanted them serviced so I could start using them this year and she said NOPE, not servicing them they are garbage. I told her I have used CRS for years and I would never be coming back and she said "OK have a nice day". I will never be back there again. read more

I have bought a number of Echo tools from CRS and they have always been trouble free, until I bought a echo pole saw from CRS. From the first time I started it it has had problems, no power when trying to cut even a 1" branch. I have taken it back three times. Each time they change the fuel adjust the carburetor. still the same problem, this time they charged me $38.00 and when I told the girl at the desk that I should not have to pay when it was not fixed the first two times, she said " its out of warranty, you should have brought it back right after we worked on it" I said I did not need it until this month I just figured it would perform as it should. She said : we changed the fuel, we only use non ethanol fuel : at this point I was getting upset. I told her it had the same fuel in it that they put in when they worked on it last. She said that she does not know that for sure. WOW ! I would never say that to one of my customers. I will be going back to talk to the owner, maybe that will help, or maybe not, but if they want my business back they will have to earn it. read more

I brought my working Honda mower in for yearly maintenance. Six weeks and five broken promises later, I picked up my mower in a box full of pieces. Needless to say, I was unhappy. If that wasn't enough, a guy claiming to be the owners son is out in the parking lot cussing at my wife. This place is a joke. I can't believe they remain in business. read more

These are the NICEST people I have encountered in a very long time. While I haven't used them for landscaping, they saved me and my car when I was stuck in a ditch today. I didn't even have to flag them down - they just pulled right over and got me out within a few minutes. When I do need landscaping, I will certainly be calling them to help once again. I give them a 0 rating. It took 6 days for them to call me with an appraisal. Then exactly 10 minutes later they called to say it was done. And for 10 minutes they charged me $88 to replace a $4 spark plug. The owner's daughter is at the counter acting as if I'm the problem. Then purposely left me to load the machine in my car by myself. And i guess they thought that was funny. I will never return. From then till now I've spoken to 5 people about this and each of those 5 people have experienced bad customer service there. read more

I took my Cub Cadet garden tractor in for a diagnostic the 3rd week of March and didn't get a call until 4/23/20. In this call, from Carina, telling us that the tractor was ready. They advertise that a diagnostic is $35.00 plus tax and also ask if you want them to contact you before fixing anything or just fix it. I am disabled so of course I wanted to know how much it would cost before I had it fixed. I was told that it would be approximately $311.00 for a voltage regulator and an ignition switch so I decided to just go pick it up. When I got there to pay for my diagnostic I was given a bill for $311.00! I immediately said NO, I wasn't asked if I wanted the mower fixed...I don't have that money right now so Carina said she would go talk to the mechanic. She came back and said the mechanic would take off the new parts and put the old ones back on and I could pick it up the next day, this was at approximately 2 pm. I drove back home and as soon as I pulled into my driveway I got a call that the mower was ready to pick up. I went to pick it up, paid for the diagnostic and backed my truck up to have it loaded (it was sitting in the driveway ready to go); apparently the owner was very upset (rude bald guy) because he was too ignorant to know to disengage the transmission...he pushed it up the ramps while lifting the back of the mower. Maybe the majority of people who go there will take their dishonest crap and just pay the bill because they've fixed it but not me. Also, they charge $85.00hr labor but when I said I just want to pick up my mower; they were able to take the new voltage regulator and ignition off and put the old ones back on in less than a half an hour....how could my labor cost be so high if they could take it apart and put it back together that quick. DON'T go to this business, they are taking advantage of people by just fixing things before asking; and they are so ARROGANT! I will NEVER go back AND I will go out of my way to discourage others from using their services...what a day! read more

The front desk person ( Carina ? ) who I understand is Pat the owners daughter is rude, defensive and unprofessional. She operates somewhat as a "gate keeper" to Pat ( although they contradict each other). Let this be your first indicator of a poorly run business. In my opinion they are over priced, do less then average work, and take much longer then they estimate. Probably most important is lack of communication and transparency and what appears to be dishonesty or possibly theft. We are reporting them to the BBB as well and in that report will go into further specific details around our transaction(s) with them. I realize there are limited number of small engine repair shops in the area and it might be temping to use Complete Repair Services..my strong advice is DO NOT. Note: I have never written a review of any business and ideally would of rather communicated and compromised in this situation however as I stated these folks are very difficult to deal with.
