Delivery and setup were smooth, communication was consistent, and his follow-through was exactly what you hope for when managing a big project. I also had the opportunity to meet and get to know Austin, the owner, and I was extremely impressed with him. Obviously the pandemic had a huge impact on local gyms resulting in long term closures, etc. My wife and I decided to build a home gym in a garage that was previously being used for storage. I worked closely with Lance Zavela ordering a full set of commercial level dumbbells and several other key pieces of equipment. Lance worked hard to get my equipment delivered as quickly as possible given the incredibly high demand for home gym equipment throughout 2020. Lance did a GREAT job of keeping us informed as the equipment became available and then arranging delivery when our new gym was ready. CGS owner Austin and his team were accommodating, communicative, flexible and honest with my purchase and installation of a Precor elliptical. The machine required some adjustments to get into my home and they were willing and able to do it. The machine is refurbished and looked like new. I was offered a 1 year warranty and assured that the CGS team would be able to help me with any issues. It was a big decision for me to give up a gym membership during a time when gyms are closed and invest in a piece of cardio equipment, I did alot of research and had many conversations with Austin and he talked me through everything. During this pandemic, I had a very difficult time finding an elliptical. Being spoiled at the gym, I wanted a Precor elliptical, but couldn't find an affordable option. I decided to come in the same day and was welcomed by Lance, the Sales Director. He was very knowledgeable! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! Stay away! I have been looking around for exercise equipment and found this place on line. It's quite a drive for me but I have been desperate since the gym closures. I talked to Austin multiple times about what they had in stock, prices, etc and so we agreed on a time for me to go there. He said he would have some machines set up for me to try out. I drive out there and nothing was set up, only boxes of stuff. He said if I came back on Monday the following week he would have them set up with a quote he sent me that floor models were $2000 and new machines were $2500. So when I got there he pawned me off on some new salesperson. I tried out the machines and was ready to purchase the floor model for $2000. He was 50' away and would not come out of his office to talk to me and told the new salesperson to tell me its $2500 and non-negotiable (new model price) when he said it was $2000 for the floor model. All of a sudden he said the machines were sold and he would get more in later. I walked out! This place has no customer service skills. On my drive home the new salesperson called me and said she would send me a quote. I said okay, 7 days later I received a quote with the incorrect items I wanted. This place is a joke! They are not trustworthy. This weekend I purchased a brand new Hoist M16 and a Hoist Adjustable bench, brand new and less money from Johnson Fitness & Equipment!!!! Wayyyyyyy better service! I suggest u go there and not even deal with these Shysters!!! Johnson has locations everywhere, we dealt with their Pasadena and West Hollywood store! Go there!!!!! read more
