I should not be so hard on myself. Dr Reiner taught me that the ability to both accept and deflect criticism is a very valuable skill, a technique he applies to himself when working through his negative Yelp reviews. But as we both agreed, these types of things are easier said than done. Even though he hasn't replied publicly to any of his haters on Yelp, I got the sense that he has acknowledged these issues and is working to try to better himself. In a way, he almost took pride in accepting negative reviews. And I guess you could say, in this case Yelp is the therapist's therapist.

He spends as much time as you possibly need during your visit and tries to accommodate you on whatever issue you may have. He is extremely caring and so incredibly smart. I had to get both my hips replaced and he was able to pinpoint why and what was wrong with me before I even saw an orthopedic. He also has great bedside manner and makes you feel so comfortable throughout your appointment. I recommend him to all my friends and family. Even my boyfriend, Dave, goes to him. Gabby, and Jackie are great too! They always find my vein first try when giving me infusions or taking my blood. Sam works at the front desk and is an absolute sweetheart. Finally, Crystal. They wrote me an auto response email saying they were concerned and would follow up. Have I heard from them? No. Did they post my review? No. I can't put into words how truly disgusted I am with this doctor. I wasted hundreds of dollars on him in hopes of getting my life back with the help of alternative medicine. Instead, he told me my disease was mental (I have plenty of proof that it's not), and that I should read a couple of recommended books. I'm not even kidding. At the time I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt because he seemed like he wanted to help. In retrospect, I realize how vulnerable I was at that moment, and he completely took advantage. He made me wait hours for my appointment, and then had the nerve to tell me he had children to feed (making my visit as short as possible). Ironically, his staff is WONDERFUL.
