Seemed like terry is burnt out on his craft and wanted to move on after pruning tree with no after care assistance provided to me. I asked questions and was told, "you need to get a hobby." Very disappointed $650 later. To current, 2/13/20, leaves are dropping off my lemon tree, and it appears there is a potential fungus or disease with the tree. Had another professional tree service co. Assess. Initially I mentioned, to terry, that the lemon tree could have a potential issue due to some bark on the tree falling off. Nothing was mentioned regarding a potential fungus or a disease. I do not recommend terry's tree service. Not customer service friendly and rude as well. Very condescending.

They got paid the initial cleaning fee of $900 to clean the yard. They dumped the brushes they cut…read moreinto the dumpster I rented from the city. The simple task was to upkeep the yard in the condition it got cleaned to for certain amount. They have been failing to do the job if supervision is not applied. Furthermore, when you ask them why they stopped watering the bushes for example, the answer was to pay them $25 more per visit so they hold the hose for 5 min. They do not upkeep the yard, the trees started to die, too much weed killer as well, perhaps. We never watered those bushes when we lived there, they are native to the desert and never died. The yard grows some weeds, oops, it is $120 more to spray the " extra" weeds. Because they have not being upkeeping or over spraying with weed killer, the bushes and the small trees started to die. I have a dead young palm tree as well. When you tell them to do what you have being paying them for, it is an extra $100 per visit. What have you been doing for the money you get? The bushes and small trees are the only things to maintain. Have you being mowing the rocks? When you do the " cleaning and maintenance trip" and you charge without getting the job done consistently, then ask for extra money to do what you were getting paid for and you did not do, it is a scam. $220 per hour for yard maintenance visit? I'm sorry , it's not BMW dealership service shop.

Highly recommend for quality of work and fairness of price…read more We became acquainted with SVH Landscaping Services when our neighbor had his trees trimmed by Saul. We asked for a quote for 3 trees and we immediately hired them. We ended up adding another 4 palms and 3 smaller trees to the job. The reason we added more trees it's because the crew gave us a very fair price and they handled themselves like professionals. SVH, owner Saul, has all the equipment to cut and mulch big trees with huge branches. We have a Eucalyptus tree that is maybe 30-40ft in height and we were having too much debris going into the pool. Also the eucalyptus tree was heavy on one side and we had concerns about branches breaking with a strong wind. SVH definitely makes sure you get your monies worth by trimming a lot, so if you don't want your trees too bare, make sure to let them know because they work hard for their money. We are definitely pleased with the results and absolutely, recommend SVH Landscaping Services. Concerning liability, because 2 of our trees were very tall, we were concerned about liability; thankfully, SVH is licensed and insured, so that gave us peace of mind. Our observations of this crew is that they run like a well oiled machine, but it was definitely scary to watch them up high on the trees, fortunately, they know what they are doing and we were VERY happy with the results.
